Wireless Connection Tips for the Horizon Memory Craft 15000
Information can be found in the Machine Manual on pages 100-102.
Many routers contain a sticker outlining the SSID and Password.
You will need to know these settings to connect the Horizon Memory Craft 15000, iPad®, and PC to your network.
To access the wireless system:
1. Power on Machine.
2. Select Set at Bottom of Screen.
3. Touch the Wireless Icon.
Home Wireless Screen
• Wireless LAN (Local Area Network) must be set to ON to use the wireless capability*.
• Network Name displays the name of the wireless network your machine is
connected to (this says “network name” when not connected to a network).
• IP Address is the address of your sewing machine on your wireless network.
• MAC Address (Media Access Control) is the unique identifying number of the network
hardware interface built into the sewing machine.
• Sewing Machine Name is the name of the MC15000. This defaults to Memory Craft
15000, but can be customized. We will review machine name customization later in
this document.

Network Settings
To access the Network Settings, select the
Settings Icon.
For ease of set up, under IP Address Settings, be sure DHCP is set to “On”.
(This is on by default.)
When off, all network information must be entered manually, including IP
Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway.
When DHCP is on, your router updates the machine with network information
automatically.

Reviewing Wireless LAN Setting Options
The Pop Up Screen offers four options.
We will define these now, and then go through the process of using
them later in this document.
Push Button – This option is for use with routers with WPS (Wireless
Protected Set-Up) feature button – check your router features
documentation.
The button is located on the side of the router and is
labeled WPS or indicated by two arrows.
This is a very easy option if your router supports this
function.
PIN code – This option is for users who want control of all devices
authorized to access their network.
The PIN is registered with the router using the wireless router’s PIN
method set up.
This method is for advanced users.
Search – Use this option to scan for all available wireless networks;
choose network, then key in router password. This is a great option if
you are unsure of your router’s connection features.
Manual – Using this option, the user keys in name of wireless network (SSID) and password.

Renaming the
Horizon Memory Craft 15000
1. You may choose to rename your machine.
2. The default name is Memory Craft 15000.
3. To change, press “Yes” under Sewing Machine Name
Settings.
4. Type the name of your choice in the text box. Then touch
OK to register the name.
5. Take note of the name – it will be used when setting up
iPad®and computer communication.

Using Search
1. Push Search. A Network Search screen appears.
2. Select your Network.
3. The machine may detect other routers; be sure to
identify your correct network.

4. Once you select the netowrk, the Encryption Key
Entry Screen appears. Type in the password for your
network.
5. Press OK.
6. A confirmation screen will appear letting you know
that your machine is now connected to the network.
Press OK.
7. Continue to press OK to exit Settings.

Using Push Button
1. Select Push Button.
2. Check your router, as not every router offers
this option.

3. Push the “WPS” button on your router.
4. Depending on your router, this may be indicated
with “WPS” or the double arrow icon.
5. When the machine has connected, a dialog
box will appear to confirm the connection.
6. Continue to press OK to exit Settings.

1. Select Manual.
2. Be sure to have the name of your router/network/SSID ready.

3. Enter the name of your Router.
4. Press OK.

7. When the machine has connected, a dialog box will appear to confirm the connection.
8. Continue to press OK to exit Settings.
Setting Up Wireless Connection to Machine Using PIN code
1. This option is for Advanced Users.
2. Log into your Router as an
Administrator.
3. Select PIN code on sewing machine.
4. Enter PIN Code displayed on
MC15000 into the router WPS Client PIN
entry.
5. When the machine has connected,
a dialog box will appear to confirm the
connection.
6. Continue to press OK to exit Settings.

Connecting the iPad®to Horizon Memory Craft 15000
1. Be sure the MC15000 is powered On.
2. Turn on the iPad.
3. Select the “Settings” icon.
4. Under “Wi-Fi”, select the same wireless network that the MC15000 is connected to, enter the wireless key, then touch “Join”.
A check mark will appear by your wireless network showing that you are connected.
5. On the iPad, open AcuEdit.
6. In Upper Right Corner, select Target
Sewing Machine.

7. The machine name should appear with a check mark next to it. Verify that the iPad is connecting to the machine,
then Select Done.
8. You may need to use the search feature if you do not see the name of your MC15000 right away. If the iPad still does not see
the machine, please move the MC15000 closer to your wireless router.

Sending a Design from the iPad®to the Horizon Memory Craft 15000
1. On the iPad, open AcuEdit.
2. In AcuEdit App, select Open Design (flower icon in lower left).
3. Choose a design, it will come up on the edit screen.
4. Make sure the MC15000 is On.
5. Select Send/Save Icon.
6. Press Send.
7. The design will appear in the MC15000 Ready to Sew
Screen.
8. The design will send even if machine is in Ordinary
Sewing mode; when the design is delivered, the machine
will switch to embroidery mode.

Connecting PC to Machine using Horizon Link Suite
1. Make sure your PC is connected to the same network as the Horizon Memory Craft 15000.
2. Open Horizon Link Suite.
3. Select the home button in the upper left corner.
4. Select Connection Settings from the Drop Down Menu.
5. Select Wireless LAN, then Search.
6. Select the Sewing Machine Name from list, and press OK.

7. Be sure the machine is powered on, then select Send.
8. The design will transfer.
9. The design will appear in the Ready to Sew screen on the MC15000.
