GMX Mini e-Quad Bike

RIDE SAFE
- Never let children ride quad bikes that are meant for adults – even as passengers.
- Do not carry any passengers on quad bikes that are meant for one person.
- Quad bikes are not all-terrain vehicles so they cannot go safely on all types of terrain. Avoid riding on rough terrain or steep slopes.
- Ride on familiar tracks and beware of obstacles.
- Never ride under the inuence of alcohol/drugs.
- Ensure children are supervised at all times near any quad bike activity.
- Always carry a mobile phone or radio device so you can contact help in case of an emergency.
WEAR SAFE
- Always wear a helmet.
- Wear protective clothing and gear such as goggles, long sleeves, long pants, boots and gloves/hand protection.

CHECK ALL LOOSE PARTS
- Check and secure all nuts and bolts BEFORE EVERY RIDE. Make sure the handle bars and their clamp are tight to unsure no
movement and are locked into place. There should be no unusual shakes or noises associated with loose or broken parts. If you are
unsure, get advised by an experienced small engine mechanic or hobby shop technician.
BRAKE CHECK
- Check the brakes for correct functioning. When you apply pressure to the hand brake you should have a positive braking action.
If not adjust the brake accordingly. When you apply the brake with the accelerator on the brake cut-o switch will stop the motor.
FRAME, FORK AND HANDLEBARS
- Check for cracks in the frame or broken connections. A broken frame is very rare but in some cases when aggressive riders run
into a gutter can break a frame. Make sure the check is done regularly.
TYRE INFLATION
- Check the tyres for excessive wear and always check the pressure and re-inate if required. If you get a at tyre you will need to
replace the inner tube and are available to purchase from GMX
SAFETY GEAR
- Always wear a motorbike Australian standard helmet and protective gear such as elbow pads, knee pads, gloves and enclosed
shoes. Never ride barefoot or in thongs.
WARNINGS
Swing tags have been placed on your vehicle for you to identify checks that are located within this manual. Once you have performed the
check required remove these swing tags and nylon loops attaching them to the vehicle.
MAKE SURE TO REMOVE THE SWING TAGS AND TAKE SPECIAL NOTICE TO REMOVE THE NYLON LOOP.

GMX MOTORBIKES WARRANTY
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major
failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods
fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The manufacturer warrants this product to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of 12 months from date of purchase. This Limited Warranty does
not cover normal wear and tear( exclusions apply) or any damage, failure or loss caused by improper assembly, maintenance, or storage or use of the GMX
product. Some parts will have a limited warranty period, please see below. This warranty is a part replacement warranty.

Bearings, tires, tubes, cables, clutches, brake pads, seats
Minor assembly is required and in the interest of safety and warranty it is recommended that you have this product assembled by a qualied, skilled small
engine mechanic.
You may need to provide proof of being assembled by a skilled mechanic if not a report from a small engine mechanic advising of the issues to process
your warranty claims.
The warranty is a parts replacement warranty and labor is not included, defective parts may need to be sent back for inspection.
This Limited Warranty will be void if the product is ever;
- Used in a manner other than for recreation or transportation
- Modied in anyway
- Rented or commercial use.
The manufacturer is not liable for incidental or consequential loss or damage due directly or indirectly to the use of this product.
Always adhere to the maximum load of the product, over loading the product will void the warranty.
How a claim is made
When making a claim, you will need to provide proof of purchase, condition photos of the item. This information is required to be submitted via the
support center and communication is made through the support center. When the claim is created, the customer will receive the claim number and the
customer support team should reply within 48 hours.

Riding your GMX e-Quad bike can be a hazardous activity. Certain conditions can cause the equipment to fail with no fault to
the distributor or manufacturer of the item. Like all electrical products, this e-Quad bike is made to move and in turn therefore
possible to lose control, get into dangerous situations and fall o that no amount of case, instruction, training or expertise can
totally stop. If these things occur you can be seriously injured or die, even when using all equipment for safety and adhering to
all precautions.
RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND USE COMMON SENSE
This manual contains many warnings and cautions concerning the consequences of failing to maintain, inspect or properly
use your electric motorbike. Because any incident can result in serious injury or even death, we do not repeat the warning of
possible serious injury or death each time such a possibility is mentioned.
APPROPRIATE RIDER USE AND PARENTAL SUPERVISION
This manual contains important safety information. It is your responsibility to review this information and make sure that all
riders understand all warnings, cautions, instructions and safety topics and assure that young riders are able to safely and
responsibly use this product. It is recommended that you periodically review and reinforce the information in this manual with
younger riders, and that you inspect and maintain your children’s product to insure their safety.
The recommended rider age of 5+ is only an estimate, and can be aected by the rider’s size, weight or skills. Any rider unable
to t comfortably on the GMX Mini e-Quad Bike should not attempt to ride it.
***A parent’s decision to allow his or her child to ride this product should be based on the child’s maturity, skill and
ability to follow rules.****

Keep this product away from small children and remember that this product is intended for use only by persons who are, at a
minimum, completely comfortable and competent while operating the products.
Do not exceed 50kg’s total weight on your GMX Mini e-Quad Bike does not necessarily mean a person’s size is appropriate to t
or maintain control.
Do not touch the brakes or electric motor on your electric motor bike when in use as they can become very hot.
ACCEPTABLE RIDING PRACTICES AND CONDITIONS
Always check and obey any local laws or regulations which may aect the locations where GMX Mini e-Quad Bike may be used.
Ride defensively. Watch out for potential objects that could catch your wheel or force you to swerve suddenly or lose control.
Be careful to avoid pedestrians, skaters, skateboards, scooters, bikes, children or animals who may enter your path, and respect
the rights and property of others.
The GMX Minie-Quad Bike is meant to be used only in controlled environments free of potential trac hazards and not on public
streets or sidewalks. Do not ride your electric motor bike in any areas where pedestrian or product trac is present.
Do not activate the speed control on the hand grip unless you are on the electric motor bike and in a safe, outdoor environment
suitable for riding.
These bikes were manufactured for performance and durability but are not impervious to damage. Jumping or other aggressive
riding can over-stress and damage any product, including the electric motorbike, and the rider assumes all risks associated with
high-stress activity.
Be careful and know your limitations. Risk of injury increases as the degree of riding diculty increases. The rider assumes all risk
associated with aggressive riding activities.
Maintain a hold on the handlebars at all times.
Never carry passengers or allow more than one person at a time to ride the electric motor bike.
Never use near steps or swimming pools.
Keep your ngers and other body parts away from the drive chain, steering system, wheels and all other moving components.

Never use headphones or a cell phone when riding. Never hitch a ride.
Do not ride the GMX Mini e-Quad Bike in wet or icy weather and never immerse the electric motor bike in water, as the electrical
and drive components could be damaged by water or create other possibly unsafe conditions.
The GMX Mini e-Quad Bike is intended for use on at, level ground without loose debris such as rocks or gravel. Wet, slick, bumpy,
uneven or rough surfaces may impair traction and contribute to possible accidents. Do not ride the electric motorbike in mud, ice,
puddles or water. Avoid excessive speeds that can be associated with downhill rides. Never risk damaging surfaces such as carpet
or ooring by use of an electric motor bike indoors.
Do not ride at night or when visibility is limited.
PROPER RIDING ATTIRE
Always wear proper protective equipment such as an approved safety helmet (with chin strap securely buckled). A helmet may
be legally required by local law or regulation in your area. Elbow pads and kneepads, a long-sleeved shirt, long pants and gloves
are recommended. Always wear athletic shoes (lace-up shoes with rubber soles), never ride barefooted or in sandals, and keep
shoelaces tied and out of the way of the wheels, motor and drive system.
USING THE CHARGER
The charger supplied with the electric motor bike should be regularly examined for damage to the cord, plug, enclosure and
other parts, and in the event of such damage, the bike must not be charged until the charger has been repaired or replaced.
Use only with the recommended charger.
Use caution when charging.
The charger is not a toy. Charger should be operated by an adult.
Do not operate charger near ammable materials.
Unplug charger and disconnect from bike when not in use.
Always disconnect from the charger prior to wiping down and cleaning your scooter with liquid.

FAILURE TO USE COMMON SENSE AND HEED THE ABOVE WARNINGS INCREASES RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY. USE WITH
APPROPRIATE CAUTION AND SERIOUS ATTENTION TO SAFE OPERATION.
WARNING:
DO NOT USE NON-GMX PRODUCTS WITH YOUR GMX Product. The GMX Mini e-Quad Bike has been built to certain GMX design
specications. The original equipment supplied at the time of sale was selected on the basis of its compatibility with the frame,
fork and all other parts. Certain aftermarket products may or may not be compatible.
MAKE SURE POWER SWITCH IS TURNED“OFF” BEFORE CONDUCTING ANY MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES.
ESTIMATED ASSEMBLY AND SET-UP TIME
Allow up to 30 minutes for assembly.
Allow up to 18 hours for initial charge (see page 3 for charging information).
WARNING:
Failing to properly check, adjust and tighten all bolts can cause you to lose control and crash. Check over the entire vehicle
prior to every use.

There be a seperate package with the parts required for assembly. Locate this package to start your assembly.
1. Attaching handlebars – The handlebars will be sitting aside on the top of your GMX E-Quad bike. Place the handlebars in the
correct position and place the ends of the bolts through the bolt holes on the steering arm. Pic. 1

Locate the nuts in the assembly package and attach and tighten. Careful not to pinch any wires in the process. Pic. 2

2. ATTACHING FRONT WHEELS: The front wheel will need to have the discs facing in, with the tie rod arm to be at the top.
Pictures show the correct position of the brake calliper and tie rod arm bolt hole.

Remove the kingpin bolt from the axle hub Pic. 4 Place in the correct position on the frame. Pic. 5 slide bolt in with washers on
the outside, attach nut and tighten. Pic. 6 This will need to be done on the left and right sides.

NOTE: Attach brake cable prior to tie rod end of steering arm.

Locate the brake cable coming from the handlebars and place in the brake cable holder NOTE: with the larger hole at the top
Pic. 7 Then place the cable end around and under the brake arm bolt (there is a grove for it) adjust and tighten. Pic. 8

BRAKES CHECK & ADJUSTMENT

WARNING:
The brake is capable of causing the electric motorbike to skid the tire throwing an unsuspecting rider. Practice in an open area
free from obstacles until you are familiar with the brake function. Avoid skidding to a stop as this can cause you to lose control.
3. ATTACHING TIE ROD END (STEERING ARM)
Locate the tie rod end and remove the bolt, Slide into place. Pic. 9 + 10 and with an 8mm open end spanner hold the top of the
tie rod end on the at grooves Pic. 11. Hold this with the open end spanner and attach nut, tighten.

5. ATTACHING BUMPER: Locate fron bumper and two bolts. Place bumper on front of bike over two hole available for
bolts, insert bolts and tighten. Pic. 12

INFLATING THE TYRES
Tyres will be inated from manufacture and in some cases may lose air through the shipping process.
Use a bicycle pump to inate to the specied PSI indicated on the side of your tyres.
WARNING: Failure to keep correct pressure in the tyres can cause loss of control of the vehicle and result in injury. CHECK tyre
pressure prior to every ride.
Note: The pressurized air supplies found at gasoline stations are designed to inate high-volume automobile tires. If you
decide to use such an air supply to inate your tires, rst make sure the pressure gauge is working, then use very short bursts
to inate to the correct PSI. If you inadvertently over-inate the tire, release the excess pressure immediately.

CHARGING
•Initial charge time: 18 hours
• Recharge time: up to 12 hours,
Your GMX E-Quad bike may not have a fully charged battery and will need to be charged for 18 hours prior to use.
Up to 30 minutes of continuous ride time
Turn power OFF before charging. Plug the charger into the charger port on the motor bike.
Plug the charger into a wall outlet. If the lights on charger do not light up, check the power to the outlet. If necessary, try a
dierent outlet to check for fault with the charger.
Charger may become warm and this is normal form some charger. If unnecessary heat is emitting turn the charger o and
check for fault.
Chargers have built-in over-charge protection to prevent battery from being over-charged.
The charger supplied with the bike should be regularly examined for damage to the cord, plug,
Enclosure and other parts, and, in the event of such damage, the Pocket Rocket must not be charged until it has been
repaired or replaced.

Use ONLY with the recommended charger
WARNING:
Always disconnect your electric motorbike from the charger before cleaning with liquid.
Note: If your charger does not look like the one illustrated, your unit has been supplied with an alternative charger.
The specications and charging procedure would not change.

CHARGING THE BATTERY
The charger has a small window with one LED or two LEDs to indicate the charge status. The charging port in located under
the seat. Place the charger in the socket ensuring a tight t. Place the charger in the wall socket.
This will illuminate green until you switch the power on the wall socket. It will then illuminate red indicating it is charging
and green once charged.

Do not store the battery in temperatures above 75° F or below -10° F.
CONTAINS SEALED NON-SPILLABLE LEAD BATTERIES. BATTERIES MUST BE RECYCLED.
Disposal: Your GMX product uses sealed lead-acid batteries which must be recycled or disposed of in an environmentally
sound manner. Do not dispose of a lead-acid battery in a re. The battery may explode or leak. Do not dispose of a
lead-acid battery in your regular household trash. The incineration, land lling or mixing of sealed lead-acid batteries
with household trash is prohibited by law in most areas. Return exhausted batteries to a federal or state approved
lead-acid battery recycler or a local seller of automotive batteries.

is ghtly plugged into the charging port, and the charger is plugged

Check all wires and connectors to make sure they are ght. The
fuse will burn out and automacally shut offthe power if the
power if the motor is overloaded.
Motorbike was running
but suddenly stopped
Burned-out fuse
An excessive overload, such as too heavy a rider or too steep a hill,
could cause the motor to overheat. Replace the fuse with a new
one of equel amperage. Correct the condions that caused the
fuse
to burn out to avoind burning out the fuse again.
Motor or electrical switch damage
Contact GMX service centre for diagnosis and repair
Short run me (less than

Undercharged baery
Charge the baery. A new baery

WARNING:
If a battery leak develops, avoid contact with the leaking acid and place the damaged battery in a plastic bag. Refer to the
disposal instructions at left. If acid comes into contact with skin or eyes, ush with cool water for at least 15 minutes and
contact a physician.
WARNING:
Battery posts, terminals and related accessories contain lead and lead compounds. Wash your hands after handling.
