GST-806 is a vehicle mounted antenna holder, designed
for high speed GPR surveys. Its height is easily
adjusted to t different vehicles.
GST-806 vehicle mount can be used with all
Geoscanners airborne antennas from the Gekko-, HA-
and FLB-series. It can also be used with the GCB-1000
ground coupled antenna with the proper adapter and
restricted speed of acquisition.
The standard GST-806 can easily be customized for
specic mounting points on a vehicle or deployment
needs. Currently there are two standard accessories:
vehicle mount for snow mobiles and skis for snow
deployment. Please contact us if you need other
customization options.
*No antennas or accessories are included with GST-806. Antennas and accessories are purchased separately.

1. Front frame with a car hook.
2. Back frame.
3. Wheel with a magnetic ring for the encoder.
4. Wheel without a magnetic ring.
5. Support for the antenna (x2).
6. Antenna unit screws (x4).

Insert the wheel with the magnetic ring to the
back frame as shown above.
By pressing down the locking mechanism, insert
one of the black pipes into the back frame. It will
lock automatically once in place.
Repeat the previous step on the other side.
Insert the wheel without the magnetic ring on the
other side of the back frame.

Repeat steps 3-4 to insert the black pipes into the
front frame of GST-806.
Use the screws to secure your antenna. The
antenna should be oriented so that the labels are
readable from the front side of the vehicle mount.
Connect one end of the survey wheel encoder
cable to your ENC-820 survey wheel encoder.
Insert the provided antenna screws.
Connect the survey wheel cable once your
antenna is in place.
Always wrap the cable around one of the pipes
of the back frame. This minimizes the chance of
breaking the cable.

Connect the survey wheel encoder cable to your
antenna.
Custom vehicle mount for snow mobiles. The
assembly instructions are found on page 6.
Secure the control cable at the front of the vehicle
mount. Allow for enough slack so that the cable
is not stretched. Make sure that it is not hanging
close to the ground neither.
Connect the provided control cable to your
antenna.
Ski accessory for deployment on snow. The
assembly instructions are on page 7.

CONNECTING GST-806 TO A VEHICLE
Connect the provided hook to your vehicle. Make
sure that it is secured.
Repeat the process of the height adjustment on
the back frame of GST-806 if necessary.
Make sure that the height adjustments position
the antenna as parallel to the ground as possible.
This is done to ensure a good quality of your data
collection.
Adjust the front height of the GST-806 vehicle
mount by sliding the front frame up or down to
different pre-drilled positions.
Use the pre-drilled holes and quick-release bolts
to secure the position of the front frame.
Use quick release bolts to adjust the height of the
vehicle mount and antenna.

SNOW MOBILE EXTENSION FOR GST-806
Remove the standard car hook from the front
frame and insert the snow mobile extension as
shown above.
Secure the snow mobile extension by using the
provided wingnut for your locking screw.
GST-806 with the snow mobile extension.

SKI EXTENSION FOR GST-806
Slide the provided ski under one of the GST-806
wheels.
Pull the ski bands around the wheel.
Repeat steps 1-4 on the other wheel.
Secure the bands as shown above.
Lift the metal xture so that it presses the wheel.
