Hey Presto manufactures a range of instant Hot water systems.
Hey Presto systems are the ultimate solution to instant hot water on demand
wherever you need.
The Hey Presto Hot Water system’s advantage is its convenience and
reliability for the modern kitchen or bathroom. Please read
this instruction booklet carefully before use, The information will provide
you with instructions on product installation and use, be sure to follow.

replacing defensive products. Warranty is void if purchased from non-authorised dealer. Shipping

Installation Notes:
NOTE: This product must be installed by a licensed plumber and a Pressure control or
limiting valve must be installed if pressure exceeds Maximum Operating Pressure.
1. Before installing check the rated voltage, technical parameters of the present
requirements.
2. Meter inspection, all switches and wiring to be in line with specifications of
the product requirements.
3. Ensure the electric power socket is connected where it will not come in contact
with water.
4. Installation is quick and easy. All you need is access to electricity, water and a sink
with mounting holes for the faucet.

All queries and information will be kept confidential.
The tap comes with a 12 Month replacement warranty.
Damage after the warranty or due to any improper use. Failure to comply with the
installation and operating instructions or improper use causes the warranty to
become void.

Steps Necessary
For Installation:
1. Make certain all the in coming water
supply is turned off both Hot and Cold.
2. The Incoming HOT water pipe must be
capped as you no Water Sink longer
require this pipe.
3. The Tap is placed on to the sink top
THE RUBBER WASHER is placed on
the tap and the electric flex fits through.
4. The CABLE PROTECTION UNIT is
fitted on to the TAP and the
ELECTRICAL FLEXI CABLE
is located in position, the Cable
Protection will fit flush with the base of
the tap
5. The LOCKING NUT is screwed all the
way to meet the Cable Protection Unit
and secured into position.
6. The WATER CONNECTION HOSE
is connected to the base of the tap
AND SECURED TIGHT.
7. The small FILTER is inserted into the
water CONNECTION HOSE at
the same time.
8. The WATER CONNECTION HOSE
is connected to the incoming COLD
WATER PIPE.
9. The ELECTRIC FLEXI CABLE must
now be connected to the ELECTRIC
POWER PLUG.
10. Plug into Power socket and turn ON.

Correct Installation:
NOTE: THIS PRODUCT MUST BE INSTALLED BY A LICENCED PROFESSIONAL
1. Install the product and connect the water according to installation sketch.
2. Turn on the water source and switch the handle to both the “cold” and “hot”
directions to let out water and check if there is any leakage at connections.
Switch the handle to the “hot” direction and the heating indicator light is on,
showing that the product is heating. Five to ten seconds later, hot water flows
out. Switch the handle to the cold direction and the heating indicator light will
turn off.
3. The product stops heating and the heating indicator light is off.
Normal Use:
1. Prior to first use, open the valve switch, check the water pipes to see if access
to water is normal. Ensure there are no leakages.
2. Switch Electricity handle left, open the flow for the heat, the light will turn on
a few seconds after the hot water will flow.
3. The temperature is hotter at the first turn left with less flow and a milder
temperature at full flow. Turn the handle switch to the middle to close the
water supply.
Safe use:
1. Check to ensure water does not coming in contact with power source.
2. Do not use when immersed in water.
3. Do not continue to use this product if there are any abnormal noises, the
machine is smoking or if there is any strange smells. Switch off at power supply
and Contact your dealer.
4. To clean, please do not immerse product in water. Prior to cleaning switch off
at the power supply. Use a damp cloth to clean. Do not use alcohol, solvents or
other cleaning chemicals. When using in Hypothermic or freezing environments
you must take antifreeze measures.
5. This products water filters and nozzles require regular cleaning. If the
power cord is found to be damaged remove from power supply immediately
and contact an electrician for maintenance.

1. Maintenance should be carried out by professional personnel at all times.
Please contact the dealer for any queries.
2. To be installed in accordance with requirements of operation, fixed power lines,
shall not be damaged, altered, extended.
3. To avoid personal injury do not neglect the safety instructions of this product.
4. If there is damage to the power cord, an electrician must repair or provide the
replacement.
5. For a period, will receive the corresponding parts of the costs of materials.
Customer is responsible for all delivery to Hey Presto.

Warranty:
To enable us to provide you with excellent service, we ask you to take the time to
truthfully fill out the warranty card. All queries and information will be kept
confidential. All Hey Presto Hot Water Products purchased from Hey Presto Hot Water
Products or authorised dealers are covered by a Limited Replacement Warranty for 1
year from date for purchase to the original buyer for defects in materials and work-
manship. This warranty does not cover any damage due to abuse, normal wear and
tear, neglect, acts of nature, damage resulting from improper use. Any Hey Presto sys-
tem not installed in conformity with the provided instructions will not be covered by
this warranty. The Customer is responsible for shipping to and from Hey Presto. Any
product found to be defective within 1 year of purchase will be replaced at Hey Presto
Hot Water products, discretion to the original buyer providing your product was regis-
tered with Hey Presto within 10 days of purchase and copy of receipt is included with
product when returned to factory for replacement. Due to the harsh and uncontrolled
environment that our products may be used, we have a “Limited Warranty” on all Hey
Presto products.
Procedure for returning your product to Hey Presto
for replacement/repair:
Before returning your product for repair please contact Hey Presto 07-3117 9695 for a
return authorisation number. Many issues can be resolved without returning the
product. Outside of this warranty period Hey Presto will contact you with estimated
charges and for approval to repair your system before any work is completed.
All returns to Hey Presto for repair or replacement must be returned to Hey Presto
with postage paid.
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ
Please ensure you read this manual carefully prior to installing the Hey Presto Hot
water system. It is essential that you follow the installation instructions and safety
recommendations outlined in this manual to ensure the system works correctly.
Failure to do so could cause damage to the system or serious bodily injury and/or
death.
Hey Presto will not be liable for any damages due to failure to comply with the
installation and operating instructions as outlined in this manual or due to any im-
proper use. Failure to comply with the installation and operating instructions or
improper use causes the warranty to become void.

Earth Leakage
Protector Instructions
1. Connect wires as per picture
2. Screw bone cap into position
3. Slide rubber seal into place
4. Replace cap and tighten all 4 screws
5. Follow instructions on earth leakage
protector unit, plug into power point
and begin operation
(#14 on installation instructions)
The Earth Leakage Protector is for Caravan use only.
Hey Presto suggest an electric leakage protector be installed when used in Cara-
vans or RV’s. Please test if the protector works properly after the electric circuit
is correctly connected. When the power is on, press the “reset” button and the
power indicator light is on. Then press the “test” button and the indicator light is
off after the “click” sound. This shows that the protector is functioning normally
and the installation process is over.
