HOW TO CONTROL THE FLYING EAGLE
- Set the band on the transmitter to A, B or C, the same as to the helicopter
- Set the ON/OFF switch under the Flying Eagle to ON and wait until the eyes lights flash.
Be sure the transmitter is “OFF” before you turn on the helicopter's switch to “ON”.
- Place the Flying Eagle on the ground, keeping the tail pointing towards you and the nose
facing away from you.
- Turn on the Transmitter.
- Gently push the throttle up to raise the Flying Eagle about 1 to 3 feet high (0.5 to 1 meter).
- When the Flying Eagle flies steadily, you can slowly push the throttle stick up so the
Flying Eagle will fly higher, or release the stick a bit to make it fly lower. TIP: the smoother
the movements, the better flight control you will have. Try not to push up the throttle
stick too fast or release it too fast. Start your flight pushing the throttle half way only.
Then feel how high it goes and from that point on, perform only smooth movements.
- Hold the Flying Eagle at a height. Push the right stick (direction stick) toward left to turn
counter clockwise. Or push it toward the right to turn clockwise. TIP: The smoother the
movements, the better flight control you will have.
- If your Flying Eagle spirals clockwise, or keeps turning clockwise, push and release the
left side of trim repeatedly until the turning stops and the Flying Eagle flies straight.
That's called TRIMMING. TIP: All helicopters need some Trimming. First master flying up
and down. Then fine tune it by trimming. Try to control the helicopter by using the
direction throttle alone. Only if the helicopter is spiraling too much (keep turning either
way), then you would use the trimming function.
- The Flying Eagle will slowly move forward speed when a gentle Clockwise turn is made.
Alternate clockwise and Counter Clockwise turns to move and stop.
Choose the place which meets the following conditions:
1. Indoor environment with calm air condition. Beware of the air circulation from the air-conditioner.
2. Space area: We recommend to have space area over 10ft(W) x 16ft(L) x 8ft(H).
3. Safety area: We recommend that there are no electric fans, air-conditioner, reading lamps or other danger-
ous objects to flying.
