APPLIANCE
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions carefully before use.
2. Plug into a grounded 3-prong outlet. NEVER remove the groundingplug,
use an adapter or use an extension cord.
3. It is recommended that you use a separate circuit for just yourfreezer.
4. Before turning on, ensure the electrical voltage and frequency of the circuit
corresponds to those indicated on the rating label of the appliance (120V,
60Hz).
5. Do NOT pull on the cord, use the cord as handle, close a door on the

cord or pull the cord around sharp edges or corners. Keep cord away from
heated surfaces.
6. Do NOT connect or disconnect the electric plug when your hands are wet.
7. Do NOT bend or damage the power cord.
8. If the supply cord or plug is damaged, do NOT use the appliance. Please
contact Ginny’s Customer Service for information on returns or
replacement.
9. Always unplug the freezer when not in use. Todisconnect from the power
supply, grip the plug and pull from the power socket. Never pull by thecord.
The power plug must be removed from the power socket before cleaning,
servicing, maintenance or moving the freezer.
10. Make certain that the pipes are not pinched, kinked or damaged during
installation.
11. If the refrigerant leaks, don’t plug the appliance in or pull the plug out, as
this may cause a fire hazard.
12.Toensure proper ventilation for your freezer, the front of the unit must be
completely unobstructed. Choose a well-ventilated area for yourfreezer.
13.Toprotect against the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or splash
water or any other liquids on this freezer, cord set orplug.
14.The use of attachments which are not recommended or sold by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
15. Do NOT store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors or liquids inside
or in the vicinity of this or any other appliance. The fumes can create afire
hazard or explosion.
16. NEVER put glass in your freezer, as the glass can crack, break orexplode.

18. Do NOT use solvent-based cleaning agents or abrasives on the interior.
These cleaners may damage or discolor the interior.
19.This appliance is designed for indoor, household use only. Do NOTuse
outdoors.
20.This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they are supervised or given instruction concerning the
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
21. NEVER allow children to operate, play with or crawl inside thefreezer.
22. Do NOT attempt to repair or replace any part of your freezer unless it is
specifically recommended in this manual. All other servicing should be
referred to a qualified technician.
23. It is important for the freezer to be level in order to work properly.Youmay
need to make several adjustments to level it.
24. Use 2 or more people to install this freezer. Failure to do so can resultin
back or other injuries.
25. Improper installation may result in the risk of fire, electric shock and/or
injury.
26. Do NOT use the freezer for anything other than its intended use.
DANGER: Risk of child entrapment
• Child entrapment and suffocation are not problems of the past. Junkedor
abandoned appliances are still dangerous.
• Before you throw away your old freezer: take off the doors and leavethe
shelves in place so that children may not easily climb inside.
DISPOSAL:
We strongly encourage responsible appliance recycling/disposal methods.
Have refrigerant removed by a qualified service technician and check local
guidelines for proper disposal procedures.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Before using your appliance:
• Remove the exterior/interior packaging and the adhesive tape from the interior
parts.
• Pull out the bottom panel.
• Make sure you have all of the correct parts.
• Before connecting the appliance to the power source, let the freezer stand up-
right for approximately 2 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunctionin
the cooling system from handling during transportation.
Installation of your appliance:
• Place your appliance on a floor that is firm and completely flat. Leave 1–3inches
between the back and sides of the appliance and 12 inches between the top of
the appliance and the ceiling.
• Install the appliance awayfrom direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove,
heater, radiator, etc.) and humidity.
• Tolevel your appliance, adjust the legs at the front of the appliance. Set the
slope of appliance slightly backwards, as this ensures the doors are tightly
closed.

Temperature control:
• The temperature of the freezer is controlled by turning the knob.
• The range of the temperature control is from 1 to 7 (1 being the warmest
temperature, 7 being the coldest).
• Adjust the temperature control to the setting that best suits your needs, which is
normally “4”.
• To turn the thermostat off, turn temperature control to “0”.
NOTE:Turning the temperature control to “0” stops the cooling cycle but does not
shut off the power to the appliance.
NOTE: If the unit is unplugged or power is lost or turned off, you must unplug
the freezer and wait 5 minutes before restarting the unit. If you attemptto
restart before this time delay, the appliance will not start.
Defrosting your appliance:
WHEN?
• For the most efficient operation and minimum energy consumption, defrost the
freezer compartment when the frost on the appliance walls is excessive or 1/4"
thick.
HOW?
• Remove the frozen food from the appliance and place it in a cooler to protect
the food.
• Reset the thermostat to “0” and disconnect the power supply.
• Remove the drawers and shelves.
• Leave the door open until frost has completely thawed.
• Wipe up the water with a dry cloth.
WARNING: Do NOT use any other equipment or method to remove the frost, as
this may damage the cooling system.
Food tips:
• Keep adequate space between food to ensure proper aircirculation.
• The packaging should be airtight and shouldn’t leak since this could cause food
dehydration andodor.
• Cool hot food before placing in the freezer. If hot food is placed in the freezer, it
will increase the internal temperature and consume more energy.
• Refrain from frequent opening and closing of the door, as this will increase
energy consumption.
CARE&MAINTENANCE
Cleaning your appliance:
• Turn the temperature control to “0”, unplug the appliance and remove the food.
• Wash the inside and the door gaskets with warm (but not hot) soapy water or a
mild, nonabrasive cleaner. Wipe it clean with a piece of drycloth.
• The outside of the appliance should be regularly dusted with a piece of dry cloth
and cleaned when necessary with a mild, nonabrasive cleaner.
• When condensation from humidity forms on the outside of the appliance, wipe it
clean with a piece of dry cloth.
Maintenance of your appliance:
Power failure:
• Most power failures are corrected within a few hours and should not affect the
temperature of your appliance if you minimize the number of times the door is
opened. If the power is going to be off for a longer period of time, you need to
take the proper steps to protect your food.
Vacation time:
• During long absences, remove all of the food. Unplug and clean yourappliance
and leave the door slightly open to avoid possible formation of condensation,
mold or odors.

Moving your appliance:
• Remove all of the food.
• Turn the leveling screws up to the base to avoiddamage.
• Tape the doors shut.
• Be sure the appliance stays in the upright position during transportation.
NOTE: If the appliance is tilted for an extended period of time, follow theinstruc-
tions on p. 5 (Before Using Your Appliance).
REVERSING DOOR SWING
The side at which the door opens can be changed from the left hand side (as
supplied) to the right hand side, if the installation site requires. Should you
require the reversal of the door opening direction, please follow the instructions
on the following page.
Before reversing the door swing, ensure the appliance is unplugged and empty.
Provide additional support for the doors while the hinges are being removed.
• Do NOT depend on the door magnets to hold the door in place. It is recom-
mended that two people perform this task.
• Do NOT lay the appliance completely flat as this may damage the cooling
system.

REVERSING DOOR SWING
1.Tilt the appliance slightly (not more than 45°) towards the rear and prop it
securely. Twopeople are required to tilt the unit during the door reversal
process.
2. Remove the top hinge cover (1) and unscrew the three top hinge screws
(2) that are beneath it. Then remove the top hinge (3).
3. Remove the cabinet plug (4) and the door handle plug (6).
4. Remove thedoor.
5. Remove the right and left leveling legs (8).
6. Remove the bottom hinge (5) and unscrew the three bottom hinge screws
(7).
7. Screw the bottom hinge (5) to the reverse side of the freezer with the
three bottom hinge screws (7).
8. Replace the right and left leveling legs (8).
9. Place the door back on the freezer, making sure it is aligned horizontally
and vertically so that the seals are closed on all sides.
10. Screw the top hinge (3) to the reverse side of the freezer with the three
top hinge screws (2).
11. Place the top hinge cover (1) over the top hinge.
12. Install the cabinet plug (4) and the door handle plug (6) on the reverse
side.
13. Adjust the leveling legs.

TROUBLESHOOTING WARRANTY
Ginny’s warrants this product free from defects in material
and workmanship for one year from provable date of purchase.
Within this warranty period, Ginny’s will repair or replace,
at its option, defective parts at no charge, provided the
product is returned, freight prepaid with proof of
purchase to Ginny’s.
Allow 2-4 weeks for return shipping.
This warranty does not cover improper installation, misuse,
abuse or neglect on part of the owner.
Warranty is also invalid in any case that the
product is taken apart or serviced by an
unauthorized service station.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights
and they may vary from state to state.

PROBLEM
