一. kisslink产品介绍
首先感谢您购买kisslink。
kisslink是全球第一台把企业级技术家庭化的路由器，可以在WiFi终端比较多、网速要求比较苛刻的环境下，给用户
提供高速稳定的上网体验。kisslink很好地满足了现代家庭对WiFi功能多样化的需求，同时也为家庭智能化、企业化
奠定了坚实的基础。
kisslink安装简单。只需插上电源线和网线即可连网，省去了“198.162.1.1”等繁琐的配置过程；它无需设置密码，连
网只需通过“kiss认证”（即打开手机的网络设置页面，将手机轻触kisslink认证面板，选择kisslink无线网络）。
该项专利技术获得了美国媒体MSN“2015全球最佳发明”的称号。基于硬件层面的认证没有密码，故不会被破解，从
而更加安全。

1. Intro to kisslink
kisslink is the first product of its kind with KISSTM authentication technology to connect devices to WiFi without a
password. kisslink brings enterprise-class technology into your home by providing a fast and stable WiFi
connection. By catering to the diverse connectivity needs of a modern household where multiple devices are
simultaneously online, kisslink serves as a hub to ensure that all your devices can connect and stay connected all
the time.
Installing kisslink is a breeze. Whether you are deploying it as your standalone router or range extender, there are
no tedious configuration processes such as installing proprietary software or accessing setup pages like
“198.162.1.1”. Just plug kisslink in and let it do the work.

终端如何进行认证
1. 在手机上打开“无线局域网”的设置页面。
2. 将手机靠近kisslink认证面板，听到“beep”声响后选择KSLINK****网络。
3. 连接成功。
配置模式
kisslink支持如下四种配置模式，请根据实际情况选择相应的模式。
1. PPPoE模式
（当kisslink是您第一台路由器，或您希望用kisslink取代原有路由器时。）
配置步骤：
i. 接通电源线。此时指示灯环为橙色，表示正在开机中；待指示灯环变成湖蓝色后，表示kisslink完成启动，开始正
常运行。
ii. 连接网线：将网线一端连接运营商的调制解调器，另一端连接kisslink的网线接口。
iii. 将手机打开WiFi选择页面并靠近认证面板。
iv. 听到“beep”声响后选择KSLINK****网络（不带密码）。连接成功后会弹出配置页面（如果没有弹出请用浏览器打
开任意一个网页），请在弹出的拨号界面输入运营商的账号和密码。
v. 根据网络环境的不同，需要等待5-30秒的拨号时间。待页面显示拨号成功，即可享受畅快的网络体验。
2. DHCP模式
（kisslink有线连接已有路由器。）
配置步骤：
i. 接通电源线。此时指示灯环为橙色，表示正在开机中；待指示灯环变成湖蓝色后，表示kisslink完成启动，开始正
常运行。
ii. 连接网线：将网线一端连接主路由的下行LAN口，另一端连接kisslink的网线接口。
iii. 将手机打开WiFi选择页面并靠近认证面板。
iv. 听到“beep”声响后选择KSLINK****网络（不带密码）。
v. 连接成功后，即可享受畅快的网络体验。

KISSTM Authentication
Unlike other routers, kisslink offers KISSTM authentication technology as an alternative to WiFi passwords. It is a
secure and simpler way to connect devices to WiFi. Please follow the steps below:
1. Open up the WiFi selection page on any mobile device and make sure WiFi is turned on.
2. Hold the device close to the syncing panel on kisslink. The LED light will pulse. Join the open KSLINK network. A
*beep* will indicate that the device has been approved.
3. The device is now connected.
Configuration
kisslink has 4 different configuration modes. Please refer to the appropriate description for your WiFi environment.
a. PPPoE Setup
Certain Internet Service Providers (ISPs) require a login process for a new router to access the network. The login
information (username and password) is provided by the ISP. Please follow the steps below:
1. Connect kisslink to a power outlet and an Internet source via the included micro-USB cable and Ethernet cables.
2. Wait for kisslink to start up. The LED indicator will turn from orange to blue when kisslink is ready. Open the WiFi
selection page on any mobile device and hold it close to the syncing panel for authentication. A *beep* will indicate
that the device has been authenticated.
3. Select and join the open KSLINK network on the device. A notification or popup should appear. If not, please open
up a browser and hit refresh. Enter the PPPoE log-in information provided by your Internet Service Provider.
4. A countdown will begin. The process should be complete in less than 30 seconds.
5. Success!
b. DHCP Setup
DHCP setup is the simplest method to install kisslink if a PPPoE process is not required and/or if kisslink is directly
wired to an existing modem or router. Please follow the steps below:
1. Connect kisslink to a power outlet and an Internet source via the included micro-USB cable and Ethernet cables.
2. Wait for kisslink to start up. The LED indicator will turn from orange to blue when kisslink is ready.

能搜索到第一台路由器两格信号的范围内。
iii. 将手机打开WiFi选择页面并靠近认证面板。
iv. 听到“beep”声响后，选择KSLINK****网络（不带密码）。连接成功后会弹出配置页面（如果没有弹出请用浏览器

4. 静态IP模式
（kisslink通过配置静态IP实现网络连接。）
配置步骤：
i. 接通电源线。此时指示灯环为橙色，表示正在开机中；待指示灯环变成湖蓝色后，表示kisslink完成启动，开始正
常运行。
ii. 连接网线：将网线一端连接主路由的下行LAN口，另一端连接kisslink的网线接口。
iii. 将手机靠近kisslink认证面板。
iv. 选择KSLINK****网络。连接成功后会弹出配置页面（如果没有弹出请用浏览器打开任意一个网页）。在弹出的配
置页面中输入IP地址、子网掩码、网关地址、DNS服务地址等信息。如果弹出的页面没有配置静态IP选项，请选择
更多上网方式后，再选择静态IP配置。
v. 等待5-30秒的连接时长。待页面显示连接成功后，即可享受畅快的网络体验。

c. Range Extender Setup
This mode requires an existing WiFi network. It’s best utilized as a guest network and/or a way to extend the
current WiFi coverage. Please follow the steps below:
1. Connect kisslink to a power outlet via the included micro-USB cable in an area where there is adequate WiFi signal
from the existing network.
2. Wait for kisslink to start up. The LED indicator will turn from orange to blue when kisslink is ready. Open the WiFi
selection page on any mobile device and hold it close to the syncing panel for authentication. A *beep* will indicate
that the device has been authenticated.
3. Select and join the open KSLINK network on the device. A notification or popup should appear. If not, please open
up a browser and hit refresh to reach the setup page. Select the existing WiFi network and enter the password.
4. A countdown will begin. The process should be complete in less than 30 seconds.
5. Success!
d. Repeater Setup
For a complete WiFi solution, multiple kisslink routers can be linked together to form a seamless WiFi network.
Please follow the steps below:
1. Ensure a mobile device is approved and connected to the existing kisslink network.
2. Connect the additional kisslink(s) to a power outlet via the included micro-USB cable in an area where the
existing kisslink signal is adequate.
3. Open the WiFi selection page on the connected mobile device and hold it close to the syncing panel on the new
kisslink(s) for authentication. A *beep* will indicate that the device has been recognized. Please do not select to join
the new KSLINK network.
4. Wait 2-4 minutes for the new kisslink(s) to sync with the existing kisslink network. The SSID will automatically
reflect that of the existing network.

四. 高级功能
禅按钮
禅按钮为您提供三种高级功能：
1. 一键解决网络问题
当网络变慢时，按一下禅按钮，kisslink会自动逐一排查一千余项网络配置问题，根据当前使用环境优化网络。
2. 一键快速连接网络
在不方便移动的设备上搜索KSLINK****网络，并点击KSLINK****（不带密码）网络，15秒内按下禅按钮，即可加入网
络（该功能一分钟内只能使用点击一次）。
3. 一键恢复出厂设置
长按禅按钮十秒左右直至指示灯环变为绿色，即可快速恢复出厂状态。
自组网
多台kisslink同时工作以扩大信号覆盖范围。
1. 使用手机在第一台kisslink上触碰以完成认证，并成功设置网络连接。
2. 用这台手机再触碰第二台kisslink以完成认证。如有多台kisslink，请依次触碰完成认证。
3. 无需任何配置，即可实现多台kisslink自动组网，享受全方位的网络覆盖体验。
组管理
分组管理功能可以快速把多台kisslink合并为一个组来进行统一管理，批量配置路由器。组内的kisslink可以处于主
路由，中继等不同的工作模式，多个kisslink相互之间会同步认证信息。
打开kisslink App，进入分组管理，即可把多台kisslink加入同一个组进行统一管理。
修改WiFi名称
默认情况下，kisslink的WiFi名称类似KSLINK****。客户可以通过kisslink App修改WiFi名称。
在App中的“WiFi设置”功能中，选择KSLINK****网络，可以修改WiFi名称。
用户间隔离
用户间隔离是一项针对用户安全的保护性功能。通常状况下它处于默认关闭状态。当用户间隔离开启时，即使连接
在同一网络的设备，如苹果AirPlay之类的设备不能互相连接。如果您想禁止连接在同一网络的设备互相访问，您可

4. Advanced Features
Zen Button
The Zen Button has 3 primary features:
1. Optimize WiFi Network: Connectivity issues such as bandwidth slowdown, Internet lag, or speed throttling can be
resolved simply by pressing the Zen Button. It notifies kisslink to automatically diagnose, analyze and resolve
network issues you may be experiencing to provide the best WiFi experience possible.
2. Connect Stationary Devices: Desktop computers, smart appliances, streaming devices, etc. can all be easily
connected via the Zen Button. Simply select to join the open KSLINK network on the device, press the Zen Button
within 20 seconds, and rejoin the same network to connect online.
3. Restore Factory Settings: kisslink can be restored to factory default settings by holding down the Zen Button for
10 seconds after which kisslink will *beep* and the LED light will turn green.
Group Management
Group management, accessible through the kisslink App, allows multiple kisslink routers to be merged together.
This feature makes it easier to unify and control settings across multiple routers.
WiFi Network Name (SSID)
The WiFi network name can be modified by accessing the kisslink App. Additional networks (up to 6) including
hidden SSIDs and guest networks can be added.
WiFi Password (WPA/WPA2)
Different authentication procedures, including traditional WiFi passwords, can be set for each specific network that
kisslink is running. This feature is available through the kisslink App.

管理连接终端
通过“kiss认证”连接的终端客户，kisslink可以设置被允许的上网时长。超过设置的时限后，所有用户都会断网，需
要再重新“kiss”路由器。
对于“kiss认证”的终端客户，kisslink可以设置禁止上网的时间段。在此时间段里，终端不能上网；其他时间段里，
允许终端上网。
a. 控制所有通过“kiss认证”连接的终端
手机连接kisslink无线网络，打开App，在“WiFi设置”里，选择KSLINK****网络，在高级设置的选项里，可配置允许
用户的在线时长，超过设置的时限后，所有用户都会断网，需要重新“kiss”路由器。
b. 控制单个终端
手机连接kisslink无线网络，打开App，找到信任名单，选择需要控制的用户，配置禁止上网的时间段。设置成功后，
该用户在指定时间内不能上网，即使重新“kiss”也无法使用。
信任名单、黑名单
信任名单：允许终端访问网络。
黑名单：不允许终端访问网络。
可以使用App来添加信任名单和黑名单。手机连接KSLINK****无线网络，打开App，即可在App的终端设置里，添加
信任名单和黑名单。
更改kisslink灯光颜色与显示时间
kisslink的灯光，除了默认的湖蓝色，还有更多选择。同时，灯光开启的时间也可以由用户配置。
配置步骤：
手机连接kisslink。
打开App，在“灯光自定义设置”里，可以设置灯光颜色和选择灯光开启的时间。
① kiss认证：打开手机的网络设置页面，将手机轻触kisslink顶部的认证面板，再选择KSLINK****无线网络
WiFi Time Restrictions
Time restrictions can be implemented on individual or all devices connected to kisslink. These features are
accessible through the kisslink App.
a. Control the time limit for all devices before they must re-authenticate through KISSTM
In the kisslink App: Select WiFi Settings-> Select the open KSLINK network-> Select Advanced Settings-> Set KISSTM
time restriction.
b. Set an offline period for an individual device.
In the kisslink App: Select Trusted Device List-> Select the desired device -> Set offline period.
Approve / Forget / Ban Devices
Admins can remotely approve, forget, or ban devices in the kisslink App. To approve a device, the device must first
attempt to access the kisslink network. It will then show up in the list of devices in the kisslink App where an admin
can approve it for WiFi access.
LED Settings
The color and ‘on’ time of the LED light can be changed through the kisslink App.

5. FAQ
Installation Questions
What are the different ways I can use kisslink?
kisslink has 4 modes in which it can be deployed: standalone router, range extender, wired access point, and
repeater. No matter which mode you choose to use kisslink and regardless of what your current WiFi environment
is like, kisslink can help drastically improve your WiFi experience whether it’s through better WiFi coverage or
simpler access from KISSTM.
I want to use kisslink for my guest network and boost my WiFi coverage. How do I install kisslink as a range
extender for my existing WiFi network?
Plug in kisslink to a power source in an area where there is a stable WiFi connection from your current router. Wait
for kisslink to start up and then connect any device to the KSLINK network. A popup should appear on your device
prompting you to choose your existing WiFi network and enter the password. Please ensure that you've entered the
correct WiFi password to the existing network. kisslink will configure itself and link with your existing signal. If you
experience issues connecting or maintaining a stable connection, please ensure that you’ve placed kisslink in an
area that overlaps with your existing WiFi network. In order to send out its signal and boost your coverage, kisslink
also needs to be able to receive an adequate signal from your existing router(s). Placing kisslink too far from the
existing WiFi network could lead to lapses in coverage.
My Internet Service Provider requires a login process to install new routers to my network. How do I enter the
PPPoE credentials that they have provided?
For ISPs that require a PPPoE login procedure, simply install kisslink and connect a device to the KSLINK network. A
popup should appear on your device prompting you to enter the login information (username and password) that
your ISP has provided. This straightforward process only needs to be done one time to verify kisslink with your ISP.
If a popup does not appear on your device, please open up any browser and refresh any page. It should take you
directly to the login page to enter your credentials. For further support, please contact us at [email protected].
What is PPPoE? My Internet Service Provider (ISP) does not require a login process. How can I bypass this unnecessary
procedure?
PPPoE is a login protocol required by a select few number of modern ISPs to identify and verify its customers. The

连接KSLINK网络后，配置网页没弹出怎么办？
如果您的手机是苹果手机，请打开飞行模式10秒钟并关闭，再尝试连接。请确保手机已经连上WiFi并重新尝试连接
KSLINK网络。如果您的手机不是苹果手机，请打开浏览器访问任意一个网址如www.abc.com，将引导您到配置界
面。如果以上办法均无效，请长按禅按钮，把路由器恢复到出厂配置，再进行尝试。
为什么停留在中继模式的配置页面却没有成功？
由于中继模式需要中继您家里原来的WiFi网络，所以请放置kisslink于您家主路由器的靠近位置，获得足够的WiFi信
号来进行中继和放大。放置较近后，您可以重新连接kisslink进入配置界面来进行中继配置。另外有部分其他厂商的
路由器存在WEP弱密码协议问题，请您确保您家主路由器使用WPA/WPA2密码协议。
为什么连网设备WiFi信号处有感叹号？
通常状况下，系统会自动向用户提示没有密码的网络（也就是您在界面上看到的感叹号）。实际上kisslink虽然没有
密码，但是基于物理层面的“kiss认证“为用户避免了被破解密码的危险，从而更加安全。
为什么路由器显示一直在配置，我尝试了各种办法也没有办法配置成功？
由于kisslink的创新性，我们测试过数千款路由器的兼容性，但对于很少的一些路由器可能会有遗漏。我们的
kisslink版本会不断更新以获得最好的兼容性，如果遇到中继配置失败，请将kisslink路由器通过网线连接到主路由
器的LAN口，手机下载App，通过App将路由器版本升级到最新版本再尝试一次，如果还是不行请联系我们换一台
新的kisslink。

多个kisslink如何一起使用？.
需要设置kisslink自组网功能。第一台kisslink已经设置完成并能够连接互联网后，第二台只需要插上电源线即可。
用“kiss”第一台路由器的手机，依次“kiss”其他路由器，多台kisslink会自动地组成一个网络信号覆盖范围，同时WiFi
名称会自动变为第一台路由器的WiFi名称。
2. 使用问题
为什么配置页面提示“not found”？
请退回浏览器界面查看能否上网，如果不行需再重新配置一遍。
为什么kisslink发出鸣响？
如果您处于公共场合，有可能是因为当前kisslink所连接的无线设备超过了其设定的最大值。建议您可以在连接设备
相对少的环境下再次使用。
为什么kisslink指示灯环晚上不亮了？
考虑到有些用户睡觉时对灯光敏感，kisslink出厂默认设定在晚上10点至次日早晨7点，自动关闭路由器灯光。
为什么我的手机一直无法通过“kiss认证”？
打开您手机的WiFi配置界面，并靠近kisslink认证面板，呼吸灯开始闪烁，尝试连接KSLINK网络，等待kisslink“嘀”的
一声，再连接KSLINK网络，手机屏幕上方出现WiFi符号，即表示成功通过“kiss认证”。如果您的手机尝试几次无法
通过，请打开飞行模式10秒钟并关闭，再尝试连接。请确保手机已经连上WiFi并重新尝试连接KSLINK网络。如果依
然无法通过，请长按禅按钮，把路由器恢复到出厂配置再进行尝试。
3. App使用问题
怎样查看固件和App的版本？
当您连接至kisslink网络后，打开App，即可查看当前路由器固件版本和App版本。如有较新版本，建议您第一时间
更新固件版本和App版本。
为什么App提示获取管理员失败？
kisslink路由器默认第一台与其连接的设备为管理员。
您可以让其他管理员把您加为管理员；或者是将路由器恢复出厂设置后重新认证一次。

login information, consisting of a username and password, is provided to the customer by the ISP usually upon
activation of his or her Internet service. Most modern ISPs do not require a PPPoE login. kisslink is able to
automatically detect if a PPPoE login is required. If it is not required, kisslink will operate in its main DCHP mode
which bypasses any such login process for easy setup. To bypass the PPPoE login manually if it is not required,
please select ‘more’ on the PPPoE login page that pops up when first setting up kisslink. There, you will be able to
manually choose to switch to ‘DCHP’ mode. DCHP mode can also be activated within the kisslink App under
Setting-> Internet Setting-> DHCP Setting.
I want to set up kisslink as a range extender. My device has connected to the KSLINK network, but no popup page
or notification has appeared so I am unable to enter my existing WiFi information. How can I access the page?
If you’re using an iOS device such as an iPhone or iPad, please turn on 'Airplane Mode' for 10 seconds before turning it
off. Make sure WiFi is on again and then attempt to reconnect to the KSLINK network. If you’re using an Android or
other device, open up any browser while connected to the KSLINK network and hit refresh or enter any URL. You
should then be redirected to the setup page. If these methods are ineffective, please factory reset kisslink by
holding the Zen Button for 10 seconds and try again.
I’ve tried putting kisslink closer to my existing WiFi network, but I’m still having issues installing kisslink as a range
extender. What can I do ?
First, please check that you've entered the correct WiFi password to the existing network. If you are not 100% sure of
your existing WiFi password, you can change it in your current router settings and try connecting kisslink again. Second,
kisslink router compatibility is constantly being updated via firmware updates which improves user experience by
solving issues with kisslink connecting to existing networks. If you’re having trouble connecting kisslink to your current
network, please try updating the kisslink firmware. To upgrade kisslink, connect kisslink online by using the included
Ethernet cable to wire kisslink to your existing modem or router. Download the kisslink App on your iOS or Android
mobile device and check on the App homepage to verify if you have the latest version.
I entered my existing WiFi information to link kisslink as a range extender to my network, but the process timed out after
a minute. What's the cause?
All range extenders require an adequate signal from the existing WiFi network in order to relay and boost WiFi
coverage. Try placing kisslink closer to the current router so it is in an area where it can overlap with the existing

校园网如何使用？

WiFi signal. After doing so, please re-enter the existing WiFi information to connect and expand the network. Please
double check that you've entered the correct WiFi password to the existing network. If your existing WiFi password
is based on the older, insecure WEP encryption, please change the password settings on your existing router to use
WPA or WPA2 encryption which is supported by kisslink and all modern devices.
I’d like to install multiple kisslink routers. How do I add additional kisslink routers to my existing kisslink WiFi network?
Plug in kisslink to a power source in an area where there is a stable WiFi connection from your current kisslink router(s).
Wait for the new kisslink to start up. Authenticate a device that has already been approved for the existing kisslink
network by holding it close to the syncing panel on the new kisslink and wait for the *beep*. There is no need for the
device to join the new kisslink network. Please wait 2-4 minutes for the new kisslink to sync with the existing kisslink
network. Afterwards, it will repeat the existing signal as one single network.
How do I hard reset kisslink?
To restore kisslink to its factory settings including the deletion of approved devices, please hold down the Zen Button for
10 seconds until you hear a *beep*. The LED light should turn green. After it changes to blue, kisslink has been successfully
reset.
Can I use other USB adapters to power kisslink?
Yes! You can use any USB adapter including ones for your cell phone. You can even power kisslink via a computer or a
mobile power bank.
What is the range and device capacity of kisslink?
The honest answer about the WiFi range and device capacity of routers is that they are extremely difficult to determine.
Nobody lives in a vacuum or a completely empty, open space. The layout of every home, office, or shop is different. No
matter how strong or stable a WiFi signal is, it will evidently suffer from interference caused by obstacles (ie. walls, doors,
furniture, etc.) that are in its way. Furthermore, the device capacity of a router is hugely dependent on the task that the
devices are performing. Devices connected to the same router streaming high-quality 4k video would inevitably cause
extreme slowdown. Our best real world estimate for the area that kisslink can cover is 60m to 80m and the maximum
recommended number of devices is 30 connected at one time.

Usage Questions
How do I authenticate and connect my devices through KISSTM proximity technology?
Make sure you’ve opened the WiFi selection page on your device before holding it close to the syncing panel on
kisslink. Your device is most receptive when it is on this page which allows kisslink to quickly discover and
authenticate your device. You’ll notice the LED lights pulsing blue. Wait for a *beep* and click the open KSLINK
network. Your device should connect to the network after that.
I’m unable to connect my device to the KSLINK network through KISSTM authentication. What can I do?
Please ensure that WiFi is turned on for your device. In the WiFi selection page on your device, you should be able to
see the KSLINK network while physically bringing your device close to the syncing panel for authentication. If the
LED light continues to flash blue and your device cannot connect to the KSLINK network, please turn on ‘Airplane
Mode’ for 10 seconds before turning it off. Make sure WiFi is on again and try to authenticate the device once more.
If this method is ineffective, please factory reset kisslink by holding the Zen Button for 10 seconds.
Does kisslink require NFC or Bluetooth compatibility for devices to connect via KISSTM ?
No, all kisslink routers use our patent-pending KISSTM technology based on WiFi. If your device connects to WiFi, it
can be authenticated by KISSTM.
I’d like to connect stationary devices to kisslink. What are some other methods to connect devices besides KISSTM ?
kisslink enables the option to connect devices to the kisslink network via the Zen Button, traditional WPA2
passwords, or the kisslink App for iOS and Android. For the Zen Button method, first select and join the open KSLINK
network on your device. Although it will not be able to connect, this step allows kisslink to detect that a device is
requesting access to the network. Immediately press the Zen Button on kisslink (within 20 seconds of selecting the
network) to grant access. Afterwards, select the open KSLINK network again on your device and it will be able to
successfully connect. By default, another method for devices to connect is to access the hidden KSLINKX network
via an unique WPA2 password. In order to do so, please manually enter the network name (SSID) on your device as
it will not appear on the list of available WiFi networks. The name of your hidden WiFi network is ‘KSLINK****** X’
with ‘*’ representing the same six digits as your default KSLINK network. For example, if your open KSLINK SSID is

‘KSLINK123456’, then your hidden network would be ‘KSLINK123456 X’. The ‘X Password’ for this network is located
on the label at the bottom of your kisslink router. Simply connect in the same way you would with a traditional WiFi
network. Finally, you can also use the kisslink App to connect devices. It has a feature to approve, forget, ban, or
even set time limits on devices.
Do devices need to be authenticated each time they connect to the kisslink network?
No. Unless you specifically set a time limit for devices for your network via the kisslink App, devices only need to be
authenticated once for continued access to the kisslink network.
I cannot connect to the hidden KSLINKX network with my ‘X Password’. What can do I do?
We recommend downloading the kisslink App. You can easily unhide the KSLINKX network as well as change the default
password to one of your choosing. If you do not wish to download the App on your mobile device, we’ll be able to help as
well. Please first ensure that you’ve correctly entered the SSID for the hidden KSLINKX network (KSLINK****** X) as well
as the ‘X Password’ shown on the bottom your kisslink router. If the network cannot be accessed, please send an email
titled “X Password Inquiry” to [email protected] with the MAC address located on the label at the bottom of your
kisslink. We will be able to provide you with your unique default password as well as help you troubleshoot any other
problems you may have.
The LED light around kisslink is turned off. What’s going on?
By default, kisslink turns off its standby LED light at night from 22:00 to 7:00. This feature is to ensure that the LED light
does not interfere with your sleep. It can be changed in the kisslink App.
My devices have full WiFi signal, but it seems they are not connected to the Internet. What can I do?
This issue is typically caused by a kisslink in range extender mode being placed too far away from the existing router.
Always make sure to place kisslink in area that overlaps the existing WiFi network to ensure that it is able to receive an
adequate signal. It is best to place kisslink in between an area with strong WiFi coverage and an area where you wish to
expand that coverage.

I’d like to access additional features such as remotely managing my network, changing SSIDs/passwords,
customizing the LED light, adding additional WiFi networks, etc. Where can I download the kisslink App?
The kisslink App is available on the Google Play store for Android and the Apple App Store for iOS. Just search for
‘kisslink’. If you have trouble finding the App, you can also download the apk file for Android on our website.
I’ve installed the kisslink App. How do I gain admin access?
Follow the instructions through the App and place your device close to the syncing panel to approve your device as
an admin. If there is already an existing admin, please request access from them to grant your device access. If the
existing admin is no longer available, you must factory reset kisslink by holding down the Zen Button for 10 seconds.

I’m connected to the open KSLINK network and the WiFi icon on my device shows an exclamation mark. What does this
‘!’ mean?
This symbol simply means that your device has determined that it’s connected to an open KSLINK network. Other open
WiFi networks cannot protect themselves from others attempting to join. However, the open KSLINK network is
protected by KISSTM so your network is secure. If your device cannot connect online, you can attempt to run the
diagnostics procedure that is offered on PC and Macs. For further support, please contact us at [email protected].
Does kisslink as a range extender boost WiFi speeds?
Range extenders increase and improve WiFi coverage. They do not have a significant impact on WiFi speeds. They are
meant to boost signal strength in areas of your home where the WiFi coverage is weak or inconsistent. By placing kisslink
in an area of your home that overlaps the existing WiFi network and an area with poor WiFi coverage, kisslink is able to
relay that existing signal to those weak WiFi spots. kisslink has the additional benefit of incorporating enterprise
networking technology which enables a more stable and reliable connection for your devices.

What is ‘LAN isolation’ in the App?
LAN isolation is a security feature that is turned off by default so devices such as those that use Apple AirPlay can
connect with one another on the same network. To prevent devices from gaining access to each other, LAN
isolation can be turned on in the kisslink App.
How do I update the kisslink firmware?
Use your iOS or Android device to download the kisslink App. It's available in both the Apple App Store and Google
Play Store. Authenticate and connect that device to the kisslink network and ensure that it can access the Internet.
Open the kisslink App and follow the prompt to bring your device close to the syncing panel again to gain admin
access. On the App homepage, it will display the router version. If the firmware is up-to-date, then a checkmark √
will be displayed. If the firmware needs to be updated, then an upward arrow ↑ will appear. Click on the arrow ↑
and following the instructions to update kisslink. Please note that kisslink may need to restart upon completion
which may cause devices to temporarily disconnect.

What is the company warranty policy?
All kisslink products come with a 1-year limited warranty. It will cover any defects in materials and workmanship
under reasonable usage. Depending on the severity of the problem covered by warranty, the unit may need to be
sent back to us. The cost for the customer would be the postage of the one-way shipping. We would ship a working
unit back to you free of charge.
