Transformer & Kit Precautions
• Always use the transformer that came with the kit
to operate it – check the label attached to the lead-in
cable and markings on the transformer to see that they
correspond.
• The transformer is sized appropriately to the loading of the
light kit, and use of an incorrect transformer can damage
the transformer or the light kit.
• Do not try to run more than one kit off a transformer or
try to electrically interconnect two or more transformers.
• The transformer will run warm to touch, always keep it
in a ventilated position, do not cover it with carpet, soft
furnishings, etc.
• If you use an extension cord, use one in the right length for
the purpose. Do not chain several extension cords.
• Always ensure the extension cord connections and
extension leads are not in wet areas.
• If used outdoors, the transformer must be kept under
proper shelter or plugged in a suitable weather protected
power outlet.
LED Lights
• The projector lights are non-replaceable LED type however,
these are manufactured to last a long time.
• If the projector is turned on and there is no light output,
please contact your retailer.
Handling & Installation of Projector
• Handle the light kit with care; excessive shock to
the light kit could damage the front cover or the
components inside.
• Ensure all the fixtures (i.e. the front cap, screws, etc.)
remain in good shape; do not attempt to use any
deformed or damaged fixtures to install the light kit.
• Ensure the cable and transformer are not positioned
where they can be inadvertently damaged by doors,
moving objects, people or animals.
Installation
1. Select a suitable position to install the projector.
2. The ground stake must be inserted all the way into the
ground up to the drain hole position. If the ground is hard,
moisten the ground with water before inserting the ground
stake to avoid damage.
3. Attach the supporting tubes and projector onto the
ground stake.
NOTE: Not recommended for permanent outdoor use. In
severe weather conditions turn OFF the projector at the fixed
main socket outlet.
Operating Instructions
1. Connect the male connector of the lead-in cable with
the female connector of the transformer. Turn the
weatherproof cap clockwise to make the connection
water tight.
2. Plug in to a standard electrical socket and turn the mains
switch ON. The light kit is now ready to use.
3. Adjust the projector head up or down to the desired
position.
Caution
• Disconnect from mains when not in use.
• Always unwind the cord before use.
• Do not expose to direct heat or flame.
• If installed outdoors turn off the lights at the fixed main
socket outlet in rainy or stormy weather.
• Do not operate this LED projector in its packaging.
• Do not use this product if it is damaged.
• This product is intended for use as a Christmas decoration
only. It is not intended for household room illumination.
Maintenance & Cleaning
Wipe down all surfaces using a damp (not wet) cloth. Make
sure that the unit is completely dry before storage or turning
on again.
Disposal and recycling
Electrical products are labelled with the wheelie bin symbol
to indicate that they are to be collected and recycled at
end of life. Users of electrical products should not dispose
of them as unsorted municipal waste but use the separate
collection facilities available. Check with your local authority
for recycling advice. Customer participation is encouraged to
minimise any potential effects on the environment and human
health from the potential presence of hazardous substances.
