instructions fully prior to initial use.
Every effort has been ma e to ensure that the gui ance information on this sheet will enable
the installation of the Lantern to be carrie out safely an correctly.
This pro uct shoul be installe by a competent person an
in accor ance with the current IEE Wiring Regulations.
If in oubt, consult a qualifie electrician.
Always switch off mains supply before servicing, fitting or replacing lamps. Always check the
lamp is correct for the application, inclu ing its voltage an wattage. Never excee the
maximum wattage. Ensure the lamp is correctly locate in the lamphol er.
1. Remove screws (2off) securing front cover.
2. Hol the back cover up to the wall in the esire fixing position, mark hole positions.
This fitting shoul not be fitte to wet or amp surfaces such as freshly plastere or
painte walls.
3. Drill holes on the points marke on the wall in step 2, use an ø8mm rill bit an insert
rawl plugs prior to screwing into position.
4. Cut a hole in the rubber grommet in the back cover an fee the mains cable through.
5. Connect the live an neutral cables to the 3-way terminal block an then relocate the
connector onto the back cover, see fig.2for etails. NOTE: Earth terminal is provi e for
convenience as this is a class II pro uct.
6. Secure back cover in esire position using the holes rille in step 3, screws supplie .
7. Screw lamp (Halogen 42W or CFL 14W E27 ES) into lamphol er.
8. Locate the front cover of the fitting onto the back cover that was secure to the wall in
Step 6then re-secure using the screws that were remove in step 1.
9. Turn on mains supply to test the fitting.
