AVOID EXTREME HEAT AND COLD
Place the refrigerator away from direct sunlight & heat sources such as
radiators, cooking ranges, direct air drafts i.e., windows, fans, etc.
PLACE ON A FIRM, LEVEL FLOOR
If the floor requires adjustment, suitable packing will have to be used. No stand
must be used with the refrigerator. It should directly vest on the floor.
USE THE PROPER VOLTAGE AND ELECTRICAL WIRING
Your refrigerator operates on AC 230 V, 50 Hz power supply. If there is a wide
fluctuation in supply voltage, a voltage stabiliser is advisable. Connect the plug
to a 3 pin, 5 amps socket.
Ensure that the wall socket is properly earthed by a qualified electrician. It is
safe to use a socket with a fuse and a switch, at about 1.4 metres from the floor.
To achieve a better cooling performance of the refrigerator, it should be
operated in rated Climate class T (+16°C to +43°C). Outside the climate class it
may not be able to maintain a satisfactory internal temperature.
KEEP IT CLOSE TO THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET
Do not use an extension cord. The wires should be kept off the floor to avoid any
short circuit if the water drips on the floor.
4 - FIRST STEPS
1) Plug the appliance cord into the wall outlet and switch ON the supply.
2) After a single beep from the buzzer (only for electronic models) check if the
light glows after opening the lower door of the refrigerator.

A. FREEZER (UPPER) COMPARTMENT
It is used to make and store ice and store ice cream and other
frozen desserts. Also used to store meats, poultry, fish, fruit
pulp and other frozen foods for extended periods of 8-12
weeks.
• A separate ice tray section is provided with two ice trays
and an ice server.
• The twist & serve design allows you to collect the ice
formed in the ice server below, by just twisting the ice
trays.
• The ice server can be used for storing ice cubes while
the ice trays become available for making more cubes.
However, please do not use it for making ice. Ice
expands with cooling, so it may lead to cracking of the
ice server.
• The placing of ice twister assembly in freezer
compartment must be as shown in the picture in order

6 - FULLY AUTOMATIC DEFROSTING
The refrigerator is designed to defrost both its compartments automatically. The cyclic defrost system ensures that the
refrigerator defrosts itself daily, by a ‘Defrost Heater’ during the ‘Defrost Cycle’ during which the compress is off only for
some time.
Defrost water drains into the water evaporation pan which sits above the compressor through a drain pipe. From there, it
evaporates automatically.
OVERFLOW OF WATER FROM EVAPORATION PAN
Clean the water evaporation area periodically. You can unplug the pan to clean it properly.
Ensure proper replugging as the defrosted water might leak on the floor if not done properly.
7 - BEFORE CALLING FOR SERVICE
If your refrigerator is not working properly, check the following before you call for service assistance:
1. Power plug is properly connected.
2. Fuse is intact and the power supply is normal.
3. Temperature control is set correctly.
To replace LED lights:
Switch off the appliance. Remove plug from the socket. Remove the LED by gently sliding towards left and then pulling
out. Replace LED PCB from LED light cover and fit it back.
Note: The refrigerator has been designed for efficient heat dissipation. It is normal for the side and back of the
refrigerator to be warm. On opening the door, you may also find droplets on the inner surface. This is a normal
condensation process and not a defect.
8 - USEFUL SUGGESTIONS FOR FOOD STORAGE
•
•
• It is better to freeze meat in bigger pieces. Avoid mincing the meat in advance.
• All frozen foods should either be packed in containers or wrapped in polythene bags or aluminium foil.
• Bread, cake and pastries should be properly warped in containers.
• Butter, margarine and other fats can be stored in their original wrappings and in covered containers if in use.
• Loosely wrap all vegetables, especially leafy vegetables in polythene bags.
• Fruits and vegetables with strong odour should be wrapped tightly.
• Certain vegetables like fresh beans and lady fingers should not be washed before storing.
• Mushrooms, melons and peaches can only be chilled and not preserved.
• If fruits and vegetables are washed, drain all the water before storing as it increases the possibility of spoilage and
decay.
• Hot food should be cooled down to room temperature before storing.
• Ginger, Garlic and red chilli paste can stay in the freezer for 15-20 days.
• Chutneys can be kept for 3-4 days.
• Ice creams should always be stored in the freezer with freezer max settings. It may still stay slightly soft as the
retailers store ice creams in deep freezers.
• Bottles containing water and other liquids should be tightly capped.
• Unopened canned food need not be stored in the refrigerator.
All food should be fresh before refrigeration. As food can be preserved, not rejuvenated.
If frozen foods are not safe for freezing if they are thawed before storing in the fridge.
11

10 - MOVING OUT / SHIFTING
GOING ON VACATION
Don’t switch off the refrigerator if you are away for less than a week. If you are on a long break, switch off
the power, remove the plug and all the food inside. Defrost and clean the refrigerator. Leave the door
slightly open to prevent smell. Place a thick towel over the door so it does not close.
MOVING HOUSE
If you are moving house, it is essential that a Godrej service representative or an authorised dealer
inspects the refrigerator at the time of re-installation. This is important for the continuation of the warranty
of the product/optional service contract for the sealed system of refrigerator.
We would also recommend that the product should be insured against any damage in the transit. The
warranty on the product/service contract continues to be effective only if the product is found to be in a
working condition at the time of re-installation by the Godrej service representative or its authorised
dealer at its destination town.
9 - CLEANING YOUR REFRIGERATOR
Complete defrosting and cleaning once a month is advisable. To do this, switch off the refrigerator and
disconnect the plug from the wall socket.
• Empty the refrigerator by remove all foods and trays
• Wipe the refrigerator gently with a soft cloth and mild soap
• Water should not get into LED and other electrical components
• Ensure that fridge is dry before restarting
• Clean the exteriors with warm, soapy water. Wipe dry.
• Keep the surroundings insect free. Do not spray any chemicals or insecticides inside the refrigerator
as it can damage the interior
• Keep the exterior of the refrigerator dry to prevent rusting. Especially the lower front edge of the
cabinet and bottom surfaces of the door.

DISPOSAL OF PACKING MATERIAL
After installation of the refrigerator, recycle/reuse the corrugated box, fitments and polythene cover/straps. Do not
dispose of them as garbage.
ENERGY CONSERVATION TIPS FOR REFRIGERATOR USE
You can follow these guidelines to save electricity:
1. Never place hot food in the refrigerator. It increases the inside temperature and consumes more electricity.
2. Avoid opening doors for a long duration as it makes the air inside warm.
3. Ensure the refrigerator door is properly closed.
4. During installation, ensure the minimum distance between the refrigerator and the walls is as per instructions. This is
important for efficient functioning of the fridge.
5. Avoid exposing the refrigerator to extreme heat like sunlight and other heat sources. This adds extra load and
consumes more electricity.
6. Switch off the power if you are going away for a longer period of time.
7. Set the temperature and cold air control judiciously. At peak settings, the power consumption is the highest.
