9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug. The wide blade is provided for your safety. If the
provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plug, convenience receptacles,
and point where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12. Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the
apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury
from tip-over.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lighting storms or when unused for long periods of time.
14. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Serving is required when the apparatus has been
damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects
have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate
normally, or has been dropped.

of important operation and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying
this appliance.

The PK 2 laptop performance keyboard is a mini USB-MIDI controller made up of 2 mini size and
velocity-sensitive keyboard keys. It is suitable for musicians, producers, DJs and other music creators.
The PK 2 provides octave shift up/ down controls, Pitch up/ down controls and Program Change controls.
It fits all Keyboard players who want to work with software on their computer and express themselves
anywhere.
It works plug and play with Mac and PC and requires no software driver installation. It comes with
PoiZone and Waldorf Edition so you can have sound out of the box.

1. Connect the PK 2 to your computer with a USB cable.
2. When the PK 2 is connected to computer, one of the 4 Octave LEDs will turn on. Driver will be
installed automatically. No extra driver is needed.
3. The PK 2 includes 2 software. Please follow the instructions on the software voucher for download
and installation.
1. Keyboard – There are twenty-five
velocity-sensitive keys that transmit note
messages. When CC mode is on, they transmit
control change messages.
2. Pro ram Chan e encoders – Turn for
transmitting program change messages.
3. CC MODE button – This button will toggle the
CC mode on or off.
4. MOD button – This button transmits modulation
messages.
. PITCH DOWN/ PITCH UP buttons – These
buttons transmit pitch bend messages.
6. OCTAVE DOWN/ OCTAVE UP buttons – These
select the pitch of the keyboard in steps of an
octave. The pitch will shift downward by one octave each time you press the OCTAVE DOWN button.
The pitch will shift upward by one octave each time you press the OCTAVE UP button. The Octave LEDs
indicate the keyboard’s octave shift status.
7. USB Connector – Connect the PK 2 to your computer with a USB cable via this port.

The following settings cannot be edited from the PK 2 itself, so you’ll need to use the Jammin Pro Control
Editor. You can download the Jammin Por Kontrol Editor from the Jammin Pro website.

1. Global MIDI channel [1...16]
This specifies which MIDI channel the PK 2 will use to transmit note messages, pitch bend messages, as
well as MIDI messages that are sent when you press the MOD button. This should be set to match the MIDI
channel of the MIDI application that you’re controlling.
2. Keyboard
The keyboard transmits note messages, and it is velocity sensitive. You can specify the transposition and the
velocity curve. MIDI messages are transmitted on the Global MIDI Channel.
Transpose [-12...+12]
Use this to transpose the pitch of the keyboard up or down in semitone steps. The range is -12 to +12.
Velocity Curve [Li ht/ Normal/ Heavy/ Const]
The velocity curve determines how the force with which you play the keyboard will affect the output level.
You can choose one of three velocity curves or select a fixed velocity.
Li ht – A curve that allows even soft strikes to produce loud notes.
Normal – The normal curve
Heavy – A curve that requires strong strikes to produce loud notes.
Const – The velocity value will always be constant.
Constant Velocity Value [0…127]
This specifies the velocity value that is transmitted if the velocity curve is set to Const. This is useful for
sounds such as organ, etc.
3. PITCH DOWN/ PITCH UP buttons
You can transmit pitch bend messages by operating the PITCH DOWN/ PITCH UP button. These MDII
messages are transmitted on the Global MIDI Channel.
4. MOD button
The MOD button transmits a control change (CC#1) message.
5. Keyboard operation in CC mode
The 2 keys of the keyboard will function as independent buttons to transmit control change messages. You
can specify which MIDI channel the control change message is transmitted on, whether or not each key is
enabled, the key type, the control change number, as well as the On and Off value.
CC MIDI Channel [1...16]
This specifies the MIDI channel that control change messages will be transmitted on. Set this to match the
MIDI channel of the application you’re controlling.
Key Enable [Disable/Enable]
Enables or disables the key. If a key is disabled, operating that key will not transmit a MIDI message.
Key Behavior [Momentary/To le]
Selects one of the following two modes:
Momentary – Pressing the key will send a control change message with the On value, releasing the key will

send a control change message with the Off value.
To le – Each time you press the key the control change message will alternate between the On value and
the Off value.
Control Chan e Number [0...127]
Specifies the CC number of the control change message that will be transmitted.
On Value [0...127]
Specifies the On value of the control change message.
Off Value [0...127]
Specifies the Off value of the control change message.

1. Teclado –Hay 2 Teclas sensibles a la velocidad

7. Conector USB –Conecte el PK 2 a su ordenador mediante este puerto con un cable USB.
Use el Software Jammin Pro Kontrol Editor para editar los siguientes Ajustes.

1. Global MIDI channel [1...16]
Especifica el Canal MIDI que usará PK 2 para transmitir mensajes de nota, mensajes de desplazamiento
de tono y mensajes MIDI que se generan al Pulsar el botón [MOD].
Debe coincidir con el Canal MIDI de la aplicación que esté controlando.
2. Teclado (Keyboard)
El Teclado transmite mensajes de nota y es sensible a la velocidad. Puede especificar la transposición y la
curva de velocidad. Los mensajes

La curva de velocidad determina la forma en que afecta la fuerza con la que toca el Teclado al nivel de salida.
Puede elegir entre 3 curvas de velocidad o una velocidad fija.
Li ht – un toque suave produce notas fuertes.
Normal – normal
Heavy – es necesario tocar fuerte para producir notas fuertes.
Const – velocidad constante.
Constant Velocity Value [0…127]
Especifica el valor de velocidad que se transmite si la curva de velocidad se Ajusta a Const. Muy útil para
Sonidos como órgano, etc.
3. Botones [PITCH DOWN] / [PITCH UP]
Puede transmitir mensajes de desplazamiento de tono utilizando los botones [PITCH DOWN]/[PITCH UP].
Estos mensajes MIDI se transmiten en el Canal MIDI Global.
4. Botón [MOD]
El botón [MOD] transmite un mensaje de cambio de control.
5. Funcionamiento del Teclado en Modo CC
Las 2 Teclas del Teclado funcionarán como botones independientes para transmitir mensajes de cambio
de control.
Puede especificar el Canal MIDI de transmisión del mensaje, activar/ desactivar cada Tecla, tipo, nº de
cambio de control y el valor de Tecla pulsada y soltada.
CC MIDI Channel [1...16]
Especifica el Canal MIDI en el que serán transmitidos los mensajes de cambio de control.
Debe coincidir con el Canal MIDI de la aplicación que esté controlando.
Key Enable [Disable/Enable]
Activa (Enable)/desactiva (Disable) la Tecla. Si la Tecla está desactivada no se transmiten mensajes MIDI.
Key Behavior [Momentary/To le]
Selecciona uno de estos 2 Modos:
Momentary –al Pulsar la Tecla se transmite un mensaje de cambio de control con el valor ON, y al soltarla
con el valor OFF.
To le – Cada vez que Pulse la Tecla, el mensaje de cambio de control alternará entre ON y OFF.
Control Chan e Number [0...127]
Especifica el nº CC de cambio de control que será transmitido.
On Value [0...127]
Especifica en valor ON del mensaje de cambio de control.
Off Value [0...127]
Especifica en valor OFF del mensaje de cambio de control.
