Posizionamento e collegamento

umido.
2. Nonostruirelegriglieposterioridiventilazione:compressore
e condensatore emettono calore e richiedono una buona
aerazioneperfunzionarebeneecontenereiconsumielettrici.
3. Lasciareunadistanzadialmeno10cmtralapartesuperiore

Avvio e utilizzo
Avviare l’apparecchio
!Prima di avviare l’apparecchio, seguire le istruzioni
sull’installazione (vedi Installazione).
!Primadicollegarel’apparecchiopulirebeneivaniegliaccessori
conacquatiepidaebicarbonato.
!Leversionielettronichesonoprovvistediuncontrollo
salvamotorechefaavviareilcompressoresolodopocirca
8minutidall’accensione.Questoaccadeanchedopoogni
interruzionedell’alimentazioneelettrica,volontariaoinvolontaria
(blackout).
1. Inserirelaspinanellapresaeaccertarsichesiaccendala
lampadadiilluminazioneinterna.
2. Ruotare la manopola per LA REGOLAZIONE DELLA
TEMPERATURAsulla fascia ECO. Dopo qualche ora sarà
possibileinserirealimentinelfrigorifero

Contenitore FLEXI USE BOX*
È il nuovo contenitore che offre la massima flessibilità per la
conservazioneottimaledeicibi.
Se collocato nella parte “bassa” del vano frigo, sopra la
verduriera,(posizioneA2) diventa CHILLER,  garantendo una
temperaturaprossimaagli0°C,idealeper:
-laconservazionedicarne,pesceetuttiglialimentidelicati;
-ilraffreddamentorapidodicibicaldi;
-loscongelamentoabassatemperatura(inibiscelaproliferazione
dimicrorganismi).
Latemperatura0°Csiottieneincondizioninormative,quandola
temperaturadelvanofrigoèall’incircadi4°C.
Diminuendo la temperatura del frigo si abbassa anche la
temperaturadelvanoCHILLER.
Secollocatonellaparte“superiore”delvanofrigo(posizioneA1)
èidoneoallaconservazionedifruttaeverdura,offrendopertanto
lapossibilitàdiavereunasecondaverduriera.
Indicatore TEMPERATURA*:perindividuarelazonapiùfredda
delfrigorifero.
1. Controllare che sull’indicatore risulti ben evidente OK (vedi
figura).
  
2. Se non compare la scritta OK significa che la temperatura
è troppo elevata: regolare la manopola FUNZIONAMENTO
FRIGORIFEROsu una posizione più alta(più freddo) e
attenderecirca10hfinchélatemperaturasisiastabilizzata.
3. Controllarenuovamentel’indicatore:senecessario,procedere
conuna nuova regolazione. Se sisono introdotte grosse
quantitàdialimentiosièapertafrequentementelaportadel
frigorifero,ènormalechel’indicatorenonsegniOK.Attendere
almeno10hprimadiregolarelamanopolaFUNZIONAMENTO
FRIGORIFEROsuunaposizionepiùalta.
Utilizzare al meglio il congelatore
• Nonricongelare alimenti che stanno per scongelare o
scongelati;tali alimenti devono esserecotti per essere
consumati(entro24ore).
• Glialimenti freschida congelare non devono essereposti
a contatto con quelli già congelati; vanno sistemati nel
vanoinferiore CONGELAMENTO e CONSERVAZIONE che
garantiscelamigliorevelocitàdicongelamento
.•Nonmetterenelcongelatorebottigliedivetrocontenentiliquidi,
tappateochiuseermeticamente,perchépotrebberorompersi.
• Laquantitàmassimagiornalieradialimentida congelare è
indicatasullatarghettacaratteristiche,postanelvanofrigorifero
inbassoasinistra(esempio:2Kg/24h)
!Per evitare di ostacolare la circolazione dell’aria all’interno
delcongelatore,si raccomanda di non ostruirecon cibi o
contenitoriiforidiareazione.
!Duranteilcongelamentoevitarediaprirelaporta.
!In casodiinterruzionedi correnteodi guasto,nonaprirela
portadelcongelatore:inquestomodocongelatiesurgelatisi
conserverannosenzaalterazionipercirca12-18ore.
!Alfinediottenereunospaziomaggiorenelcongelatore,potete
togliere gli eventuali cassetti  (e flap ove presenti) dalle
lorosedi,sistemandoglialimenti direttamente sui ripiani in
dotazione.

Seunooentrambiiliquidisisonosciolti,questaèun’indicazione
diaumentodellatemperaturanelcongelatore.
Ancheloscioglimentoparzialediunodeidueliquidi,puòessere
indicativodiunaumentoanomalodellatemperaturainterna
SesiscioglieilliquidoA1ilcibodeveessereconsumatoinuna
settimana.
SesiscioglieilliquidoA2ilcibodeveesserebuttatovia.
• Non lasciare aperta la porta per un lungo periodo di tempo.
Chiudere correttamente la porta del congelatore in quanto il
rivelatoreblackoutsensorpuòdarel’allarmesbagliato.
Caricareoscaricareilcongelatoreilpiùvelocementepossibile
perevitareinterventidelrivelatoreblackoutsensor.
Lasciandolaportaapertaperunlungoperiododitempoiliquidi
sipossonoscioglieresulrivelatoreblackoutsensor,mailcibo
nelcongelatorepuòessereancorainbuonecondizioni.
•Controllare lo stato dei liquidisolo in presenza  dienergia
elettricaIlcongelatoreèingradodimantenereicibicongelati
correttamenteperxxore(asecondadellatemperaturaesterna)in
casodiblack-out.Seilfrigoriferoèincondizionidiblack-outperun
periodopiùbreve,siconsigliadinonaprireleporteeaspettare.
• Disporre il cibo caldo sul retro del vano congelatore.
Ilcibocaldochesitrovavicinoalrilevatorediblackoutsensor
puòsciogliereiliquidiecausareinterventiintempestivi.
Manutenzione e cura
Escludere la corrente elettrica
Durantei lavoridipuliziaemanutenzioneènecessarioisolare
l’apparecchiodallaretedialimentazionestaccandolaspinadalla
presa. Nonè sufficienteportarela manopolaperlaregolazione
dellatemperaturasullaposizione (apparecchiospento)per
eliminareognicontattoelettrico.
Pulire l’apparecchio
• Lepartiesterne, le parti interne ele guarnizioni in gomma
possonoesserepuliteconunaspugnettaimbevutadiacqua
tiepidaebicarbonatodisodioosapone neutro.Nonusare
solventi,abrasivi,candegginaoammoniaca.
• Gliaccessoriestraibilipossonoesseremessiabagnoinacqua
caldaesaponeodetersivoperpiatti.Sciacquarlieasciugarli
concura.
• Ilretrodell’apparecchiotendeacoprirsidipolvere,chepuò
essereeliminatautilizzandocondelicatezza,dopoaverspento
l’apparecchioestaccatolapresadicorrente,labocchettalunga
dell’aspirapolvere,impostatosuunapotenzamedia.
Evitare muffe e cattivi odori
• L’apparecchioè fabbricato con materiali igienici che non
trasmettono odori. Per mantenere questa caratteristica è
necessariocheicibivenganosempreprotettiechiusibene.
Ciòeviteràanchelaformazionedimacchie.
• Nel caso si voglia spegnere l’apparecchio per un lungo
periodo,pulirel’internoelasciareleporteaperte

L’illuminazioneled,grazieallapotenteluce
diffusa,permetteunachiaravisionediognialimento.
Nelcasosianecessariosostituirelaluceled,rivolgersialservizio
diAssistenzaTecnica.
Sostituire la lampadina
Persostituire la lampadina di illuminazione delvano frigorifero,
staccarela spina dalla presa di corrente. Seguire le istruzioni
riportatequisotto.Accedereallalampadatogliendolaprotezione
comeindicatoinfigura.Sostituirlaconunadipotenzaanalogaa
quellaindicatasullaprotezione.

!L’apparecchioèstatoprogettatoecostruitoinconformitàalle

Questeavvertenzesonoforniteperragionidisicurezzaedevono
essereletteattentamente.

• L’apparecchioè stato concepito per un uso di tiponon
professionaleall’internodell’abitazione.

• L’apparecchio non va installato all’aperto, nemmeno se lo

• Nontoccare le partiinterne raffreddanti: c’è pericolo di

• Nonmettereinboccacubettiappenaestrattidalcongelatore.
• Questoapparecchionon è da intendersi adattoall’uso da
partedipersone(inclusobambini)conridottecapacitàfisiche,
sensorialiomentali,oprive diesperienzaeconoscenza,a
menochesianostatesupervisionateoistruiteriguardoall’uso
dell’apparecchiodauna persona responsabile della loro
sicurezza. I bambini dovrebbero essere supervisionati per

Smaltimento
• Smaltimentodelmaterialediimballaggio:attenersiallenorme

Risparmiare e rispettare l’ambiente
• Installarel’apparecchioinunambientefrescoebenaerato,
proteggerlodall’esposizionedirettaairaggisolari,nondisporlo
vicinoafontidicalore.
• Perintrodurre o estrarre gli alimenti,aprire le porte
dell’apparecchioilpiùbrevementepossibile.
 Ogniapertura delle porte causa un notevole dispendio di
energia.
• Nonriempirecontroppialimentil’apparecchio:
 perunabuonaconservazione,ilfreddodevepotercircolare
liberamente.Sesiimpediscelacircolazione,ilcompressore
lavoreràcontinuamente.
• Nonintrodurre alimenti caldi:alzerebbero la temperatura
internacostringendoilcompressoreaungrossolavoro,con
grandesprecodienergiaelettrica.
• Sbrinarel’apparecchioqualorasiformassedelghiaccio(vedi
Manutenzione);unospessostratodighiacciorendepiùdifficile
lacessionedifreddoaglialimentiefaaumentareilconsumo
dienergia.
Anomalie e rimedi
Puòaccaderechel’apparecchiononfunzioni.Primaditelefonare
all’Assistenza(vediAssistenza),controllarechenonsitrattidiun
problemafacilmenterisolvibileaiutandosiconilseguenteelenco.
La lampada di illuminazione interna non si accende.
• Laspina non è inserita nella presa della corrente o non
abbastanzadafarecontatto,oppureincasanonc’ècorrente.
• LamanopolaperLAREGOLAZIONEDELLATEMPERATURA
nonèinposizionecorretta.
Il motore non parte.
• L’apparecchioèdotatodiuncontrollosalvamotore(vediAvvio
eUtilizzo).
Il frigorifero e il congelatore raffreddano poco.
• Leportenonchiudonobeneoleguarnizionisonorovinate.
• Leportevengonoapertemoltospesso.
• Ilfrigoriferooilcongelatoresonostatiriempitieccessivamente.
Nel frigorifero gli alimenti si gelano.
• LamanopolaperlaLAREGOLAZIONEDELLATEMPERATURA

Il motore funziona di continuo.
• Laportanonèbenchiusaovieneapertadicontinuo.
• Latemperaturadell’ambienteesternoèmoltoalta.
L’apparecchio emette molto rumore.

La temperatura di alcune parti esterne del frigorifero è

Positioning and connection
Positioning
1. Placetheapplianceinawell-ventilatedhumidity-freeroom.
2. Do notobstruct therear fan grills.The compressor and
condensergiveoffheatandrequiregoodventilationtooperate
correctlyandsaveenergy.
3. Leaveaspaceofatleast10cmbetweenthetoppartofthe
applianceandanyfurnitureaboveit,andatleast5cmbetween
thesidesandanyfurniture/sidewalls.
4. Placethedevicefarfromheatsources(directsunlight,electric
kitchenetc.)

1. Installtheapplianceonalevelandrigidfloor.
2. Ifthefloorisnotperfectlyhorizontal,adjusttherefrigeratorby
tighteningorlooseningthefrontfeet.
Electrical connections
Afterthe appliance has been transported, carefully place it
verticallyandwait at least 3hoursbeforeconnectingit to the
electricitymains.Beforeinsertingtheplugintotheelectricalsocket
ensurethefollowing:
• Theapplianceisearthedandtheplugiscompliantwiththelaw.
• Thesocketcanwithstandthemaximumpoweroftheappliance,
• Thevoltagemustbeintherangebetweenthevaluesindicated
onthedataplatelocatedonthebottomleftside(e.g.220-
240V).
• Thesocketis compatible with the plugof the appliance. If
thesocketisincompatiblewiththeplug,askanauthorised
techniciantoreplaceit(see Assistance).Donotuseextension
cordsormultiplesockets.
!Oncetheappliancehasbeeninstalled,thepowersupplycable

Starting the appliance
! Before starting the appliance, follow the installation
instructions (see Installation).
!Beforeconnectingtheappliance,cleanthecompartmentsand
accessorieswellwithlukewarmwaterandbicarbonate.
!Electronicversionsareprovidedwithamotorprotectionswitch
thatpowersonthecompressoronlyalmost8minutesafterthe
starting.Thecompressoralsostartseachtimethepowersupply
iscutoffwhethervoluntarilyorinvoluntarily(blackout).
1. Inserttheplugintothesocketandmakesurethattheinside
lightturnson.
2. TurntheknobtosetthetemperatureontherangeECO.After

verycloseto0°C,whichisidealto:

Youcangetthe0°Ctemperature,instandardconditions,when

BydecreasingthefridgetemperatureyoudecreasetheCHILLER
compartmenttemperaturetoo.
Ifyouputitinthe“upper”partofthefridgecompartment(A1),it
willbesuitabletostorefruitandvegetables,thusgivingyouthe
possibilitytohaveasecondcrisperbox.
Using the freezer to its full potential
• Donotre-freezefoodthatisdefrostingorthathasalreadybeen
defrosted.Thesefoodsmustbecookedandeaten(within24
hours).
• Freshfoodforfreezingshouldnotbeplacedincontactwiththe
onealreadyfrozen;itshouldbeplacedinthelowerFREEZER
andSTORAGEcompartmentthatprovidesthebestfreezing
rate.
• Donotplaceglassbottleswhichcontainliquids,andwhicharecorked
orhermeticallysealedinthefreezerbecausetheycouldbreak.
• The maximum quantity of foodthat may be frozen daily is
indicated on the plate containing the technical properties
locatedonthebottomleftsideoftherefrigeratorcompartment
(forexample:2Kg/24h).
! To avoid blocking the air circulation inside the freezer
compartment,it is advisable not toobstruct the ventilation
holeswithfoodorcontainers.
!Donotopenthedoorduringfreezing.
!Ifthereisapowercutormalfunction,donotopenthefreezer

• Donotleavethedooropenforalongperiodoftime.Close
thedoorofthefreezersincetheblackoutsensordetectorcan
givethewrongalarm.Loadorunloadthefreezerasquickly
aspossibletoavoidinterventions of the black-out detector
sensor.Leavingthedooropenforalongperiodoftime,the
liquidcandissolveontheblack-outdetectorsensor,butthe
foodinthefreezercanbestillingoodcondition.
• Checkthestateoftheliquidonlyinthepresenceofelectricity.
Thefreezerisabletomaintainthefrozenfoodproperlyforxx
hours(dependingontheoutsidetemperature)inthecaseof
black-out.Iftherefrigeratorisinaconditionofblack-outfora

Switching the appliance off
Duringcleaningandmaintenanceitisnecessarytodisconnect

Cleaning the appliance

Respecting and conserving the
environment
• Installtheapplianceinafreshandwell-ventilatedroom.Ensure
thatitisprotectedfromdirectsunlightanddonotplaceitnear
heatsources.
• Trytoavoidkeepingthedooropenforlongperiodsoropening
thedoortoofrequentlyinordertoconserveenergy.
• Do not fill the appliance with too much food: cold air must

Troubleshooting
Iftheappliancedoesnotwork,beforecallingforAssistance(see
Assistance),checkforasolutionfromthefollowinglist.
The internal light does not illuminate.
• Theplughasnotbeeninsertedintotheelectricalsocket,ornot
farenoughtomakecontact,orthereisnopowerinthehouse.
• TheTEMPERATUREADJUSTMENTknobisnotinthecorrect
position.
The motor does not start.
• Theappliancecomeswithamotorprotectioncontrol(see Start-
up and use).
The refrigerator and the freezer do not cool well.
• Thedoorsdonotcloseproperlyorthesealsaredamaged.
• Thedoorsareopenedtoofrequently.
• Therefrigeratororthefreezerhavebeenover-filled.
The food inside the refrigerator is beginning to freeze.
• TheTEMPERATUREADJUSTMENTknobisnotinthecorrect
position.
The motor runs continuously.
• Thedoorisnotclosedproperlyoriscontinuouslyopened.
• Theoutsideambienttemperatureisveryhigh.
The appliance makes a lot of noise.
• Theappliancehasnotbeeninstalledonalevelsurface(see
Installation).
• Theappliancehasbeeninstalledbetweencabinetsthatvibrate
andmakenoise.
• Theinternalrefrigerantmakesaslightnoiseevenwhenthe
compressorisoff.Thisisnotadefect,itisnormal.
Some of the external parts of the refrigerator become hot.
• Theseraisedtemperaturesarenecessaryinordertoavoidthe
formationofcondensationoncertainpartsoftheproduct.
