Important information
about SkypeTM

SkypeTM feature requires that your
TV is connected to internet.

It cannot be used as a SkypeTM
phone and cannot be used for
emergency calls.

SkypeTM calls made over wireless
connection may have lower audio
and video quality.

Audio and video calls made with
other SkypeTM users are free. For
other SkypeTM services such as
calling mobile or land phones
with lower cost, SkypeTM Credit or
a subscription is required.

A noisy environment may lower
audio quality of the microphone.

Skype is deactivated and you can-
not receive incoming calls when
the TV is turned off.
Safety

This camera is designed to trans-
mit video and audio signals. All
other uses are expressly prohibi-
ted.

Protect the camera from rain,
moisture (dripping or splashing
water) and heat (heaters or direct
sunlight, etc).

Only use the camera in a modera-
te climate.

Never open the camera casing
under any circumstances. No
warranty claims are accepted for
damage resulting from improper
handling.

Do not use any cleaning agent,
as this may damage the casing.
Clean the camera with a clean,
moist leather cloth.
SkypeTM Ready
This Video Call Camera G-VCAM-01
allows you to make audio and video
calls from SkypeTM to SkypeTM for
free anywhere in the world via inter-
net connection.
You need internet access and the
SkypeTM Ready application, which
is installed on your GRUNDIG tele-
vision.

MOUNTING AND CONNECTING _________
Mounting
1 Attach the camera to the upper
side of the television and fasten it
with the flexible holder.
2 Adjust the camera to your sitting
position.
Connecting
1 Insert the USB socket for the cam-
era into the socket »USB1« or
»USB2 (HDD)« on the television.
