CREATING/EDITING AND USING
A PRESET PROGRAM TRAINING GUIDE
1From the
Indicators Bar,
verify that the pump
is in the desired
infusion mode
5When you are finished entering the name,
press OK
6Set the relevant infusion parameters based
on the delivery mode
7Press OK -The program will be saved
8To return to the PreSet program page, press OK
3From the toolbar,
press Create New

Up screen, select
PreSet Programs
4Using the keypad,
enter a relevant
name for the new
program (In this
example we will use
SAMPLE)
• To enter the second character that appears on a key, press the key twice
(Press 3 times to enter the third character, etc.)
• To enter a space, press the 0 (zero) key once
• To clear the most recently entered character, press the left arrow key
(at the lower right corner of the keypad)
• To clear all entered characters, press Clr
NOTE: For pumps with a drug library outside of the United States, the name of the clinical care area
will appear on the left side of the top black line
The PreSet Programs function enables you to select an infusion with predefi ned parameters.
Each infusion mode has its own set of up to 10 predefi ned programs. Only the programs set
for the currently selected mode are displayed.
TIPS:
• For the PreSet Programs function to appear in the Start Up screen, the pump needs to
be confi gured to the Allow PreProgram setting.
• Only users with authorization levels of High are able to create/modify preset programs
• PreSet programs for a given infusion mode can be modifi ed only when the pump is set
to that infusion mode

1From the Indicators Bar, verify that the pump is in
the desired infusion mode
2From the Start Up screen, select PreSet
Programs
3From the toolbar of the PreSet programs screen,
press Edit
4From the list, select the program that you want
to update
5Select the box of the parameter that you want
to change. Using the keypad, enter the new
parameter and press OK
6Repeat Step 5, until all relevant parameters are
updated as required
7Review the parameters displayed on the screen
– Verify that the parameters reflect the correct
treatment according to the prescription
8Press OK – The program is saved
1From the Indicators Bar, verify that the pump
is in the desired infusion mode
2From the Start Up screen, select PreSet
Programs
3From the toolbar of the PreSet programs screen,
press Edit
4From the list, select the program that you want
to delete
5From the toolbar, press Delete
6From the toolbar of the Attention screen,
press OK – The program is deleted
1From the Start Up screen, select PreSet Program
• If no preset infusion has been programmed
for the current infusion mode, a blank screen
appears
2Select the row of the desired program
• To display additional programs, press Next
3Review the parameters that are displayed
• Verify that the parameters reflect the correct
treatment according to the prescription
4Press OK
5From the Start screen, press Start
