Pilbara Warranty - Version 1

Inspired by the Pilbara region of Western Australia, the Pilbara Series was
intended to be a robust wristwatch which is as at home in the rugged
Pilbara landscape as it is in any boardroom – a true everyday watch, with
subtle styling, and great specs.

The Pilbara Series watches are fitted with the Miyota 9039, self-winding/automatic,
movement
Important– the Pilbara series watches have screw down crowns in order to achieve
200m water resistance.
The crown must be unscrewed in order to set the time.
When screwing the crown back in, apply light pressure towards the case to engage
the thread, and then screw in. The crown must be fully screwed in for watch to be
water resistant.
Once unscrewed the movement has 2 positions, as shown in the image below.
1) Unscrewed – when in this position, the
crown can be rotated clockwise to
manually wind the movement.
2) Fully pulled out - This position allows for
the time to be set. Rotate crown clockwise
or counter-clockwise to move hands to
desired location. When the movement is in
this position, the seconds hand will stop
moving which allows for more accurate
time setting when desired.

Straps, glass or batteries
Internal or external damage from excessive wear, improper use or mishandling.
Damage resulting from service provided from an unauthorised service agent
Damage resulting from normal wear and tear, impact, negligence, including but
not limited to chips in the sapphire, scratches, or wearing away of strap or
watch finishes, lume, or coatings.
Water damage resulting from improper use, such as exceeding watch
maximum depth rating, or failure to screw-down crown.
We reserve the right to refuse warranty claims if our inspections reveals
unauthorised service, improper use, or claims against water damage if our
pressure testing indicate that seals are in working order.
We stand behind our products; your Houtman Watch timepiece watch is
internationally warranted by HoutmanWatch.com.
Warranty Period:
Mechanical watches (e.g. Pilbara Series): 2 years from date of shipping.
This warranty covers manufacturing and material defects, it does not cover:
