Please ensure that the pump is in a stationary
position with a fixed pipeline or with a flexible
hose pipe.
The pump should not be installed by suspending it
unsupported from the delivery pipe or power cable and
should therefore be submerged via a rope fixed to the
pumps carry handle for it to be placed on the bottom
of the shaft. The pump shaft should have minimum
dimensions of 40 x 40 x 50cm, so that the floating
switch can move freely. Please note: The pump is
automatically switched off on overheating by the
built-in thermal cut-out. After having cooled down,
the motor automatically switches on again.

This submersible pump is an approved, maintenance-free high quality product, it is recommended
that regular inspection and maintenance is carried out to ensure long life of the submersible pump
and uninterrupted use.
Whilst the pump is in use it is essential to check that the level of water does not sink too far.
Any sludge in the shaft may dry out quickly and stop the pump from starting up. It is necessary,
therefore, to check the submersible pump regularly (by carrying out start-up tests). The floater is
adjusted in a way that the pump can immediately be started.
After having pumped chlorinated swimming pool water, pond water or other liquids leaving
residues, the pump should be rinsed with clear water. The bottom of the shaft must be kept
free of sludge and debris of all kinds in order to guarantee that the pump works properly.
Your new submersible pump is equipped with a shock-proof plug according to the regulations.
The pump is designed to be connected to a 13 Amp 3 pin socket which has been installed
according to regulations. The plug must have a supply voltage of 230V - 50Hz. Make sure that
the socket is sufficiently secured (min.6 Amp) and is in excellent condition before use.
Always ensure the electrical supply is fitted
with a R.C.D. ground fault circuit interrupter
with a nominal trip current of max. 30mA
(according to VDE 0100, part 702 and 738).
When it is being used in swimming pools or
garden ponds the pump must not be operated
while people are in the swimming pool or in
the garden pond!
Always protect the pump from frost.
Always fix a rope to the pump’s carrying handle
to submerge or lift it.
Always keep children away from the work area.
Always check if the pump rests firmly on
the ground.
Always check that the delivering hose is
fixed securely
Always check if electrical connection is
230V - 50Hz
Always check if socket is in good condition.
Always ensure that water and humidity are
kept away from the mains supply.
Never use a damaged pump.
Never let the pump run dry.
Never use continuously in a pond.

Designed for private use around the house and
garden.
It is predominantly used for drainage after flooding,
transport of liquids, draining containers and taking
water from wells and shafts.
Liquids which can be handled are: Clean and
contaminated water, swimming pool water and
soapy water. The pump is fully submersible and can
be immersed in the liquid to a depth of 5m.
Please note: Corrosive, easily combustible or
explosive substances (e.g. gasoline, petroleum,
nitro thinner), fats oils, salt-water and waste water
must not be pumped. The submersible pump is not
to be operated out of the water.
