IKTAM installations must be done by at least two people.
If an IKTAM falls, it can cause severe or fatal damage. To prevent it from
falling, the IKTAM must be installed with the hanging system provided.
Make sure the supplied anchors and screws are suitable for your type of wall.
When in doubt, seek professional advice. Read and follow each step of the
instructions carefully.
We recommend using a hand truck or utility dolly to transport the IKTAM with
the help of at least another person.
We suggest saving the various packaging components in case you need to
return or relocate your IKTAM.
Be sure to remove the packaging carefully. Do not use razors or other sharp
tools that could damage the IKTAM. To avoid damage to the corners, do not
remove the sculpture’s protective wrap until it is in place.
 Ifitisnecessarytotemporarilyrestthesculptureontheoor,protectitwith
the gaskets included. Do not let it stand vertically on the oor.

5HANGING INSTRUCTIONS
a) Hold the base at the center of the place where the IKTAM will be hung.
b) Use the level to verify that the base is completely straight.
c) Take the pencil and, using the base as a guide, mark on the wall where
the screws will be placed later (the small circles in the base).
If the wall is made of drywall
d) Using the drill and the 3/8” bit, perforate the wall deep enough so that
the corresponding anchors can be installed (approximately 2”).
e) Insert the expansive anchors in the perforations with the help of a
hammer.
f) Place the base on the anchors and secure with the 1/4” screws for drywall.
Use the level to check that the base is in the correct position.
If the wall is made of brick or concrete
g) Using the drill and the 5/16” bit, perforate the wall deep enough so that
the corresponding anchors can be installed (approximately 2 1/2”).
h) Insert the expansive anchors in the perforations with the help of a
hammer.
i) Place the base on the anchors and secure with the 1/4” screws for
concrete. Use the level to check that the base is in the correct position.

a) Attach the IKTAM to the base making sure that the “hooks” of the
hanging system are held by the “tubes” of the base. When doing this, try
to keep the sculpture from touching the wall to avoid any damage to
the paint.
b) Once the IKTAM is properly in place, make sure it does not move.
Relocating IKTAMS:
The IKTAM should be picked up and not dragged. Whenever possible,
hold it from the middle of its sides. Avoid grabbing it from its corners.

If you want to place the IKTAM in the other position:
a) With the help of more people, detach the IKTAM from the wall and
 placeitonaatsurfaceprotectedbytheincludedgaskets.
b) Using the screwdriver, unscrew the hanging system.
c) Change the position of the hanging system and screw it in the desired
position.

To ensure that you receive maximum pleasure from your new IKTAM, it is
very important for you to read these instructions.
Please note that the quality guarantee of IKTAM is only valid when these
maintenance instructions have been followed carefully.
METAL SCULPTURE
Care and maintenance
Dust regularly. Clean surface with a damp cloth and then lightly polish with
 asoftdrycloth(microberclothsareidealforbothpurposes).Ifanystains
or marks persist, add some window cleaning solution.
To prolong the durability of the paint, we recommend removing excess
water from rain events or other factors with a soft, dry cloth.
Aside from following these simple regular cleaning guidelines, our IKTAMS
require little ongoing maintenance.
