The iluminageTOUCH is an over-the-
counter device intended for the removal
of unwanted hair for men and women.
iluminageTOUCH is also intended for
permanent reduction in hair growth
following an initial treatment regimen
with or without maintenance when
measured at 6, 9 and 12 months.

become pregnant (conceiving) or breast-
feeding. The iluminageTOUCH has not
been tested on pregnant or breast-feeding
women. Hormonal changes could increase
skin sensitivity and the risk of skin injury.

products. If you are not certain whether you
are tanned or sunburned it is recommended
you do a skin sensitivity test (see page 17)
and wait 24 hours.
DO NOT use the iluminageTOUCH on
areas that have been sunburned as this can
make the skin more susceptible to injury.
DO NOT use directly on parts of your skin
where you have tattoos, or dark brown
or black spots (such as large freckles,
birthmarks or moles). These areas may
absorb too much light energy which can
injure the skin.
DO NOT use on the ears, neck, nipples,
genitalia or around the anus. These areas
may have more sensitive skin and using
the iluminageTOUCH there may cause
serious injury.
DO NOT use on or around the eyes,
eyebrows or eyelashes. Doing so can cause
permanent eye damage.
DO NOT use on a man's face, jaw or neck.
Using the iluminageTOUCH in these areas
may result in skin injury.
DO NOT use the iluminageTOUCH on
any area where you may want the hair to
grow back. The hair removal results may

retinoids.
• Undergoing radiation or chemo-therapy
treatments.
These conditions can make the skin more
sensitive to light and more susceptible to
injury. Consult your doctor.
DO NOT use if you have an active skin
condition in the treatment area including
acne, sores, psoriasis, eczema, sunburns,
herpes simplex, open wounds or a rash.

Use of the iluminageTOUCH system has not
been tested in areas with skin cancer, and,
therefore, the eects are unknown.
DO NOT hold the light output window
still over one spot on the skin and flash
multiple light pulses on the skin. Doing so
may generate too much heat, which can
injure the skin.
DO NOT cover any ventilation slots during
use, as they help to keep the device cool
during operation. Covering the ventilation
slots could result in the device overheating.
DO NOT get the iluminageTOUCH damp
or wet.
DO NOT use the iluminageTOUCH while
bathing or put it next to a bathtub or sink.
DO NOT operate the iluminageTOUCH
with a damaged plug or cable.
DO NOT use the iluminageTOUCH if any
parts show signs of damage.
DO NOT open the outer covers of the
iluminageTOUCH or touch any inner parts.
DO NOT attempt to repair your
iluminageTOUCH device.
ALWAYS keep the cable away from heated
surfaces. Failure to follow these precautions
can cause electrocution, electric shock or
result in injury.
DO NOT use the iluminageTOUCH in an
environment where a spark could cause an
explosion, such as near a gas source.
