collector’s instruments made in boutique
shops, one at a time, to achieve the extreme
levels of precision desired by today’s pro player.
But our Ibanez luthiers in Japan are some of the very few
–some even say the only–guitar and bass makers that can
achieve that consistent level of crasmanship in instru-
ments for the working player. So it’s not surprising that
artists and music shops with a pro clientele have clamored
for more Japanese-made models. And because we’re
