1. The top and bottom metal hoops each have six
sections, loosely connected inside the
HugglePod with an internal rope. Starting at
the back end (opposite door opening), join the
sections of metal hoops together, forming two
complete metal hoops. When connecting
sections, rope pieces should be tucked inside
the metal hoops.
Tip: It is helpful to assemble the HugglePod in
this order: connect top hoop, hang Huggle-
Pod (hanging instructions are included), then
connect bottom hoop.When connecting the
naltwosections,holdthepolesatanangle
and snap upwards to connect.
2. Secure each section of completed metal hoop
withthehookandloopfold-overflaps.
3. Insert 3 AA batteries into the string lights
battery pack, and insert battery pack into
pocket at the top of the HugglePod.
Startingwiththersttieunderthe
battery pack, secure the light strand to
the ties attached around the top.
To Disassemble:
• Untie the light strand and battery pack, and
remove them from around the top of the
HugglePod. Remove batteries.
• Remove the HugglePod from the HangOut
Hanger.
• Disconnect the sections of the bottom
supporting metal hoop, then repeat for the
top supporting metal hoop.
• Fold up the HugglePod and return it and
the HangOut Hanger to its carrying bag.

Hanger Assembly Instructions
Note on Installation:
If hanging indoors, we recommend hanging your HugglePod from a stand (available for purchase separately). If hanging from a ceiling, then the
suspension device must be installed by a professional. It should be suspended so that the seat is no more than 18” from the ground when occupied.
Wrap one end of the HangOut Hanger’s shorter rope (with loops at both ends) around the tree
trunk. It may have to be wrapped two or more times around, depending on the thickness of the
trunk. Pull one looped end of the rope through the other looped end so the rope is securely
wrapped, making sure the hanging loop is accessible.
Use the quick-link carabiner to attach the end of the
longer rope to the metal ring on top of the HangOut.
Toss the end of the longer rope (with the Prusik Knot)
over the tree branch you’ve selected.
Attach the quick-link carabiner attached to
the Prusik Knot to the accessible loop on
the rope that is wrapped around the tree.
Hoist up the HangOut to the desired height,
feeding the longer rope through the Prusik
Knot, which will act like a ratchet and hold the
HangOut securely in place as the HangOut’s
weight creates tension on it.

IMPORTANT BATTERY INFORMATION
• Battery installation and removal should be performed by an adult.
• Use only batteries recommended in this instruction manual.
• Be careful to install the batteries with the correct polarity, as indicated.
• Do not mix old and new batteries; remove all batteries when replacing.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc),rechargeable (nickel-cadmium), or any different types of batteries.
• Non-rechargable batteries are not to be recharged.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged and are only to be charged under adult supervision.
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type are to be used.
• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
• Always remove weak or dead batteries from the product.

It is imperative that you observe all relevant instructions for installation, assembly, use, and safety. Do not exceed the maximum
weight limit. Please retain these instructions for future reference.
Safety:
The battery pack is not waterproof and should not be left outdoors for extended periods of time.
The HugglePod has a limited lifespan. Exposure to heavy loads, direct sunlight, damp weather conditions, and frequent cleaning with harsh chemicals will
shorten the lifespan; therefore, we recommend bringing indoors when not in use.
Your HugglePodneeds to be checked regularly for wear and tear.This might be evident through distinct changes in color of the fabric or in the appearance of
the hanging apparatus. Immediately replace your HugglePod if it shows signs of wear.
The maximum carrying capacity for the HugglePod is 350 lbs. Inspect the HugglePod prior to each use.Dispose of it if the full carrying capacity is no longer
warranted.
Never leave children unattended in your HugglePod.Make sure that the product is not misused as a swing, gymnastics equipment, playground equipment, or
climbing frame.Twisting and spinning should be avoided as it stresses the hanging hardware.Be aware that there is no safety belt that could prevent a child
from falling out of the HugglePod.
This product is not suitable for children below the age of three years. Do not place a baby in the HugglePod.
