CCTR-700 GPS TRACKER USER MANUAL
¾Welcome to use this GPS tracker CCTR-700. It has many new functions, such as
recording tracking, uploading history tracking to website, uploading current
location to website, locating immediately and sending SMS with latitude and
longitude, built in shock sensor to control power saving, object shock & move
alarm, over area alarm, over speed alarm, emergency help etc.
Many specifications are special, such as free uploading history tracking, google
map link SMS locate, waterproof, magnetic pin, shock sensor control power
saving, long battery life(10-15 days, standby mode), etc.
¾It can be used as tracking cars, company vehicles, buses, taxis, trucks, elders,
children, outside workers, travelers, explorers, overlanders, pets, moving
equipments, transportations, criminals etc.
¾This product is with GPS module and GSM module. The user can call the tracker
with mobile phone and then the tracker will automatically hang up the call. When
the GPS module received the GPS signal, it will get the latitude and longitude, and
then upload the location to our website through GPRS or send the information
(latitude, longitude, speed, battery, time etc) to the caller by SMS. The user can
visit our free website www.followmegps.com and input the latitude and longitude
information, then the location will be displayed on the map(It is unnecessary for
the user to download any software, but certainly the user can change the map to
satellite earth map or flat map); or the user can visit our free register website
www.followmegps.net to register personal name (Use the serial number of the
product to register on the website). To sign in, the user can upload the tracking to
the website, and also can display the tracking on the map, which is completely
free, but only available to the products from our company.
¾Service charge is not necessary for this product, and the only charge is the SMS
sending charge or GPRS data charge without voice talking charge and service
charge for which the charge is very low to the user. The user can use the GSM
prepaid phone card, which needs SMS, incoming caller ID display and GPRS
function (If the user needs to upload the tracking through GPRS).

zBefore Using
At first to buy a GSM phone SIM card, which needs SMS service and incoming caller
ID display function (If you’d like to upload the tracking, the card should enable GPRS
function), and then to install the card to the tracker, in which, the SIM card phone
number is the very tracker number and all the operations (calling and sending SMS) to
the tracker is this number, such as locating immediately, add & delete preset number,
changing password, enabling over speed alarm, enabling move alarm etc.
1. Power ON / OFF
When power is OFF, please press the “SOS”button till the GREEN LED is ON,
and then release the button and the tracker is power ON. When the LED
flashes once every 4 seconds, it does mean that the tracker is ready and works
well.
When power is OFF, recharging the tracker will power on the tracker
automatically.
When the power is ON, please press the “SOS”button till the GREEN LED
flashes very fast, release the button, and then press the “SOS”button 3
times, after which the GREEN LED will turn off and the tracker will power OFF.
2. Install SIM card

Pulling out the long narrow rubber stopple beside the tracker, you can see the
SIM card socket, beside which, press the yellow switch point with a tool and then
the holder will come out. Pull it out and put the SIM card in the holder and then
push the holder into the tracker, (Pay attention to that the SIM card metal contact
pin can not face down to the holder) at last push the long narrow rubber stopple
into the tracker to cover the SIM card socket.
Note: Before installing or uninstalling the SIM card, you must power off the
tracker.
3. LED flash indicator
GREEN LED Flash once : working well
GREEN LED Flash twice : working well and GPS signal weak
GREEN LED Flash three times : working well and battery low
GREEN LED Flash four times : working well, battery low and GPS signal weak
GREEN LED ON continuously : GSM searching network
GREEN LED OFF continuously : Power off
GREEN LED Flash fast : incoming or making a call or receiving a SMS
RED LED Flash once : begin record tracking
RED LED Flash twice : last upload tracking fail
4. Recharge the tracker
Please check and confirm that the adapter model is suitable for this tracker, for
which we recommend using our OEM charger to recharge the tracker.
Warning: this tracker only uses the 5V DC voltage to recharge, so too high
voltage or AC voltage may damage the tracker or even cause accidents.
Use the USB charging wire to recharge the tracker. Pull out the rubber stopple
in the power socket on the tracker, and insert the USB wire to car adapter with
tracker. If the LED on the adapter is RED, it means that it is recharging, if
GREEN, it means that the recharging is finished. The recharging needs about
3-4 hours to finish.
Use the home AC adapter to recharge the tracker. Insert USB wire to the AC
adapter, others is the same with the above.
When being recharged, the tracker can work as normal. It will take about 3-4

hours to finish the recharging. When the battery is low, the GREEN LED on
tracker will flash three times, and then the tracker will automatically send
battery low information to the first preset phone number. When the battery
voltage is too low, the tracker will power off automatically but when you
recharge the tracker, it will power on automatically.
Theoretically, the battery life can last about 10-20days. However the standby
time could be shorter in different actual situation. (For example GPS
continuously ON can reduce the standby time to 1-2 days, also weak GSM
signal can reduce the standby time etc.)
5. Back to default set
Pull out the long narrow rubber stopple beside the tracker, you can see the SIM
card socket, press the yellow switch point beside the socket with a tool, the holder
will come out, pull it out, press the “SOS” button and don’t release, the GREEN
LED will flash 10 times and turn ON continuously, and then release the “SOS”
button, cover the rubber stopple on the SIM card socket, the tracker is back to
default configuration, delete all preset phone number and password, the password
is changed to default : 123456.
6. Tracking Record Capacity
This tracker built in flash memory, record the track point every 5-30 seconds, (if
the speed is higher than 50km/h, record once every 5 seconds, if the speed is
lower than 50km/h and higher than 10km/h, record once every 15 seconds, if
the speed is lower than 10km/h, record once every 30 seconds, if the tracker
don’t move, it will not record), total record quantity is 32768, if the speed is
higher than50 km/h, it can record over 45 hours under keep running.
7. ANTENNA
The Antenna of GSM and GPS are built in the tracker.
Pleas leave the tracker away from big metal, this will reduce the GSM and GPS
signal.
8. Waterproof
The design of the tracker is IP56 level waterproof, it means the raining or
sprinkling can not damage the tracker, but you can not drop the tracker into

water.
9. Shock Sensor Control Power Saving
This tracker built in shock sensor, user can enable SHOCKCONTROL function,
then the shock sensor can trigger GPS ON or OFF, then when the tracker is not
moving, the GPS will turn off, this can make the battery life longer.
10.Using Condition
The working temperature is -20 0C to 60 0C, over this range the specification of
the tracker maybe can not reach the standard level, the storage temperature
can reach to -40 0C to 80 0C.
zFunction Description
Preset Phone Number: user can set 3 preset phone number, this number is used as
sending SOS help, low battery alarm information and change/check tracker password
and trigger the locating by calling, only preset phone number can do these operation.
¾Add/Delete/Check Preset Phone Number: add / delete / check the preset phone
number, only preset phone calling can trigger the tracker to send back location
information or upload tracking to website, if the tracker have not preset phone
number, any phone calling can trigger the tracker to locate and send back the
location or upload tracking to website, but if the password is correct any phone
can sending SMS to trigger locating whether it is preset phone number or not.
¾Change / Check Password: change / check the tracker operation password, only
preset phone can check and change password of the tracker.
¾Set langue: the tracker can accept both chinese and english command, user can
set the location information langue, if you set the langue is chinese, then the
tracker sending information is chinese, the default langue is english.
¾Report location by SMS mode: Use preset phone call the tracker, after ring 3 times,
the tracker will hang up the call automatically, the tracker will locate immediately,
about 30 seconds, the tracker will send the information (latitude longitude speed
battery time etc) of current location to the caller by SMS, user can visit
www.followmegps.com and input latitude & longitude to locate current location on
the map,if the GPS signal is too weak (such as indoor or underground park), the
tracker will send the last locate information to caller. sending a SMS with

password to tracker also can trigger locate immediately.
¾Report location by Google map link mode: Use preset phone call the tracker, after
ring 3 times, the tracker will hang up the call automatically, the tracker will locate
immediately, about 30 seconds, the tracker will send the information (including a
Google map link and speed battery time etc, ) of current location to the caller by
SMS, user can visit click the link to visit google map website to locate current
location on google map by using a smart phone, if the GPS signal is too weak
(such as indoor or in underground park), the tracker will send the last locate
information to caller. sending a SMS with password to tracker also can trigger
locate immediately.
¾Report location by upload website mode: Use preset phone call the tracker, after
ring 3 times, the tracker will hang up the call automatically, the tracker will locate
immediately, about 30 seconds, the tracker will upload current location
information to website (www.followmegps.net) by GPRS and sending a SMS to
caller to notice it is success or not, user can visit this website and sign in, then the
current location is display on the map, if the GPS signal is too weak (such as
indoor or underground park), the tracker will upload last locate information to
caller. sending a SMS with password to tracker also can trigger upload current
location. using this mode you need set the IP, and the GSM card need enable
GPRS function.
¾Upload history tracking to website mode: Use preset phone call the tracker, after
ring 3 times, the tracker will hang up the call automatically, the tracker will upload
the history tracking in the tracker memory to website (www.followmegps.net) and
sending a SMS to caller to notice it is success or not, user can visit this website
and sign in, then user can display the specified period tracking on the map,
sending a SMS with password to tracker also can trigger the uploading history
tracking. using this mode you need set the IP, and the GSM card need enable
GPRS function.
¾Sending SMS to trigger the locating or uploading: sending a SMS to tracker with
password also can trigger the tracker to locate immediately and send back
information by SMS or uploading location to website.

¾Start/Stop Record tracking: The upload tracking mode setting is just a phone
calling trigger mode setting, it will not start to record tracking, user need sending
a SMS to tracker to start record tracking and stop record tracking, please note that:
when start record tracking, the GPS will power on continuously (STANDBY mode),
this will reduce the battery life to 1-2 days, and the capacity of record point is
32768, when the memory is full, it will overwrite the early data.
¾Set GPS Power Control STANDBY Mode (Default factory mode): Set GPS power
control is STANDBY mode, then the GPS is continuously OFF and GSM is normal
ON, GPS will power on when locating or record tracking, this mode is the long
battery life mode, it maybe last 10-15 days. But under this mode, when the tracker
can not receive GPS signal (in room or underground), it will not report location
before enter room, it will report the location last located.
¾Set GPS Power Control SHOCKCONTROL Mode: Set GPS power control is
SHOCKCONTROL mode, then the GPS power ON or OFF is controlled by shock
sensor, if the tracker is moving, the GPS will on continuously, if the tracker do not
move over 2 minutes, the tracker will turn OFF GPS power, this mode can enlarge
the battery life when recording tracking, it maybe last 5-7 days. Under this mode,
when the tracker can not receive GPS signal (in room or underground), it will
report location before enter room.
¾Set Power Saving (Set GPS On Off Interval): Set GPS power saving mode (Factory
default is GPS normal OFF and GSM is normal ON, GPS will power on when trigger
the tracker to locate), GPS will turn on continuously when set real tracking mode,
user can set the interval of the GPS on and off, then when the GPS signal is weak,
the tracker send the location is the interval time before, otherwise the tracker send
the location is the last time locating.
¾Set shock & move alarm: Set shock & move alarm mode, the system will monitor
the object continuously, if the shock sensor is trigger, the tracker will send alarm
and location information by SMS to the phone who enable the shock alarm, and
later every 2 minutes the tracker will send alarm information by SMS, if the shock
sensor keep been trigger, the tracker will only alarm 3 times, and then stop alarm,
user can send SMS to enable shock again, this mode will not turn on GPS, so it

will not reduce battery power.
¾Over Area Alarm (Electronic Geo-force): Can set 2 point, the tracker will check
every 5 minutes, if the tracker go out the rectangle area of the 2 point, the tracker
will send alarm information by SMS to the phone who enable the over area alarm,
including the latitude longitude speed battery time etc, please noted that, this
mode maybe cost a lot of SMS charge and battery if the object is out of the area.
¾Over Speed Alarm: Can set the max speed, the tracker will check every 5 minutes,
if the tracker speed higher than the setting speed, the tracker will send alarm
information by SMS to the phone who set the over speed alarm, including the
latitude longitude speed battery time etc, please noted that, this mode maybe cost
a lot of SMS charge and battery if the speed is higher than setting.
¾Real Tracking Mode: Can set the real tracking mode, the tracker will check every
preset interval time, and send location information by SMS to the phone who set
the real tracking mode, including the latitude longitude speed battery time etc.
please noted that, this mode will cost a lot of SMS charge and battery.
¾“SOS”: Press the “SOS”button about 6 seconds, the tracker will send
“HELP”information to all preset number by SMS, also including the latitude
longitude speed battery time etc.
zFunction Operation
¾Add / Delete / Check preset number:
This tracker has 2 way to trigger the locating immediately or upload tracking, one
is using preset phone number call the tracker, tracker will hang up the phone
automatically, and locate immediately or upload tracking, if the preset phone
number is not set, any phone calling can trigger the locating or uploading;
Another is sending a SMS including password to tracker to trigger the locating or
uploading, any phone can use this method, and the password is needed, so please
keep your password safety.
1. Add preset phone number by SMS
Send SMS“ADDPHONE*123456*A*number”(Not including the quotation marks
“ ”, Number means the telephone number you want preset, the following is same)
to tracker is OK, “ADDPHONE” is a command; “123456” is password; “A” is preset

number location, every tracker have is 3 preset phone number location, A , B and C,
so you can preset 3 phone number, if the add operation is success, the tracker will
send back the information ”Add Preset Phone OK”, if the command or password is
not right, the operation is fault, the tracker will send back information “Bad
Command ” or “Wrong Password”.
2. Delete preset phone number by SMS
Send SMS “DELETEPHONE*123456*A” to the tracker, “DELETEPHONE” is a
command; “123456” is password; “A” is preset phone number location, there is 3
location “A”，“B” and “C”; if the delete operation is success, the tracker will send
back the information ”Delete Preset Phone OK”, if the command or password is
not right, the operation is fault, the tracker will send back information “Bad
Command ” or “Wrong Password”.
3. Check preset phone number by SMS
Send SMS “CHECKPHONE*123456” to tracker, “CHECKPHONE” is a
command; “123456” is password; if the operation is success, the tracker will
send back the information “Preset Phone A: 13322990998；B：13322990033；
C：13316868198”, the phone number is just an example. if the command or
password is not right, the operation is fault, the tracker will send back
information “Bad Command ” or “Wrong Password”.
¾Change / Check Password
1. Change tracker password
Send SMS “CHANGEPASSWORD*123456*888888” to tracker,
“CHANGEPASSWORD” is a command; “123456” is old password; “888888” is new
password; if the operation is success, the tracker will send the information “ New
Password：888888” to every preset phone number, if the command or password is
not right, the operation is fault, the tracker will send back information “Bad
Command ” or “Wrong Password”.
Note: Only preset phone can change the password.
2. Check tracker password
Send SMS “CHECKPASSWORD” to the tracker, “CHECKPASSWORD” is a
command, if the operation is success, the tracker will send back the information

“Password：888888”; “888888”is an example.
Note: Only preset phone can check the password.
¾Set Langue:
Send SMS “ENGLISH*123456” to the tracker, “ENGLISH” is a command, “123456”
is password; if the operation is success, the tracker will send back the information
“ Set Langue to English” , If the command or password is not right, the operation is
fault, the tracker will send back information “Bad Command ” or “Wrong
Password”. After setting the langue to english, all the SMS information is change
to english, the default langue is english, also you can set the langue to chinese,
replace the command “ENGLISH” to “设置中文” is OK.
¾Set Calling Trigger Mode to SMS Mode: Suit for all mobile phone user.
1. Send SMS “SMSMODE*123456” to the tracker, “SMSMODE” is a command,
“123456” is password; if the operation is success, the tracker will send back
the information “ Set Report Mode to SMS” , if the command or password is not
right, the operation is fault, the tracker will send back information “Bad
Command ” or “Wrong Password”.
2. Under this report mode, using preset phone call the tracker, after ring 3 times,
the tracker will hang up the call automatically and locate immediately, about 30
seconds, the tracker will send back the SMS location information (latitude
longitude speed battery time etc) of current location to the caller. If the tracker
has not preset number, any phone call can trigger the tracker to locate
immediately and send location to the caller, if the tracker has preset number,
then only preset phone call can trigger the tracker to locate immediately.
3. Basic Location information including Latitude, Longitude, Speed, Direction,
Date & Time, Battery etc. the SMS information sample is as follow:

The first line is the latitude of the tracker.
The second line is the longitude of the tracker.
The third line is the speed of the tracker (the speed maybe is not zero if the
object is not moving because of the GPS precision)
The fourth line is the direction of the tracker( It is the direction of the tracker
moving to, from the north it is 0, and the east is 90, and the south is 180, and
the west is 270, full circle is 360, it is clockwise, the direction maybe is not right
if the object is not moving because of the GPS precision).
The fifth line is the GMT time and date, (this time is the world standard
Greenwich time, and this time is the 0 degree longitude line time, your local
time need add or minus a fixed number of hours, for example China Beijing
time is GMT add 8 hours, it means it is 8 hours earlier than GMT ).
The sixth line is the tracker battery capacity, if the battery is lower than 10%,
tracker will send battery low information to preset phone number.
4. If the tracker can not receive the GPS signal, it can not locate current location,
then it will send the last locating information to caller, and add a warning
information “GPS signal weak, Last located:” , the following information is the
last locating information.
5. User visit our website www.followmegps.com to input the latitude & longitude
can locate tracker on the flat map or earth map, also user can use free Google
Earth to locate the tracker.
¾Sending SMS to Trigger Locating and Sending Back SMS Location
Send SMS “SMSLOCATE*123456” to the tracker, “SMSLOCATE” is a command,
“123456” is password; the tracker will locate immediately and send back the
location information (latitude longitude speed battery time etc) of current location
to the caller. The SMS example is same with above, if the command or password
is not right, the operation is fault, the tracker will send back information “Bad
Command ” or “Wrong Password.
¾Set Calling Trigger Mode to Google Map Link Mode: Suit for smart phone user.
1. Send SMS “LINKMODE*123456” to the tracker, “LINKMODE” is a command,
“123456” is password; if the operation is success, the tracker will send back

the information “ Set Report Mode to Google Map Link” , if the command or
password is not right, the operation is fault, the tracker will send back
information “Bad Command ” or “Wrong Password”.
2. Under this report mode, using preset phone call the tracker, after ring 3 times,
the tracker will hang up the call automatically and locate immediately, about 30
seconds, the tracker will send back the SMS location information (Google map
link and speed battery time etc) of current location to the caller. If the tracker
has not preset number, any phone call can trigger the tracker to locate
immediately and send location to the caller, if the tracker has preset number,
then only preset phone call can trigger the tracker to locate immediately.
3. Basic Location information including Google Map Link, Speed, Direction, Date
& Time, Battery etc.

The first line is the current location on the google map website internet link, the
following information is same as above.
4. If user use smart phone, click on the internet link to visit the google map
website and the location will display on the goole map.
¾Sending SMS to Trigger Locating and Sending Back Map Link Location: Suit for
smart phone user.
Send SMS “LINKLOCATE*123456” to the tracker, “LINKLOCATE” is a command,
“123456” is password; the tracker will locate immediately and send back the
location information (Goolge map website internet link, speed battery time etc) of
current location to the caller. The SMS example is same with above, if the
command or password is not right, the operation is fault, the tracker will send
back information “Bad Command ” or “Wrong Password.
¾Set Upload Current Location Mode: Suit for internet user

1. Send SMS “UPLOADMODE*123456” to the tracker, “UPLOADMODE” is a
command, “123456” is password; if the operation is success, the tracker will
send back the information “ Set Report Mode to Upload Current Location” , if
the command or password is not right, the operation is fault, the tracker will
send back information “Bad Command ” or “Wrong Password”.
2. Under this report mode, using preset phone call the tracker, after ring 3 times,
the tracker will hang up the call automatically and locate immediately, about 30
seconds, the tracker will upload current location to www.followmegps.net
through GPRS, and send a successful SMS information to caller. If the tracker
has not preset number, any phone call can trigger the tracker to locate
immediately and upload current location to website, if the tracker has preset
number, then only preset phone call can trigger the tracker to locate
immediately.
3. SMS information including, Speed, Direction, Date & Time, Battery etc.
the SMS information sample is as follow:

4. Under this mode, the GSM phone card should enable the GPRS function and
user need set the IP address (the default IP address is : 121.14.148.19,2088 ,
the address maybe change if the server is upgraded). The command for
setting IP is as follow, if the IP is not set or the website has no response the
tracker will send back the information of let you set IP or website has no
reponse (maybe the IP has been changed or the server computer is too busy,
please try later).
5. www.followmegps.net website is designed by our company, and it is free for
our products user, it need to register first, use the serial number of the
products to register is OK, one serial number only can register one user

name, if the serial number is used by other people, please contact us to
delete the user name.
6. When user sign in the website, click on the tracking display menu, the
display location is the latest location of the tracker.
¾Sending SMS to Trigger Uploading Current Location: Suit for internet user
Send SMS “UPLOADLOCATE*123456” to the tracker, “UPLOADLOCATE” is a
command, “123456” is password; the tracker will locate immediately and upload
current location to www.followmegps.net through GPRS, and send a successful
SMS information to caller. The SMS example is same with above, if the command
or password is not right, the operation is fault, the tracker will send back
information “Bad Command ” or “Wrong Password. Also this operation need the
SIM card enable GPRS function and set IP address and register first on the
website.
¾Set Upload History Tracking Mode: Suit for internet user to check tracking
1. Send SMS “TRACKINGMODE*123456” to the tracker, “TRACKINGMODE” is a
command, “123456” is password; if the operation is success, the tracker will
send back the information “ Set Report Mode to Upload History Tracking” , if
the command or password is not right, the operation is fault, the tracker will
send back information “Bad Command ” or “Wrong Password”.
2. Under this report mode, using preset phone call the tracker, after ring 3 times,
the tracker will hang up the call automatically and upload history tracking in
the tracker that has not been uploaded to www.followmegps.net through
GPRS, and send a successful SMS information to caller. If the tracker has not
preset number, any phone call can trigger the tracker to upload history
location to website, if the tracker has preset number, then only preset phone
call can trigger the tracker to upload history tracking immediately.
3. SMS information including Battery etc.
the SMS information sample is as follow:

4. Under this mode, the GSM phone card should enable the GPRS function and
user need set the IP address (the default IP address is : 121.14.148.19,2088,
the address maybe change if the server is upgraded). The command for

tracker will send back the information of let you set IP or website has no
response (maybe the IP has been changed or the server computer is too busy,

data and time to display the tracking (The tracking only keep for 2 weeks on
the server computer).
Note: Please note that “Set Mode to Upload History Tracking” is just a setting
mode for phone calling trigger way, It will not start record the tracking, user need
sending SMS to start & stop the record the tracking.
¾Sending SMS to Trigger Uploading history tracking: Suit for internet user to check
tracking
Send SMS “UPLOADTRACKING*123456” to the tracker, “UPLOADTRACKING”
is a command, “123456” is password; the tracker will upload history tracking in
the tracker that has not been uploaded to www.followmegps.net through GPRS,
and send a successful SMS information to caller. The SMS example is same with
above, if the command or password is not right, the operation is fault, the tracker
will send back information “Bad Command ” or “Wrong Password. Also this
operation need the SIM card enable GPRS function and set IP address and
register first on the website.
Note: Please note that “Upload Tracking” is just a command to let tracker begin to
upload history tracking in tracker that has not been uploaded to website, It will

not start record the tracking, user need sending SMS to start & stop record the
tracking.
¾Start Record Tracking
1. Send SMS “STARTRECORD*123456” to the tracker, “STARTRECORD” is a
command, “123456” is password; the tracker will start record tracking

if the flash memory in the tracker is full, the earliest data will be overwrite, if
the command or password is not right, the operation is fault, the tracker will
send back information “Bad Command ” or “Wrong Password.
2. The record interval is not fixed, if the speed is lower than 10km/h, every 30
seconds record 1 point, if the speed is higher than 10km/h and lower than
50km/h, every 15 seconds record 1 point, if the speed is higher than 50km/h,
every 5 seconds record 1 point, if the tracker don’t move, no record. If the
speed is higher than 50km/h, the tracker can record over 45 hours.

1. Send SMS “STOPRECORD*123456” to the tracker, “STOPRECORD” is a
command, “123456” is password; the tracker will stop record tracking
immediately, and send back a successful SMS to notice stop record tracking,

¾Set Upload Website IP Address:

Send SMS “IP*123456*121.14.148.19,2088” to the tracker, “IP” is a command,
“123456” is password; “121.14.148.19,2088” is upload website IP address, if the
operation is success, the tracker will send back the information
“IP:121.14.148.19,2088” , the default IP address is : 121.14.148.19,2088, the
address maybe change if the server is upgraded, any change we will notice on the
website : www.followmegps.net , if the command or password is not right, the
operation is fault, the tracker will send back information “Bad Command ” or
“Wrong Password”
¾Set Internet APN:
Send SMS “APN*123456*CMNET” to the tracker, “APN” is a command,
“123456” is password; “CMNET” is the china mobile company APN name, if the
operation is success, the tracker will send back the information “APN:CMNET”,
for most mobile company the APN name has been saved in the phone card, it is
not necessary to set APN again, but some mobile company the GPRS internet is
supply by different company or you can select other internet service company,
then you need set APN name. if the command or password is not right, the
operation is fault, the tracker will send back information “Bad Command ” or
“Wrong Password”
¾Check ID Number of Tracker:
Send SMS “ID*123456” to the tracker, “ID” is a command, “123456” is
password; if the operation is success, the tracker will send back the information
“ID No: 20080808001”, the “20080808001” is the serial number for this tracker, this
number is a unique number for register on the website www.followmegps.net , if
the number is used by other people please contact us to delete the user name. if
the command or password is not right, the operation is fault, the tracker will send
back information “Bad Command ” or “Wrong Password”
¾Set GPS Power Control STANDBY Mode (Default factory mode):
Send SMS “STANDBY*123456” to tracker, “STANDBY” is a command;
“123456” is password; Set GPS power control is STANDBY mode, then the GPS is
continuously OFF and GSM is normal ON, GPS will power on when locating or
record tracking, this mode is the long battery life mode, it maybe last 10-15 days.

But under this mode, when the tracker can not receive GPS signal (in room or
underground), it will not report location before enter room, it will report the
location last located.
¾Set GPS Power Control SHOCKCONTROL Mode:
Send SMS “SHOCKCONTROL*123456” to tracker, “SHOCKCONTROL” is a
command; “123456” is password; Set GPS power control is SHOCKCONTROL
mode, then the GPS power ON or OFF is controlled by shock sensor, if the tracker
is moving, the GPS will on continuously, if the tracker do not move over 2 minutes,
the tracker will turn OFF GPS power, this mode can enlarge the battery life when
recording tracking, it maybe last 5-7 days. Under this mode, when the tracker can
not receive GPS signal (in room or underground), it will report location before
enter room.
¾Set Power Saving (Set GPS On Off Interval):
Send SMS “SETPOWER*123456*10” to tracker, “SETPOWER” is a command;
“123456” is password; “10” is interval time, it means every 10 minutes the GPS
will turn on and receive the location one time, the interval digit must be a 2
number, from 00 to 99, Unit is minute, if the time is longer then the power saving
is longer, 00 means GPS normally ON, and 99 means GPS normally OFF, (The
factory default is 99, means GPS normally OFF, when phone to the tracker to
trigger the locating, GPS turn on. If the real tracking mode is set, the GPS will
normally ON).
¾Enable Shock & Move Alarm (Can be used as car alarm):
Send SMS “SHOCKALARM*123456” to tracker, “SHOCKALARM” is a
command, “123456” is password, the tracker will send back the information “Set
Shock Alarm OK” to indicate the operation is success, if the command or
password is not right, the operation is fault, the tracker will send back information
“Bad Command ” or “Wrong Password”
After enable shock alarm, the system will monitor shock sensor, if the shock
sensor is trigger, the tracker will send alarm and location information by SMS to
who enable the alarm, and later every 2 minutes the tracker will send alarm
information by SMS if the tracker keep moving. 3 times alarm later, shock alarm

will stop, user can send SMS to enable the shock alarm again, this function will
not turn on GPS, so it will not reduce battery power.

¾Over Area Alarm:
Send “SETAREA*123456*A22.670000N114.140000E*B22.680000N114.140000E”
SMS to the tracker, “SETAREA” is a command, “123456” is password,
“A22.670000N114.140000E” is the longitude and latitude of the first point(Point A)
location, “B22.680000N114.140000E” is the longitude and latitude of the second
point(Point B) location.
Note: the over area set need 2 point, it is A and B, Point A must be on the Left
bottom of the point B, the format of latitude and longitude of every point is as
follow: Latitude format is YY.YYYYYYN, it has 8 digits, the last is N or S, means
north latitude or south latitude, if the digit is not reach to 8 please add zero to 8
digits, Longitude format is XXX.XXXXXXE; it has 9 digits, the last is E or W, means
east longitude or west longitude, if the digit is not reach to 9 please add zero to 9
digits, if the command and password is right, the tracker will send back the
information “Set Over Area Alarm OK” to indicate the operation is success. If the
command or password is not right, the operation is fault, the tracker will send
back information “Bad Command ” or “Wrong Password”
After set the over area alarm, the system will locate every 5 minutes and check
the object is in the preset area or not, if the object is go out the area, then the
tracker will send SMS to the phone who enable the alarm.

¾Over Speed Alarm:
Send SMS “SETSPEED*123456*040” to tracker, “SETSPEED” is a command,
“123456” is password, “040” is the preset report speed, the speed must be 3
digits , from 000 to 999, unit is Km/hour, the tracker will send back the information
“Set Over Speed Alarm OK” to indicate the operation is success. If the command
or password is not right, the operation is fault, the tracker will send back
information “Bad Command ” or “Wrong Password”
After set the over speed alarm, the system will locate every 5 minutes and
check the speed of the tracker is higher than the preset speed or not, if the speed
is higher than the preset speed, the tracker will send SMS to the phone who
enable the alarm.

preset total tracking times, “T” means times, the tracking time is from 000 to 255,
must be 3 digits, “15M030T” means every 15 minutes locate one time, total 30
