FEKTO usage:
FEKTO is to be connected between your guitar and the amp or in your chain of stomp boxes, preferable last in the
chain. It can also be connected to your amplier serial eects loop. With FEKTO the eects will always be routed in
parallel with the original sound—this to minimize degradation of your original guitar tone (examples on page 2).
FEKTO can also be used as a high quality buer + two boosters with a tone control. This is made by patching the
Send/Return jacks, which will give unaected, buered tone as well as two independent boosters to push your amp
or pedals into dierent levels/distortions—you’ll get three (3) dierent characters/levels from one single pedal!
Every pedal is 100% handmade, tested and carefully adjusted by the original designer in Sweden. More information

Even though the current draw of FEKTO is low (3-4 mA) the battery needs to be replaced when the LED’s gets weak
or if the tone changes. To change the battery, unscrew the four screws on the bottom plate, bring out the old 9
volt battery (6LR61) and replace it with a new. Then attach the bottom plate with the four screws. Never use FEKTO
without the bottom plate!
If you play loud, always use ear protection. It’s easy to forget, but in the long run not a good idea!
Unplug the input cord when not using the pedal—if powered by a battery—to save the battery (and environment).
Don’t forget to have fun, why not with ear protection and why not a few eect units!

Tone:
Decrease the Tone if the eect unit is too

Eect:
Adjust the Eectcontrol at your taste
(10-12 o clock as a start) and stomp on
theGIMMEswitchto enable the eect loop
(Send/Return).
Volume:
Output level. Start at 10-12
o’clock. Clockwise gives
more.
GIMME:
FEKTO ON/OFF push
switch*. ON is indicated
with a magical, blue LED.
* The push switches in FEKTO is not as stias the
ones you might be used to. Now you can play
barefoot without hurting your little toes.
MORE:
ON/OFF push switch* for the More control.
ON is indicated with a bright orange LED.
NB: MORE can only be activated when the
GIMME is activated (FEKTO/eects=ON).

External DC adapter. Standard 2,1 mm
barrel jack, 5-18 volt regulated DC with
center-pin negative (BOSS standard).
The Himmelstrutz pedals are designed to be used with
straight power cable plugs. Right angle plugs may not
make a secure connection and are not recommended.

Modes:
1: OFF (bypass) mode: High quality Buer, which gives unaected tone also with longer cables.
2: GIMME: Dial the “Eect” knob to set the gain. The “Volume” knob is the master volume.
3: MORE: Dial the “More” knob to set the gain. The“Volume”knob is the master volume.
Note:
All cables and jacks in a True bypass system
will cause losses, especially to be heard
in lack of higher frequencies. These losses
are strongly reduced when using FEKTO in
Buer mode.
True bypass or Buer mode is switchable
inside of FEKTO.
