The term “tool” in the warnings refers to your electrical tool run off the main supply (with supply power cord) or
your electrical battery-operated tool (without a supply power cord).
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Read the user manual carefully, especially the safety instructions.
You MUST wear a helmet, eye protection and hearing protection.
Hand protection, for work gloves.
Foot protection by closed toed shoes.
Face protection, or visor.
Note: The extensions poles are made of carbon, which conducts electricity. Do not
use the extensions poles near electricity supply points or electrical wires.
Note: Do not place any part of your body close to the blade. Do not remove cut
material or hold the material you wish to cut while the blades are moving.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Follow the specific instructions for waste elimination in your country. Electrical
appliances should not be thrown in the garbage.
The device, accessories and packaging should be recycled.
Ask your specialist INFACO retailer for the latest information on eco-compatible waste
elimination.

INSTALATION AND POWER CONNECTION
Only use INFACO brand batteries with a supply voltage 48 volts.
If it is raining, the battery vest must be worn underneath waterproof clothing so that
the battery unit and control box remain dry.
USING THE MACHINE
CHAIN STOPPER BRAKE
When not in use for cutting operations, it is imperative to fit the chain cover.
This system is electronic and only operates when pruning without an extension.

TOPPING UP OIL
INFACO recommends its highly fluid and tacky oil which is over 90% biodegradable and available
in two container sizes:
5L container ref: TH500HC
1L container ref: TH100HC

CHAIN TENSION
CAUTION there is an increased risk of cuts during this operation.
It is imperative to wear gloves.
This is an automatic device, do not touch the guide or the chain.
CAUTION when in use, the chain and chain guide temperatures rise. There is therefore a risk of burns
and a requirement to re-tension the chain after a few minutes of use.

STORAGE
When storing the chainsaw, we recommend draining off the oil and storing the tool in a box, as
oil seepage can occur.

The machine is fitted with an electronic protection device. As soon as the chain saw jams due to to
high resistance, the electronic system stops the motor. Restart the machine using operation “1” of
the pruning table.
