WARNING! Disconnect the product from the mains power supply
immediately in the event of any malfuncon. Never touch any damaged or non-
insulated electrical cables while the electrical power supply is enabled. This
observaon is parcularly true when the product is connected to 115V or 230V
mains voltage.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced. Contact qualied personnel or
the Service Centre.
WARNING! Do not store inside the product or in the vicinity of its electrical
parts: ammable substance-based spray cans, explosive materials, electrical
equipment, live animals.
WARNING! The product cannot be used by children under 8 years of age.
The product can be used by children over 8 years of age and by people with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilies, or lack of experience or knowledge, provided
they are supervised or aer they have received instrucons on safe use of the
product and understanding of the dangers inherent in it.
Children should not play with the product. Cleaning and maintenance meant to be
performed by the user and must not be performed by unsupervised children.
WARNING! Do not use plugs and switches if you have wet hands or feet.
WARNING! Do not use the ice cube container to cool or conserve food
or drinks as these operaons could clog the drain, resulng in the container itself
becoming lled, resulng in water leakage.

WARNING! Install the product in a dry place that’s sheltered against water
spray. The unit’s electrical components must NOT be exposed to rainfall and/or
sprays of water.
WARNING! Install the product away from gas or LPG cylinders.
WARNING! The product must be installed in an area accessible for any
maintenance. The housing space of live parts and of the condensing unit/compressor
must only be opened voluntarily and not directly accessible.
WARNING! The compressor/condensaon unit installaon area must be
made with a material resistant to the needle-ame test required by standard EN
603335-1 or else be more than 5 cm from electrical and/or electronic components.
WARNING! The product must be protected against indirect contact in
accordance with the "Heavy Current Regulaons".
WARNING! In case of power connecon from AC mains, to avoid the risk
of serious personal injury, ensure that it is equipped with cut-o devices (switches)
which permit total disconnecon of the product current and protecve devices
which automacally intervene in the event of malfuncon.
WARNING! Never touch any damaged or non-insulated electrical cables
while the electrical power supply is enabled. This observaon is parcularly true
when the product is connected to 115Volt or 230Volt.
WARNING! The product must be installed horizontally and the compressor
must always be installed with its rubber feet resng downward.

WARNING! This product must not be used outdoors and must not be placed
in damp environments with the presence of water jets.
It must be at least 5cm from the side walls.
WARNING! This product must be supplied only with cold water approved
for human consumpon (drinking water). The operang pressure shall be between
100 KPa (1bar) and 600 KPa (6bar).
WARNING! Never turn o the water supply tap while the product is in
operaon.
WARNING! Before connecng the product to the power supply, make sure
that the mains voltage corresponds to that indicated on the data plate.
WARNING! Make sure that the product is connected to an eecve
grounding system.
WARNING! Check that the electrical ow rate of the system is adequate for
the maximum power of the product indicated on the data plate.
WARNING! For a correct and safe installaon of the product, it is essenal to
prepare a special socket controlled by an omnipolar switch with an opening distance
of the contacts that is equal to or greater than 3mm, in compliance with current
naonal safety standards, equipped with fuses, with associated dierenal and
posioned in such a way as to be easily accessible.
WARNING! It is advisable to unroll the enre length of the power cable,
making sure it does not get crushed in any way.

Obligaon to read instrucons
The presence of this symbol mandates reading of instrucons before
pung the product into operaon.
Obligaon to disconnect
The presence of this symbol mandates immediate disconnecon of the
product from the mains in case of failures.
Obligaon to wear gloves
The presence of this symbol mandates each operator wear suitable
protecve gloves.

This product complies with the Direcve 2002/96/EC regarding waste electrical and
electronic equipment (WEEE).
The product’s proper disposal is essenal to prevenng negave consequences for
the environment and human health.
The symbol on the product, the packaging and/or the accompanying
documentaon indicates that the product should not be disposed of as household
waste. The product must be taken to an authorized collecon centre for the
recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. The product must be disposed of
in compliance with the current local environmental regulaons regarding waste
disposal.
For more informaon regarding the disposal, recycling and reuse of the product,
please contact your local authories, your local waste collecon service or the
retailer/distributor from whom the product was purchased.
Packaging is manufactured from recyclable material. It bears the
recycling symbol and must be delivered to a collecon centre.

2. Usage instrucons
The climate class is indicated on the data plate inside the product itself.
SN or extended temperate class (ambient temperature from 10°C to 32°C)
Nor temperate class (ambient temperature from 16°C to 32°C)
ST or subtropical class (ambient temperature from 16°C to 38°C)
Tor tropical class (ambient temperature from 16°C to 43°C)
2.1 Usage recommendaons
• Frequent opening of the product will result in greater power consumpon.
• Ensuring adequate venlaon for the compressor and the condensing unit will
signicantly reduce power consumpon.
• Never obstruct the ice maker’s venlaon system.
• To keep the surface of the door in good condions and intact, make sure that it
is always clean and dry.
• The compressor can operate up to an angle of 30°, while greater angles can
cause permanent damage to the compressor.
WARNING! Do not use the ice cube container to cool or conserve food
or drinks as these operaons could clog the drain, resulng in the container itself
becoming lled, resulng in water leakage.
WARNING! Any use of the product other than for ice making using cold
drinking water is to be considered improper.

2.2 “White” Ice Maker
The ice maker has a producon capacity of about
8 kg of ice per day. The technology used is called
"pushed,” meaning water is frozen into cubes in a
special tray and then is "pushed" out of the tray. The
ice cubes then drop into the collecon container.
The cube produced is white with a special half-moon
shape (see photo).
An ice making cycle is 8 cubes.
To acvate the ice maker, move the stop lever to the ON posion. (see gure).
The ice maker will begin its producon cycle and, once the ice collecon tray is full,
simply raise the stop lever to the “OFF” posion (see
gure) to stop the producon cycle, maintaining the
ice already formed.
3. Maintenance
WARNING! Perform maintenance only when
the product is switched o and disconnected from power sources.
Isotherm Ice Maker products are equipped with closed cooling systems, which do not
require maintenance or refrigerant rells.
3.1 Defrosng
As the internal compartment is refrigerated, ice and frost will inevitably form upon it.
The humidity in the air, the temperature and the number of mes the door is opened
will have a signicant impact on frost formaon.
Always defrost the product when the frost in the internal compartment forms a
thickness of 3-4 mm or more.
Switch o the product by pressing the power buon.
Do not use sharp objects to remove ice and frost from the product, as this could
damage the compartment, resulng in refrigerant leaks.

Only turn the product back on once it has been defrosted, cleaned and thoroughly
dried. Some models are equipped with a hole at the base of the inside drawer to
facilitate condensate discharge. A towel can be placed at the base of the product
during the defrosng procedure in order to facilitate water collecon.
3.2 Seasonal Maintenance
Seasonal maintenance is performed:
1st With cleaning of the condensing unit. In parcular, it is necessary to brush/
vacuum out all the dust that has accumulated. This can be done using a so brush
and a vacuum cleaner.
2nd With cleaning of the internal compartment. In parcular, wash with warm water
and mild soap, drying any water/condensaon that may be encountered.
3.3 Maintenance for Long Periods of Inacvity
In the winter, the product must be stored inside the vehicle, as it will not work
at temperatures near or below 0°C. In order to prevent damage to the electrical/
mechanical components and/or the formaon of mould when shung o the
product for extended periods of me, it is necessary to wait for the product to
defrost completely and to eliminate any condensaon that may have formed,
performing the following acvies:
1 Close the inlet water tap or turn o the autoclave.
2 Wait for the product to complete an ice making cycle.
3 Switch o the product and disconnect the power supply.
4 Open the door and wait for the product to reach room temperature. Dry all
condensaon inside.
5 The product is now ready for use.

4.1 Installaon
Isotherm products have been designed and constructed exclusively for recessed
installaon.
WARNING! The product must be installed horizontally and the compressor
must always be installed with its rubber feet resng downward.
The compressor is capable of funconing at angles of up to 30°.
WARNING! The compressor can become damaged with any higher
inclinaons.
Secure the product so that it cannot p/slide in the event of rough seas or in the case
of sudden vehicle movement. The product should be anchored by at least 2 fastening
points, in accordance with the provisions of the EN 60335-2-24 standard.
The product should be secured using mounng anges equipped with special holes
(see gure below).
Where it is not possible to use the mounng anges, secure the ice maker so that it
cannot p/slide forward.
