To ensure maximum safety, best performance, and to gain knowledge of the mower, it is
essential that you and any other operator read and understand the contents of this handbook
before the engine is started. If you are unsure of any procedure detailed in this Handbook then

Pay particular attention to the safety alert symbol which means Caution, Warning, or Danger.
Read and understand the instruction as it is relates to safety.

To reduce the potential for injury, comply with these safety instructions. This mower should
be operated, serviced and repaired only by persons who are familiar with its particular
characteristics and who are acquainted with the relevant safety procedures.
Throughout this handbook all references to left and right are as viewed from behind the
handlebar, in the direction of forward travel.
This machine has been designed in accordance with EN ISO 5395.
Hayter Limited have designed and tested this machine for reasonably safe service; however,
failure to comply with the instructions in this handbook may result in personal injury.
This mower is designed solely for use in a domestic grass cutting environment. Use in any other
way is considered as contrary to the intended use.

To ensure low noise and vibration levels, carry out the following procedures correctly:
• To prevent overloading the engine, use the correct height of cut and ground speed.
• Follow the recommended maintenance instructions.
