How to turn the Tracker on ?

When the tracker is delivered, it comes inactive. In order to activate the device, you need to
charge it beforehand. For that, please follow this step to step guide below:
The tracker uses a USB cable in order to charge (example below):
You can use the USB cable in 2 ways to charge your tracker:
Connect the cable to a standard USB charger (for example one use to charge
smartphones, egg: Samsung USB charger)
On a computer USB port
Please note that it is not possible to turn off the tracker. In order to reboot your tracker you
will need to remove the device from your user account.

The LED main purpose is to indicate that your tracker is charging:
1. When the tracker is charging the LED stays turned on
2. When the tracker is fully charged, the LED will turn off
Please note:
When you long press the button, the LED and buzzer are active and will show that the
tracker is functioning
When the function "Find me" is enabled the LED and buzzer are active allowing you to
locate your tracker

Please follow this step to step guide:
Click on the profile icon on the top right side

Click on "Contact us"
Choose the type of request you wish to submit, enter your message and then click on
send.

You will receive a confirmation by email

If you are encountering issues or if you want to send feedback, you can do it directly from the
mobile app.
Please follow this step to step guide:
Open the mobile app

Click on the icon located on the top right side
Click on "Feedback"

Select the subject and type your message

When you are done typing, click on "Send"

Your email will then be displayed on your smartphone, this will summarize your inquiry
and some details linked to your user profile, then click "Send"

You will receive a confirmation by email

The battery life of your GPS Tracker is between 1 and 8 months.
The autonomy depends on the following parameters:
Frequency of transmission: the higher it is, the more battery the tracker consumes.
Tracker activity: if it moves a lot, or stays close to your personal Wifi network, then the
tracker will send its position more frequently and consume more battery.
Environment: if you Tracker travels in a dense urban environment, with many Wifi
networks, your tracker will consume less battery power than if it is in a less dense
environment, beyond the reach of Wifi networks (countryside, mountains...).
why do i have missing points?

This article will explain why you do not receive all the points like configure. If you have any

It could occur that your tracker transmits fewer location points than configured. This can be
explained by the following reasons:
If your tracker doesn't move often: the tracker will stop sending its position until it starts
moving long enough time to justify a new position. This optimizes the battery life of your
tracker.

If your GPS Tracker remains within range of the same Wifi network: it will send only one
point every 4 hours centered on the same position. If it moves outside the area covered by that
Wi-Fi, the points will be displayed again at the frequency you have chosen in the settings. This
also saves battery power. A Wifi network can have a range of 70-80m in urban areas.
Depending on the network: the network may not receive the positions sent by tracker. For
example, if the tracker is underground or some place that blocks transmission, or if the network
coverage is insufficient near your home. You can check your coverage at this address:

Hilly, forested or mountainous areas do not allow optimal use of the Invoxia GPS Tracker.
Why is there a button on the Tracker?

Every tracker has a button located near the led (red square).
1. If you long-press (5 seconds) the button, the tracker will reboot.
2. If you press the button for 1 second, the tracker will show that it is turned on and it will
indicate its position on our servers.

Problem with our servers July 8th and 9th

We are currently experiencing difficulties on our servers.
All our teams are actively working to solve this problem.
The repercussions on the use of our services include:
- Server error 500 during installation (between July 8, 6
pm and July 9, 2 pm.)
- The tracker location is not updated in the Invoxia GPS
application.
- The location takes time to update in the Invoxia GPS
application.
- Battery level does not update in the application
- Lack of movement alert and zone alert
Connection problem on the Android
application

We've been experiencing a problem on the Android application for a week now following the
modification of the security key of our servers.
This problem results in a non update of the tracker positions and the impossibility to connect to
the application (Timeout).
The problem is now solved but requires a small manipulation on your part.
You need to update the Invoxia GPS application from the Google Play Store.
- The minimum version required for blocked people is 4.7.9.
- Version 4.7.8 is sufficient for all owners of an Android 7.0 or later phone.
