USER INSTRUCTIONS

Please read these instructions and retain them for future reference.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Make sure that your smart device is connected to the same WiFi network.
If you do not have a 2.4G Wi network set up, or don’t know if your router is set
up in 2.4G or 5G, press the “Common router setting method” button to recieve
help in setting up a 2.4G WiFi network. The Homeylux app is compatible with
Android 4.0 or higher and iOS 8.1 or higher.

APP HERE
Download HomeyLux App - Scan the QR code on the right to download the HomeyLux App.
You can also search “HomeyLux” in either Apple App Store or Google Play to install the App.
Register a HomeyLux account and sign in the App - You will be prompted to enter your mobile
number or email address to register. The system automatically recognises your country / area.
You can also select your country code. Note: If you use a Mobile number you will be sent a text
message with your conrmation code to complete your account registration.
Add lamp to HomeyLux App - Tap the icon “+” on the top right corner of “Home” page, choose
‘Lighting’ and your device type - Strip Lights (Wi-Fi), then follow the instructions to connect the
LED Strip. The LED Strip needs to be set to ash rapidly. Please follow Step A and B below:
Select a 2.4G WiFi network, enter your password and connect. Make sure your router, mobile and
LED Strip are as close as possible.
After connection, the LED Strip will appear in your list and you can control it from anywhere in the
world. You can also rename the Led Strip and group more LED Strips.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WIRING DIAGRAM
1. Remove all components of the Smart LED Strip from their respective packaging. Unroll the Smart LED Strip
completely before starting with the installation.
2. Connect the AC adapter to the smart controller unit.
3. Connect the Smart LED Strip to the square connection port of the smart controller unit. Be sure that the black
arrow on the Smart LED Strip is pointing at the white arrow on the square connection port of the smart
controller unit (img. 1).
4. Long press the function button (round button) on the smart controller unit (img. 2) until the Smart LED Strip
starts blinking.
5. To connect a remote controller to the Smart LED Strip, rst remove the plastic tab from the battery compartment
of the remote controller. While the Smart LED Strip is blinking, press one of the group buttons (img. 3) on the
remote to pair the remote controller to the Smart LED Strip.
6. To pair the Smart LED Strip to the Homeylux app, select the “Strip Lights (Wi-Fi)” for the Lighting category and
follow the instructions given in the Homeylux app.

IMPORTANT
1. Do not put any metal objects around the WiFi controller. These could block the incomming WiFi signal.
2. Unfold the LED strip to avoid the over heating issues.
3. Ensure that the power supply and WiFi controller are connected correctly.
4. The power supply output voltage should be same as the smart LED strip working voltage.
5. Do not cover the surfaces of power supply, WiFi controller and smart LED strip.
6. Ensure that you have a working 2.4G WiFi connection before powering on the smart LED strip.

FUNCTION METHOD BUTTONS
Pair the remote controller to the
smart LED strip.
Power the remote controller and smart LED strip on.
Press one of the group buttons within 5 seconds.
Unpair the remote controller and
smart LED strip.
Power the remote controller and LED strip off and
on again. Press corresponding group button 5 times
in 5 seconds.
Turn the smart LED strip on. Press the corresponding group button or the on/off
button.
Turn the smart LED strip off. Long press the corresponding group button or the
on/off button.
Adjust the brightness. Press or long press the brightness up or brightness
down buttons.
Adjust the speed.
Note: only works in dynamic
mode.
Press or long press the speed up or speed down
buttons.
Change selected mode. Press the mode up or mode down buttons.
Switch between color changing
mode or CCT mode.
Press the switch button.
With the Homeylux app, the various features of the smart LED strip can be controlled form your smart device.
Remote control: Control the smart LED strip directly from your smart device, while connected to the same

Timer function: Set timers to automatically turn the smart LED strip on or off.
Intelligent scene: Dene multiple scenes, to easily switch between various lighting atmospheres.
Group: Group multiple smart LED strips together to easily control your lighting with a single button press.
Device Sharing: Control the smart LED strip from the Homeylux app on your smart devices or the remote
control.
