GENERAL & SPECIFIC
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

ELECTRICAL INFORMATION
WARNING: YOUR AIR MOVER MUST BE CONNECTED TO A 120V, 15-AMP. BRANCH
CIRCUIT. FAILURE TO CONNECT IN THIS WAY CAN RESULT IN INJURY FROM
SHOCK OR FIRE.
120V OPERATION
As received from the factory, your Air Mover is
ready to run for 120V operation. This Air Mover
is intended for use on a circuit that has an
grounded outlet and a grounded plug which
looks like the one illustrated in Fig.1.
GROUNDING
This Air Mover must be grounded. If it should
malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a
path of least resistance for electric current, to
reduce the risk of electric shock. This Air Mover
is equipped with a cord having an equipment-
grounding conductor. The plug must be plugged
into an appropriate outlet that is properly
installed and grounded in accordance with all
local codes and ordinances.
WARNING: TO MAINTAIN PROPER
GROUNDING OF YOUR AIR MOVER, DO
NOT REMOVE OR ALTER THE PLUG
GROUNDING PRONG IN ANY MANNER.
Not all outlets are properly grounded. If you are
not sure if your outlet is properly grounded, have it checked by a qualified electrician.
WARNING: IF NOT PROPERLY GROUNDED, THIS AIR MOVER CAN CAUSE
ELECTRICAL SHOCK, PARTICULARLY WHEN USED IN DAMP LOCATIONS. TO AVOID
SHOCK OR FIRE, IF THE POWER CORD IS WORN OR DAMAGED IN ANY WAY, HAVE
IT REPLACED IMMEDIATELY.
WARNING: IT IS RECOMMENDED TO ONLY USE GFCI PROTECTED RECEPTACLES.
EXTENSION CORDS
It is not recommended to use an extension cord, but if it is unavoidable, use the proper
AWG caliber rating and the shortest extension cord possible. The use of any extension
cord will cause some loss of power. Use the chart in Fig.2 to determine the minimum wire
size (A.W.G-American Wire Gauge) extension cord. Use only extension cords which
accept the tool’s plug.
For circuits that are further away from the electrical circuit box, the wire size must be
increased proportionately in order to deliver ample voltage to the motor. Refer to Fig.2 for
wire length and size.

OPERATION
To safely use your Air Mover, follow these instructions:
1. Unpack Air Mover from carton.
2. To use your Air Mover, place it in the area most
suitable for your application. Several factors
need to be considered: the Air Mover must be
placed close enough to an AC outlet to be
plugged in (approx. 10 feet), there must be a
minimum clearance of two feet from either
side of the Air Mover to allow for proper air
flow, and the unit should not be placed where
it can become a tripping or safety hazard.
3. Place Air Mover in the proper operating
position (00, 450and 900) for your application.
Refer to the instructions further in this manual.
4. To use multiple Air Movers (up to 3 Air Movers), refer to the Multiple Air Mover
instructions below.
5. Plug Air Mover into grounded GFCI receptacle.
6. Turn Air Mover on and select air speed by turning the 3 speed switch (A) Fig.3, by turning
it clockwise to the desired speed.
7. When your drying job is completed, turn the Air Mover off and properly store Air Mover.
Using Multiple Air Movers
1. Your Air Mover comes with two 120V
receptacles (A) Fig.4 for the use with multiple
Air Movers (up to 3). To use this feature,
position the first Air Mover following the
operation instructions in the section above.
This Air mover may be turned on while
connecting multiple Air Movers.
2. Plug the second Air Mover into one of the
receptacles on the first Air Mover. Place the
second unit in the operation position and the
area most suitable for your application. The second Air Mover may now be turned on.
3. A third Air Mover can be plugged into the remaining receptacle on the first Air Mover or
plugged into one of the receptacles in the second Air Mover. The third Air Mover may
now be turned on.
4. The receptacles on the unit are equipped with a thermal protector/reset button (B) Fig.4
which will shut off power to the Air Mover should the receptacles become overloaded. If
this happens, move the switch to the off position on the first Air Mover and any Air
Movers connected to it. Wait 5 minutes or more for the Air Mover to cool down, then
press the reset button, then turn the Air Mover on again, and any Air Movers connected
to it. If the thermal protector trips again, reduce the load on the 120V receptacles. If an
extension cord is used, and thermal protector trips again, do not use extension cord.
NOTE: It is not recommended to use the receptacles on the Air Mover for appliances other
than another Air Mover of the same amperage rating.

OPERATION & STORAGE
3 Operating Positions (00, 450, 900)
The Air Mover may be set in one of 3 operating
positions as shown in Fig.5. Pick the position
best suited for your application.
1. 00position (A) Fig.5- For applications such as;
drying wet floors, shampooed carpets, etc. To
use this position simply place unit on its base.
2. 450angled position (B) Fig.5- For applications such as, drying plaster on walls or drying
wet furniture. To use this position, tilt unit backwards.
3. 900position (C) Fig.5- For applications such as; drying paint on the ceiling. To use this
position, lay the unit on the back side with the front grill pointing towards the ceiling.
Cleaning & Storage
WARNING: UNPLUG POWER CORD BEFORE CLEANING, THIS WILL REDUCE THE
RISK OF INJURY FROM THE AIR MOVER ACCIDENTALLY STARTING.
1. Clean your Air Mover before storing it. The
outside of the Air Mover can be cleaned using
a damp cloth to remove any dust or residue.
2. Wrap the power cord around the carry handle
on the top of the Air Mover.
3. If you have more than one Air Mover to store,
they can be stacked during storage as shown
in Fig.6. Stack the units by placing them on
their sides. Do not stack more than 3 Air
Movers high.
4. The Air Mover should be stored indoors in a
dry environment.
Lubrication
No lubrication is necessary as the motor is equipped with lifetime lubricated bearings.
