1). Case & Power Supply:
FWBEIDE525QA-R1 is a FireWire800 (1394b) to ATA devices bay with RAID 1 controller.
FWBEIDE525QA-R1 is ideally for tailgate interface applications for RAID 1 HDDs.
It allows IDE drives to be connected to a 1394 serial bus in a plug-and-play fashion.
FWBEIDE525QA-R1 allows users to easily hot-swap HDD without interrupting the current operation.
FWBEIDE525QA-R1 provides the perfect solution for data backup and transferring of data between computers using ATA/SATA HDDs.
FWEIDE525Q-R1 combines three key components:

Overview
Connectors:
2). Bridge Board:
FWB-IDE01A is ideally suited for tailgate interface applications
for removable-media drives CD-ROM, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-ROM,
DVD-RAM, tape drive, and hard disk drive.
It allows IDE drives (Master and Slave)to be connected to
FireWire 800 (IEEE 1394b) serial bus in a plug-and-play fashion.
Both ATA and ATAPI devices are supported using the same firmware.
FWB-IDE01A allows users to easily hot-swap IDE drive without
interrupting the current operation.
FWB-IDE01A provides the perfect solution for data backup and
transfering of data between computers using IDE (ATA/ATAPI)
devices.
Complies with T13's ATA/ATAPI-7 Draft Specification:
- PIO Mode 0-4
- DMA Mode 0-2
- Ultra DMA Mode 2, 4, 5, 6
- Supports 48-bit addressing for large hard drives (>128GB).

FWB-IDE01A was designed to have SCSI 1 50pin connector form
factor so it's idea for SCSI case.
1394 Repeater Function: Yes!
The PHY (TSB81BA3) can be powered by IEEE 1394 bus power
to act as a repeater.
IEEE 1394 Bus Power:
It might take the power from the IEEE 1394 Bus for the PHY
(TSB81BA3) and will provide DC 11.5V bus power to the
IEEE 1394 Bus.

1-1. Pull theactive-handle outward. (Fig.1)
1-2. Pull thehandle outward to remove the carrier body away fromthe
cartridge frame. (Fig.2)
1-3. Push and hold on to release latch, then slide the top
and remove. (Fig.3)
2-1-1. Connect the 3.5" ATA HDD by using IDE-ATAMT01.
2-1-2. Connect the 3.5" SATA HDD by using IDE-SATAMT01.
2-1-3. Connect the 2.5" ATA HDD by using 35-25MT01.

3-2. Push the carrier body further into the cartridge frame until fully
inserted. (Fig. 8)

2-2. Place theHDD inside carrier body, Use four ofthe screws provided
to secure theHDD. (Fig.5)

When the RAID system window display, click the right top button to

2 nd hard disk information.
