safety warnings
For your continued safety and to reduce the risk of injury or electric shock,
please follow all the safety precautions listed below.
WARNING!
• Never stop the appliance before the end of the drying cycle unless all items
are quickly removed and spread out so that the heat is dissipated.
• The appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device,
such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and
off by a utility.
• If you will not be using the machine for a while such as when you go on
holiday, disconnect the plug from the mains supply and turn off the water
supply. This is particularly important if there is no drainage around the
machine.
• If the water supply is left on, water pressure may build up and cause a leak.
Turn off water supply after use.
General Use
• Transit bolts are used to transport the machine. You should remove these
using a spanner or similar tool before you install the machine. If you do not,
it will cause strong vibrations when the machine is spinning.
• Do not install your machine anywhere that is damp or exposed to
explosive materials. If you do, it may cause an electric shock, fire, failure or
deterioration.
• Do not pour water directly onto any part of the machine. It may cause a
short circuit or electric shock.
• Items that have been soiled with substances such as cooking oil, acetone,
alcohol, petrol, kerosene, spot removers, turpentine, waxes and wax
removers should be washed in hot water with an extra amount of detergent
before being dried in the tumble dryer.
• Items such as foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, water-proof textiles,
rubber-backed articles and clothes or pillows fitted with foam rubber pads
should not be dried in the appliance.
• The machine can be used on textiles suitable for machine washing and
drying.
• CAUTION: Do not connect the machine to hot water. The machine works
with cold water only.
• The appliance is to be connected to the water mains using the new hose-
set supplied. Old hose-sets should not be reused.

• Before you start using the machine, turn the tap on to check that the hose is
properly connected. If it’s not, there may be a water leak.
• Do not put too much laundry or detergent into the machine. It may cause
issues with the machine or laundry.
• The appliance is not to be used if industrial chemicals have been used for
cleaning.
• Lint must not be allowed to accumulate around the appliance.
• Do not dry unwashed items in the appliance.
• Fabric softeners, or similar products, should be used as specified by the
fabric softener instructions.
• The appliance must not be installed behind a lockable door, a sliding door
or a door with a hinge on the opposite side to that of the appliance, in such
a way that a full opening of the appliance door is restricted.
• Be careful not to get your laundry caught in the door when you close it. This
could cause a water leak or damage your laundry.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications
such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
• This appliance is not intended to be used in areas for communal use in
blocks of flats or in launderettes. It is for indoor use only and not intended to
be built-in.
• Adequate ventilation should be provided. The ventilation openings in the
base of the machine must not be obstructed by a carpet.
• Your product is suitable to operate in ambient temperatures between 0°C
and 40°C.
• Ambient temperatures between 15°C and 25°C are ideal temperatures for
your product.
Power Source and Cable
• Use an independent household dedicated mains socket, rated at 13 Amp
220V to 240V AC. If the machine is plugged in with other appliances, it may
overheat and cause a fire.
• Make sure the mains plug is pushed firmly into the socket. A loose
connection may overheat and cause electrical shock or a fire.
• Check the mains lead and mains plug for any damage. If the mains cable
is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
