Conventions
Thank you for purchasing portable wireless broadband router.
Applicable to portable Wireless-N wireless broadband router, this Installation Guide provides
a WebUI-based configuration method and procedure. In this guide, Windows 2000/XP is used as
an example.

Interfaces
Interface Function
DC IN Mini 5 PIN usb port, connecting to a 5V/1A usb power adapter
RESET Reset key. Pressing this key for 5 seconds will restore the router to factory
settings.
SIM Card
slot
For inserting sim card
RJ45
RJ45 port for connecting to an internet access device such as ADSL
modem, upper level router or switch. A static IP address, dynamic IP
address, or PPPoE can be used for internet access. If connect to a terminal
device with an RJ45 port such as a computer, it work as LAN port
automatically
USB USB port, connecting to a USB mass storage

Installation environment
To ensure proper functioning of the router, the operating environment is recommended as
follows:

a) Keep away from heat, maintain ventilation
b) Lay equipments on flat surface
c) Lay equipments in dry environment without dust
d) Dismantle power supply and all wirings in thunderstorm weather in case of lightning
stroke
Note: please supply rated power for equipments. If unmatched power is supplied, router may
get damaged.

Broadband Internet service (Ethernet cable access or through xDSL/Cable Modem)
Modulator-demodulator with RJ45 port (unnecessary for ethernet cable connection)
Each PC is equipped with network connection equipment respectively (wireless network
card or wire network card and network cable)
Windows 98, Me, NT, 2000, XP, Vista, 7 and other operating systems supporting TCP/IP
protocol
Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher version
Product installation
1. Hardware connection
Please use ancillary power adapter to supply power for router, start router, and then
connect your computer to the RJ45 port on the router by using a RJ45 network cable.
Prompt: you can connect wireless broadband router via wireless interface. When
configuring router for the first time, we recommend you to connect with wire method. The
following setting steps are all based on wire connection.
2. Set up your computer network in a correct way
The router default LAN port’s IP address as 192.168.169.1 and default subnet mask as
255.255.255.0. These values can be modified according to actual condition. The text will
explain it with default value.
1) Double click “My Network Place” on desktop, and click “View network connections”
on dialog box, and select “Local Area Connection” of corresponding network card on this page.

2) Double click “Local Area Connection”, select “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)” indialog
box popped out, and then click “Properties”, as the following picture:
3) In “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Property” screen popped out, select “obtain an IP
addresses automatically” and “obtain DNS server address automatically”, click “OK”

3. Log on router configuration page
1) Open IE browser, input at address bar: 192.168.169.1, Enter.
2) In log-in window popped out, input user name: admin; password: admin; then click
"OK”.
Prompt: both user name and password of initial administrator are: admin; user can

change administrator’s password after entering into the system.
3) After inputting correct user name and password, one can enter into router’s WEB
configuration screen.
4. Select way to access the Internet
Router supports four wan accesses of static IP, dynamic IP, PPPoE and WiFi repeat. Click
corresponding icon at bottom column on home page and select your access method. Router was
set into DHCP (dynamic IP) mode as the way to access the Internet when leaving factory.
zSelect a static IP(fixed IP)
If access way provided by network provider for you is static IP, you shall input ISP or IP
address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS server and standby DNS server provided by network
administrator for you.
zSelect DHCP (Auto config)

If access way provided by network provider for you is dynamic IP, Please click on the
icon“ DHCP (Auto config)” , next you don’t need to input anything, click “OK” directly.
zSelect PPPoE (ADSL)
If your way to access the Internet is “ADSL dial-up”, you only need to input account
information provided by ISP in input box of “user name” and "command”, complete setting, and
click “OK”.
zSelect WiFi repeate
If you want to make current router connect to another exist wireless router though wireless
connection, please select this mode.
Enter into “WiFi repeate” setting interface, click "scan all AP”, It will list names of
surrounding WiFi routers, select the router you need to connect, input password for connection,
click “OK” and complete setting
zSelect 3G/4G Dial-up
If 3G/4G modem uint is built in router, or USB port of router supports connecting 3G/4G
dongle, this machine can achieve 3G/4G dial-up networking function. The router supports

automatic configuration function of 3G/4G dial-up parameter. Dial-up parameters of mainland
China and global main 3G/4G network operators can be achieved automatic configuration. Users
do not need to set by hand. If dial-up networking fails, please confirm according to the following
steps:
Step 1: confirm SIM card in effect, in normal service;
Step 2: confirm whether 3G/4G dial-up setting of the router meets setting requirement of your
local ISP. After you obatain the correct dial-up parameters, Specific operation procedure is as
follows:
Please click “3G/4G" icon on home page and enter into 3G/4G dial-up setting. In dial-up
setting, select “dial-up parameter”, “customized definition”, input users name, command, dial
number, and APN parameter provided by 3G /4G ISP, and click OK.
Note:
We cannot eliminate incurrence opportunity of the situation. 3G/4G dongle in present
supporting list may not be supported by the device because producer adjusts inter parameters of
products in the future.
5. Wireless network setting
Complete setting internet access method and configure security setting of wireless network to
prevent illegal user access. Click “Wifi security settings” on home page and appear the following
UI:
After basic setting of router is completed, you can click “advanced setup” icon on home
page to check partial connection status of router with ISP. If your router’s “Internet
Configuration” shows that corresponding IP address, DNS servers and other information are

obtained successfully, you can surf on internet now.
If you need higher function set, please make further setting in menu bar on the left.
