Keep this instruction anual in a safe place for future
reference. Should the appliance be sold, transferred or
oved, ake sure the instruction anual
acco panies the washing achine to infor the new
owner as to its operation and features.
Read these instructions carefully: they contain vital
infor ation on installation, use and safety.
Unpacking and levelling
Unpacking
1. Unpack the washing
achine.
2. Check whether the
washing achine has
been da aged during
transport. If this is the
case, do not install it and
contact your retailer.
3. Re ove the four
protective screws and
the rubber washer with
the respective spacer,
situated on the rear of
the appliance (see
figure).
4. Seal the gaps using
the plastic plugs provided.
5. Keep all the parts: you will need the again if the
washing achine needs to be oved to another
location.
Warning: should the screws be re-used, ake sure
you fasten the shorter ones at the top.
Packaging aterials are not children's toys.
Levelling
Your achine ay ake a considerable a ount of
noise if the two front feet have not been adjusted
correctly.
1. Install the washing
achine on a flat sturdy
floor, without resting it up
against walls, furniture
cabinets or other.
2. If the floor is not
perfectly level, co pensa-
te for any unevenness by
tightening or loosening the
adjustable front feet (see
figure); the angle of
inclination, easured according to the worktop, ust not
exceed 2°.
Levelling your appliance correctly will provide it with
stability and avoid any vibrations, noise and shifting
during operation. If it is placed on a fitted or loose
carpet, adjust the feet in such a way as to allow
enough roo for ventilation beneath the washing
achine.
Putting your appliance in place and moving it.
If your washing
achine is equipped
with a special set of
retractable wheels you
can easy ove it. To
lower the wheels and
thus ove the
appliance effortlessly,
just pull the lever,
situated on the left-
hand side beneath the
base. Once the appliance is in the required
position, put the lever back in place. The washing
achine is now fir ly in place (see figure).
Electric and water connections
Connecting the water inlet hose
1. Insert seal A into the
end of the inlet hose
and screw the latter
onto a cold water tap
with a 3/4 gas
threaded outh (see
figure).
Before aking the
connection, allow the
water to run freely until
it is perfectly clear.
2. Connect the other end
of the water inlet hose
to the washing achine,
screwing it onto the
appliance's cold water
inlet, situated on the top
right-hand side on the
rear of the appliance
(see figure).
3. Make sure there are
no kinks or bends in
the hose.
The water pressure at the tap ust be within the
values indicated in the Technical details table
(on the next page).
If the water inlet hose is not long enough, contact
a specialist store or an authorised service an.
 Never use hoses that have already been used.
Installation

Connecting the drain hose
Connect the drain hose,
without bending it, to a
draining duct or a wall
drain situated between
65 and 100 c fro
the floor;
alternatively, place it
over the edge of a
basin, sink or tub,
fastening the duct
supplied to the tap (see
figure). The free end of
the hose should not be
underwater.
 We advise against the use of hose extensions; in
case of absolute need, the extension ust have the
sa e dia eter as the original hose and ust not
exceed 150 c in length.
Electric connection
Before plugging the appliance into the ains
socket, ake sure that:
 the socket is earthed and in co pliance with the
applicable law;
 the socket is able to sustain the appliance's
axi u power load indicated in the Technical
details table (on the right);
 the supply voltage is included within the values i
ndicated on the Technical details table
(on the right);
 the socket is co patible with the washing
achine's plug. If this is not the case, replace
the socket or the plug.
 The washing achine should not be installed in an
outdoor environ ent, not even when the area is
sheltered, because it ay be very dangerous to
leave it exposed to rain and thunderstor s.
 When the washing achine is installed, the ains
socket ust be within easy reach.
 Do not use extensions or ultiple sockets.
 The power supply cable ust never be bent or
dangerously co pressed.
 The power supply cable ust only be replaced by
an authorised service an.
Warning! The co pany denies all liability if and when
these nor s are not respected.
The first wash cycle
Once the appliance has been installed, and before
you use it for the first ti e, run a wash cycle with
detergent and no laundry, setting the 90°C
progra e without a pre-wash cycle.

ON OFF/LID LOCK led:
If this LED is on, the appliance Lid is locked to prevent it fro being opened accidentally; to avoid any
da ages, you ust wait for the la p to flash before you open the Lid.

 The rapid flashing of the ON-OFF/LID LOCK Led together with the flashing of at least one other LED indicates
there is an abnor ality. Call for Technical Assistance.

If the Delay Ti er function has been set, the ti e left
until the progra e starts will be indicated (see page 5).
FUNCTION keys to select the functions available.
The button corresponding to the function selected will
re ain on.
SPIN SPEED knob to set the spin speed or exclude the
spin cycle co pletely (see page 7).
TEMPERATURE knob to set the te perature or the cold
wash cycle (see page 7).
ON/OFF key to turn the washing achine on and
off.
START/RESET key to start the progra es or
cancel incorrect settings.
ON OFF/LID LOCK led, to find out whether the
washing achine is on (flashing) and if the lid ay be
opened (see page 5).
PROGRAMME knob to set the progra es
(see page 6).
The knob stays still during the cycle.

Cycle phase under way:
During the wash cycle, the LEDs gradually illu i-
nate on to indicate the cycle phase under way:
Prewash
Wash
Rinse
Spin cycle
Note: during draining, the LED corresponding to
the Spin cycle phase will be turned on.
Function buttons
The FUNCTION BUTTONS also act like LEDS.
When a function is selected, the corresponding
button is illu inated.
If the function selected is inco patible with the
progra e set, the button will flash and the function
will not be enabled.
If you set a function that is inco patible with another
function you selected previously, only the last one
selected will be enabled.
Leds
The LEDS provide i portant infor ation.
This is what they can tell you:
Delay set:
If the Delay Ti er function has been enabled (see
page. 7), once you have started the progra e,
the LED corresponding to the delay set will begin to
flash:
As ti e passes, the re aining delay will be
displayed, and the corresponding LED will flash:
Once the set delay is co plete, the flashing LED will
turn off and the progra e set will start.

A) Opening (Fig. 1).
Lift the external lid and open it co pletely.
B) Opening the drum (Soft opening):
With one finger, push the button indicated in fig. 2
and the dru will open delicately.
C) Loading the washing machine. (Fig. 3).
D) Shutting (Fig. 4).
- close the dru fully by first shutting the front door
followed by the rear one;
- then ensure the hooks on the front door are perfectly
housed within the seat of the rear door;
- after the hooks have clicked into position, press both
doors lightly downwards to ake sure they do not
co e loose;
- finally shut the external lid.
