MUY IMPORTANTE
Precauciones de seguridad
Para reducir el riesgo de descargas eléctricas y lesiones, siga estas instrucciones
básicas de seguridad antes de utilizar el teléfono.
1. Lea detenidamente y siga las instrucciones de este manual.
2. Tenga en cuenta las advertencias marcadas en la unidad.
3. Durante la limpieza, desenchufe el teléfono. Use un paño húmedo. No utilice
líquidos ni aerosoles de limpieza.
4. No coloque objetos sobre el cable del teléfono que podrían dañarlo.
5. No utilice este teléfono en ambientes húmedos ni en los que pueda existir riesgo

6. Evite las salpicaduras de líquidos en el teléfono.

8. Respete la polaridad de las pilas, introduzca las pilas recargables de acuerdo
con los símbolos de polaridad (para más información, consulte el apartado de
instalación de las pilas).
9. Utilice exclusivamente pilas recargables homologadas del mismo tipo. Nunca
utilice pilas comunes ni pilas alcalinas convencionales. De lo contrario, podrían
producirse lesiones personales y poner en riesgo la salud de los usuarios.
10. No mezcle pilas gastadas y pilas nuevas. Las pilas gastadas no deben desecharse
junto con la basura doméstica convencional. ¡Respete el medio ambiente!
11. Utilice exclusivamente la unidad de suministro de alimentación que se
entrega, identificada con el símbolo de debajo de la unidad.
12. Los niños no son conscientes de los peligros de los aparatos eléctricos. Por
ello, este aparato debe mantenerse fuera del alcance de los niños o estar bajo la
supervisión de un adulto.
13. Use el teléfono sólo para los fines indicados.
14. Deje de utilizar o no utilice el teléfono si éste está averiado.
15. El teléfono ha sido diseñado para su utilización en ambientes con una temperatura
que oscile entre 5 ºC y 45 ºC .

Indicador de llamada Volumen / Desplazamientos por menús: Para
ajustar el volumen del teléfono y de la base (estando
en reposo). Desplazamiento por las opciones del menú
y las entradas a la agenda directamente.
Confirma un paso de programación. Activa una comu-
nicación interna. Durante una llamada, traspasa una
llamada a otro teléfono.
Borra caracteres de la pantalla. También se utiliza para
ir a los menús anteriores. Durante una llamada, presio-
ne para silenciar el micrófono.
Micrófono
Durante una llamada, presione para tener una nueva
señal de línea o contestar a la llamada en espera. En
modo de reposo, presione unos segundos esta tecla
para apagar y encender el teléfono.
Para hacer o responder una llamada. Durante una lla-
mada, al apretar esta tecla se activa el altavoz.
En modo de reposo, pulse esta tecla repetidamente
para ver los números salientes. Para remarcar el últi-
mo número marcado. Al introducir un número, inserte
una pausa entre números.

1. Conecte el extremo modular del adaptador de corriente a la toma de corriente de la

3. Para volver a colocar la tapa de la baterías, deslícela hacia arriba hasta cerrarla
correctamente.
El teléfono se entrega con las tres baterías Ni-MH recargables (tamaño AAA). Instale las
baterías antes de utilizar el teléfono.
Instalación de las BATERIAS del teléfono
1. Deslice la tapa en la dirección que indica la flecha y sáquela.
2. Saque las baterías usadas, en su caso, e inserte las nuevas baterías como se ve en
la figura, respetando la polaridad adecuada(1) (+,-).

NOTAS:
*(1)Cualquier inversión de la orientación de los polos podría causar daños al teléfono.
*Las baterías nuevas son suministradas descargadas.
*Para garantizar su máximo rendimiento, cargar las baterías durante al menos 24
horas antes de su primer uso.
*Las baterías nuevas pueden originar una indicación prematura de carga completa en
el cargador. Ignore esta indicación y deje que se carguen durante las 24 horas.
*Las baterías trabajarán a su máximo rendimento después de varios ciclos completos
de carga/descarga.
*Es necesario cambiar las baterías cuando no recuperen su capacidad de
almacenamiento total después de haberse cargado.
*Cuando cambie las baterías, asegúrese siempre de usar baterías recargables Ni-
MH de tamaño AAA y de alta calidad. No utilice ningún otro tipo de baterías ni pilas
alcalinas convencionales.
*Para cargar el teléfono, simplemente colóquelo sobre la base. Cuando está cargando,
el teléfono se enciende automáticamente y el icono de la pantalla parpadea.

SISTEMAMULTI-TELEFONO
En una misma base se pueden registrar hasta 5 terminales, entre placas y teléfonos,
con un máximo de 2 placas por base (placa principlal y secundaria).
Cada terminal registrado, ocupa una posición de memoria de la base. Existen 5 posiciones
de memoria en cada base (posición 1 a 5):
- La posición de memoria 1 está ocupada por el teléfono principal.
- La posición de memoria 2 está ocupada por la placa principal.
- Las posiciones 3, 4, y 5 inicialmente libres se utilizan pasa registrar terminales
adicionales.
Si las 5 posiciones de memoria están ocupadas deberá borrar una de ellas para poder
dar de alta el nuevo terminal.
Para poder registrar un nuevo terminal (Teléfono o Placa), es necesario disponer de
posiciones de memoria libres. Si todas las posiciones de memoria están ocupadas es
necesario borrar una de ellas para poder dar de alta el nuevo terminal.
Para borrar una posición de memoria, en caso necesario, ver apartado „Dar de baja un
teléfono (dar de baja un terminal)“.
NOTA MUY IMPORTANTE:
* Si el teléfono se registra como teléfono PRINCIPAL (posición de memoria = 1), podrá
atender llamadas desde placa. Si se registra como Teléfono ADICIONAL (posiciones
de memoria 3, 4 ó 5), NO PODRÁ ATENDER LLAMADAS DESDE PLACA.

Registrar nuevos teléfonos DECT
El teléfono suministrado con la base ya está regis-
trado como el teléfono número 1 y la placa como
teléfono número 2.
Cada teléfono adicional compatible con GAP que
adquiera deberá registrarse en la base.
1. Mantenga pulsada la tecla en la base
durante más de 10 segundos hasta que
la luz parpadee.

Nota:
Un mismo teléfono se puede registrar hasta en cuatro bases
diferentes. Y una base puede ser utilizada por un máximo
de 5 teléfonos.
GAP es el sistema estándar de conexiones telefónicas y
estaciones base de diversos fabricantes.
El teléfono digital suministrado en el kit es compatible con
GAP. Sin embargo, cuando se utiliza con teléfonos
compatibles con GAP de otros fabricantes, las funciones,
excepto aquellas propias de la conversación, pueden no
estar dispobles.
Para registrar un nuevo teléfono en la base:
2. Pulse la tecla para mostrar en pantalla los
elementos principales del menú.
3. Pulse las teclas o a seleccionar «Dar de
alta», y, a continuación, confirmar presionando la
tecla .
4. Pulse las teclas y para seleccionar
un número y, a continuación, pulse la tecla .
Resultado: En pantalla aparecerá el número de la base.
Resultado: En pantalla se mostrará el código de registro
que le será asignado al teléfono.
5. Pulse la tecla y en pantalla aparecerá el
mensaje «PIN». Introduzca el pin de la
base (el pin por defecto es 0000).

Si ésta no es la primera base que registra con ese número,
delante del número de la base aparecerá el símbolo «*».
Será necesario que seleccione otro número de la base.
Para registrar un nuevo teléfono con el teléfono ya
registrado:

0000), y, seguidamente, pulse la tecla .
Resultado: Se escuchará un tono de confirmación y en
pantalla aparecerá el submenú.
Resultado: En pantalla aparecerá el mensaje «Sub PIN».
6. Descuelgue el nuevo teléfono que desee
registrar y realice los mismos pasos del 2 al 6 que
se especificaban en «Para registrar un nuevo te-
léfono con la base» y proceder de este modo al
registro.
Resultado: El indicador luminoso de la base parpadea-
rá.
Nota:
En el paso 5, es necesario introducir el Sub PIN que ajustó
previamente.

4. Pulse la tecla o para seleccionar
Borrar Port y, a continuación, presione la

El estado actual se mostrará con el formato siguiente: «- -
- - -». Cada posición del cursor representa el estado de
conexión entre el teléfono y la base. «M» significa que el
teléfono se encuentra en modo de configuración. «-»
significa que no se ha registrado aún. (Por ejemplo: «M23-
-» significa: que hay tres teléfonos trabajando con la base
y que el HS 1 (teléfono 1) se encuentra en modo de
configuración.)
El teléfono no se eliminará del registro durante este modo
de funcionamiento.

mente se escuchará un tono de confirma-
ción. La pantalla del teléfono eliminado
del registro mostrará el mensaje «Not
sub».

To minimise the risk of electric shock and injury, follow these basic safety
instructions before using the telephone.
1. Carefully read and follow the instructions in this manual.
2. Pay attention to the warnings highlighted in the unit.
3. Unplug the telephone while cleaning. Use a damp cloth. Do not use liquids or
cleaning sprays.
4. Do not place any objects on the telephone cable that might damage it.
5. Do not use this telephone in damp surroundings or with risk of explosion.
6. Avoid splashing the telephone with liquids.
7. Unplug the telephone from the socket and contact a qualified professional repairer.
8. Respect the polarity of the batteries, inserting the rechargeable batteries according
to the polarity symbols (for more information, consult the section on installation
of the batteries).
9. Use only the same type of authorised rechargeable batteries. Never use
common batteries or conventional alkaline batteries. Otherwise, personal injury
may occur and the health of the users may be at risk.
10. Do not mix used up batteries and new batteries. Used batteries should not be
disposed of along with conventional domestic refuse. Respect the environment!
11. Use only the power supply unit provided, identified by the symbol underneath
the unit.
12. Children are unaware of the dangers of electrical equipment. For this reason, this
equipment must be kept out of reach of children, or under the supervision of an
adult.
13. Use the telephone only for the purposes indicated.
14. Do not use the telephone if it is faulty.
15. The telephone is designed for use in surroundings with a temperature ranging

Call indicator
Volume / Browse menus: To adjust the volume of
the handset and base (while on standby). Browse
through the menu options and agenda entries directly.
Confirms a programming step. Activates an internal
communication. During a call, transfers it to another
telephone.
Deletes characters from the screen. Also used to go
back to previous menus. During a call, press to silence
the microphone.
Microphone
During a call, press to get a new line signal or answer
the call waiting. In standby mode, keep this key pressed
for a few seconds to switch the telephone on and off.
To make or answer a call. During a call, press this key
to activate the loudspeaker.
In standby mode, press this key repeatedly to see the
outgoing numbers. To redial the last number entered.
When a number is entered, inserts a pause between
numbers.

1. Connect the modular end of the adaptor to the power socket on the base. The other
end plugs into the AC wall socket.

3. To replace the battery cover, slide it upwards until correctly closed.
The telephone handset is supplied with three rechargeable Ni-MH batteries (size AAA).
Install the batteries before using the telephone.
Installing the telephone BATTERIES
1. Slide off the cover in the direction indicated by the arrow and remove.
2. Take out the used batteries, when required, and insert the new batteries, as shown in
the figure, respecting the correct polarity (1) (+,-).

NOTES:
*(1) Any reversal of the orientation of the poles may damage the telephone.
*New batteries are supplied uncharged.
*To ensure maximum performance, charge the batteries for at least 24 hours before
using for the first time.
*New batteries may cause a premature indication of complete charge in the charger.
Ignore this indication and let the batteries charge for at least 24 hours.
*The batteries will work at maximum performance after several complete charge/
discharge cycles.
*Batteries must be changed when they no longer recover their total storage capacity
after charging.
*When changing the batteries, make sure you always use AAA size high quality
rechargeable Ni-MH batteries. Never use any other type of batteries or conventional
alkaline batteries.

MULTI-TELEPHONE SYSTEM
Up to 5 terminals may be registered in the same base, between panels and telephones,
with a maximum of 2 panels per base (main and secondary panels).
Each terminal registered occupies a memory position in the base. There are 5 memoery
positions in each base (positions 1 to 5):
- Memory position 1 is taken up by the main telephone.
- Memory position 1 is taken by the main panel.
- Positions 3, 4, and 5, initially free, are used to register additional terminals.
If the 5 memory positions are occupied, one of them must be deleted in order to be able
to authorise the new terminal.
To register a new terminal (Telephone or Panel), there must be free memory positions
available. If all the memory positions are occupied, you must delete one of them in order
to be able to register the new terminal.
To delete a memory position, if required, see section „Cancel a Telephone (Delete a
Terminal)“.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:
* If the telephone as registered as MAIN telephone (memory position = 1), you will be
able to answer calls from the panel. If its is registered as an ADDITIONAL Telephone
(memory positions 3, 4 or 5), CALLS CANNOT BE ANSWERED FROM THE PANEL.

Register new DECT Telephones
The telephone supplied with the base is already
registered as telephone number 1 and the panel as
telephone number 2.
Each additional GAP compatible telephone acquired
must be registered in the base.
1. Keep the key on the base
pressed for more than 10 seconds until the light
blinks.

Note:
The same telephone can be registered in up to four different
bases. A base may also be used by a maximum of 5
telephones.
GAP is the standard system for telephone connections and
base stations of several manufacturers.
The digital telephone supplied with the Kit is compatible
with GAP. However, when used with gap-compatible
telephones from other manufacturers, all of the the
functions, except for conversation, may not be available.
To register a new telephone in the base:
2. Press the key to show the main menu
elements on screen.
3. Press the keys or to select «Register»,
then press the key to confirm.
4. Press the and keys to select a number,
then press the key.
Result: The base number appears on screen.
Result: The screen shows the registration code to be
assigned to the telephone.
5. Press the keyand the «PIN» message comes
on screen. Introduce the base PIN (the default PIN
is 0000).

If this is not the first base registered with this number, the
«*» symbol will appear before the base number. It will be
necessary to select another base number.
To register a new telephone with the telephone
already registered:

the key.
Result: A confirmation tone is heard and the submenu
comes on screen.
Result: The «Sub PIN» message comes on screen.
6. Unhook the new telephone you wish to
register and follow the same steps from 2 to 6 as
specified in «Register a new Telephone with the
Base» and proceed with registration.
Result: The luminous indicator on the base blinks.
Note:
In step 5, you must introduce the Sub PIN set previously.
