INFRARED MANUAL
Infrared watches are built to the toughest manufacturing guidelines ensuring your timepiece is always
reliable and rugged. This is a workwear watch after all. However, here are a few tips to preserve and extend
your watch’s lifetime
• Clean the case and bracelet regularly - this will help prevent possible corrosion by perspiration.
• Avoid running the chronograph constantly as this will lead to shorter battery life.
Your watch is rated at 10 ATM which means you can clean it using a toothbrush and soapy water
occasionally.

WATER RESISTANCE
7
INFRARED MANUAL
Water Resistance of watches is rated based on laboratory pressure tests comparable to a swimmer or
diver sitting still at that pressure level. Unfortunately, many water-based activities involve a lot of movement
and other environmental changes such as temperatures. This means the watch’s water resistance may be
challenged or defeated when pushing to the maximal ATM.
The water resistance of a watch cannot be guaranteed permanently. It may be affected by aging gaskets
or by accidental shocks while being used.
Never pull the crown when the watch is under water as this will ood the watch and will lead to its
destruction. Make sure the crown is properly pushed in before entering the water with it
