5. Connect the hot/cold hoses to the mains. Hot on the le; cold on the right. Each hose has a filter. NB: Do not
remove during installation.
6. If you choose battery operation, use the screws and the plastic dowels to fix the battery holder bracket on the
wall under the basin. Put the 4x AA batteries into the battery holder.
7. If you choose mains power supply operation, position the power supply under the tap and connect it to the
240V power socket. NB: Only one power source must be used, battery pack or mains power supply.
8. Connect power in the following manner to ensure a correct operating position is set for the sensor
• Place an object in front of the tap spout sensor disc, at a suitable distance you would like it to operate.
This is approximately 150mm - 200mm from the tap base edge. Installer’s hand or the tap box is adequate.
• Make power connection to the sensor cable connector.
• The sensor will automatically validate its position. You will see the red LED flashing inside the sensor disc.
This will take approximately 15 seconds.
• The LED light will now turn o and you can remove the positioning object.
• Test the taps operating position for your normal usage. The LED light will come on.
9. At each battery or power disconnection and consequential re-connection, the above procedure (step 8) need to
be performed. The setting is not memorised if a disconnection is done.
10. The mixer handle can be replaced by a rubber grommet (Part #FORPT156) to avoid vandalism.
• To achieve this, firstly adjust to the required temperature.
• Then, simply remove the handle using an allen key. Do not lose the handle as this will be used to
adjustment the temperature, if later required.
• Finally, seal the hole with the rubber grommet, making sure it seals all around. Position: Keep away from
direct sunlight and mirror reflections.
NB: Intermittent running can be caused by inadvertently trapping the battery supply wire during installation.
The sensor beam and run time is factory set. Shut-o time will be delayed if the water pressure exceeds 300kpa
specify the Foreno FORPT131 (NV300) valve to moderate if necessary.
Battery:
Do not use dierent branded or a combination of old/new batteries. Only use Alkaline AA Batteries. If the sensor
light flickers twice every 2-3 seconds, it indicates low battery power. Turn o mains and replace batteries.
Filter:
The filter should be cleaned during the following instances:
1. At the first month for the new pipe installation.
2. Six months from faucet installation.
3. The water flow decreases.
Cut o all the power connection to the faucet, close the water supply. Screw o the cold/hot hoses, take out of the
connector, then filter and clean it.
