insulated electrical cables while the electrical power supply is enabled. This
observaon is parcularly true when the product is connected to 115V or 230V
mains voltage.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced. Contact qualied personnel or
the Service Centre.
WARNING! Do not store inside the product or in the vicinity of its electrical
parts: ammable substance-based spray cans, explosive materials, electrical
equipment, live animals.
WARNING! The product cannot be used by children under 8 years of age.
The product can be used by children over 8 years of age and by people with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilies, or lack of experience or knowledge, provided
they are supervised or aer they have received instrucons on safe use of the
product and understanding of the dangers inherent in it.
Children should not play with the product. Cleaning and maintenance meant to be
performed by the user and must not be performed by unsupervised children.

WARNING! Install the product in a dry place that’s sheltered against water
spray. The unit’s electrical components must NOT be exposed to rainfall and/or
sprays of water.
WARNING! Install the product away from gas or LPG cylinders.
WARNING! The product must be installed in an area accessible for any
maintenance. The housing space of live parts and of the condensing unit/compressor
must only be opened voluntarily and not directly accessible.
WARNING! The compressor/condensaon unit installaon area must be
made with a material resistant to the needle-ame test required by standard EN
603335-1 or else be more than 5 cm from electrical and/or electronic components.
WARNING! The product must be protected against indirect contact in
accordance with the "Heavy Current Regulaons".
WARNING! In case of power connecon from AC mains, to avoid the risk
of serious personal injury, ensure that it is equipped with cut-o devices (switches)
which permit total disconnecon of the product current and protecve devices
which automacally intervene in the event of malfuncon.
WARNING! Never touch any damaged or non-insulated electrical cables
while the electrical power supply is enabled. This observaon is parcularly true
when the product is connected to 115Volt or 230Volt.
WARNING! The product must be installed horizontally and the compressor
must always be installed with its rubber feet resng downward.

WARNING! This product must not be used outdoors and must not be placed
in damp environments with the presence of water jets.
It must be at least 5cm from the side walls.
WARNING! This product must be supplied only with cold water approved
for human consumpon (drinking water). The operang pressure shall be between
100 KPa (1bar) and 600 KPa (6bar).
WARNING! Never turn o the water supply tap while the product is in
operaon.
WARNING! Before connecng the product to the power supply, make sure
that the mains voltage corresponds to that indicated on the data plate.
WARNING! Make sure that the product is connected to an eecve
grounding system.
WARNING! Check that the electrical ow rate of the system is adequate for
the maximum power of the product indicated on the data plate.
WARNING! For a correct and safe installaon of the product, it is essenal to
prepare a special socket controlled by an omnipolar switch with an opening distance
of the contacts that is equal to or greater than 3mm, in compliance with current
naonal safety standards, equipped with fuses, with associated dierenal and
posioned in such a way as to be easily accessible.
WARNING! It is advisable to unroll the enre length of the power cable,
making sure it does not get crushed in any way.

The product’s proper disposal is essenal to prevenng negave consequences for
the environment and human health.
The symbol on the product, the packaging and/or the accompanying
documentaon indicates that the product should not be disposed of as household
waste. The product must be taken to an authorized collecon centre for the
recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. The product must be disposed of
in compliance with the current local environmental regulaons regarding waste
disposal.
For more informaon regarding the disposal, recycling and reuse of the product,
please contact your local authories, your local waste collecon service or the
retailer/distributor from whom the product was purchased.
Packaging is manufactured from recyclable material. It bears the

2. Usage instrucons
The climate class is indicated on the data plate inside the product itself.
SN or extended temperate class (ambient temperature from 10°C to 32°C)
Nor temperate class (ambient temperature from 16°C to 32°C)
ST or subtropical class (ambient temperature from 16°C to 38°C)
Tor tropical class (ambient temperature from 16°C to 43°C)
2.1 Usage recommendaons
• Frequent opening of the product will result in greater power consumpon.
• Ensuring adequate venlaon for the compressor and the condensing unit will
signicantly reduce power consumpon.
• Never obstruct the ice maker’s venlaon system.
• To keep the surface of the door in good condions and intact, make sure that it
is always clean and dry.
• The compressor can operate up to an angle of 30°, while greater angles can
cause permanent damage to the compressor.
WARNING! Do not use the ice cube container to cool or conserve food
or drinks as these operaons could clog the drain, resulng in the container itself
becoming lled, resulng in water leakage.
WARNING! Any use of the product other than for ice making using cold
drinking water is to be considered improper.

2.2 “White” Ice Maker
The ice maker has a producon capacity of about
8 kg of ice per day. The technology used is called
"pushed,” meaning water is frozen into cubes in a
special tray and then is "pushed" out of the tray. The
ice cubes then drop into the collecon container.
The cube produced is white with a special half-moon
shape (see photo).
An ice making cycle is 8 cubes.
To acvate the ice maker, move the stop lever to the ON posion. (see gure).
The ice maker will begin its producon cycle and, once the ice collecon tray is full,
simply raise the stop lever to the “OFF” posion (see
gure) to stop the producon cycle, maintaining the
ice already formed.
3. Maintenance
WARNING! Perform maintenance only when
the product is switched o and disconnected from power sources.
Isotherm Ice Maker products are equipped with closed cooling systems, which do not
require maintenance or refrigerant rells.
3.1 Defrosng
As the internal compartment is refrigerated, ice and frost will inevitably form upon it.
The humidity in the air, the temperature and the number of mes the door is opened
will have a signicant impact on frost formaon.
Always defrost the product when the frost in the internal compartment forms a
thickness of 3-4 mm or more.
Switch o the product by pressing the power buon.
Do not use sharp objects to remove ice and frost from the product, as this could
damage the compartment, resulng in refrigerant leaks.

Only turn the product back on once it has been defrosted, cleaned and thoroughly
dried. Some models are equipped with a hole at the base of the inside drawer to
facilitate condensate discharge. A towel can be placed at the base of the product
during the defrosng procedure in order to facilitate water collecon.
3.2 Seasonal Maintenance
Seasonal maintenance is performed:
1st With cleaning of the condensing unit. In parcular, it is necessary to brush/
vacuum out all the dust that has accumulated. This can be done using a so brush
and a vacuum cleaner.
2nd With cleaning of the internal compartment. In parcular, wash with warm water
and mild soap, drying any water/condensaon that may be encountered.
3.3 Maintenance for Long Periods of Inacvity
In the winter, the product must be stored inside the vehicle, as it will not work
at temperatures near or below 0°C. In order to prevent damage to the electrical/
mechanical components and/or the formaon of mould when shung o the
product for extended periods of me, it is necessary to wait for the product to
defrost completely and to eliminate any condensaon that may have formed,
performing the following acvies:
1 Close the inlet water tap or turn o the autoclave.
2 Wait for the product to complete an ice making cycle.
3 Switch o the product and disconnect the power supply.
4 Open the door and wait for the product to reach room temperature. Dry all
condensaon inside.
5 The product is now ready for use.

4.1 Installaon
Isotherm products have been designed and constructed exclusively for recessed
installaon.
WARNING! The product must be installed horizontally and the compressor
must always be installed with its rubber feet resng downward.
The compressor is capable of funconing at angles of up to 30°.
WARNING! The compressor can become damaged with any higher
inclinaons.
Secure the product so that it cannot p/slide in the event of rough seas or in the case
of sudden vehicle movement. The product should be anchored by at least 2 fastening
points, in accordance with the provisions of the EN 60335-2-24 standard.
The product should be secured using mounng anges equipped with special holes
(see gure below).
Where it is not possible to use the mounng anges, secure the ice maker so that it
cannot p/slide forward.
