OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Welcome to the world of HORPA!
We would like to congratulate you on your purchase of a HORPA
timepiece and take this opportunity to thank you for your patronage
and for being a part of the HORPA tribute.
A collaboration of horology and passion, HORPA is a discovery, a
journey, a symbol and a tribute. We believe it will be a reflection and
symbol of yours too.
Your timepiece is equipped with a high precision Japanese quartz
movement with variation of only a few seconds per month at normal
temperature range. The Pearlette shows time in hours, minutes and
seconds along with a date display. To ensure that the timepiece
continues to perform smoothly, please observe the important
operating instructions.

DATE SETTING (POSITION B)
This function enables you to set the date displayed by the watch
rapidly, without changing the time, using only the crown.
How to use:
•Pull the crown out to position B.
•Turn the crown clockwise until the desired date appears in the
window.
•Push the crown back in to the normal position.
It is strongly recommended not to make this correction between 9 pm
and 4 am, as the calendar disc is “engaged” during this period, so the
operation might damage the mechanism. If a month has fewer than 31
days, you will need to set the date manually to the first day of the
following month.
TIME SETTING (POSITION C)
This function enables you to set the time of your watch using the
crown.
When performing this operation, make sure that the calendar
date change is at midnight and not at midday.
How to use:
•Pull the crown out to position C, at the exact moment when the
second hand is at the 12 o’clock position; the hand will then
stop.
•Then turn the crown clockwise and set the hour and minute
hands to the desired time. (Check that AM and PM is set
correctly)
•Push the crown back in to the normal position.
IMPORTANT: Please ensure that the crown is pushed back completely to
the normal position after every operation to prevent moisture and water
seeping into the case.

To set your watch correctly, proceed as follows: –
Pull out the crown to position B.
Turn the crown to the right to advance the date display in steps.
Set the display to yesterday’s date.
Pull out the crown to position C. This will stop the movement. To
set the time accurately to the second, it is best to stop the
movement as the seconds hand passes 12 o’clock position.
Turn the hands forwards until the date display changes to
today’s date. The hands will now be positioned between 12 mid
night and 1 a.m.
Now turn the hands forward till the current time is achieved
making sure that the AM and PM is set correctly.
Push the crown back to the normal position A to start the
movement.
