▶ High Sensitivity
- Clear image even under the illuminance of 0.002 by adopting 1/3 INCH SONY SUPER HAD CCD.
▶ 540 TV Lines
- Clear image quality of 540 TV lines in its horizontal resolution by adopting COLOR CCD
with 410,000 pixels.
▶DNR (Digital Noise Reduction)
- Applies DNR DSP CHIP for the effective reduction of noise under low illuminance, the increase of horizontal
resolution the clear image even at dim places by improved S/N ratio.
▶Electronic Day & Night Function
- Automatically discerns day and night settings and electronically switches into the mode appropriate to

※ Warnings
- Please contact your local seller or service center if the product does not work normally.
- Do neither disassemble the product at user's discretion nor insert any alien material into it.
- Do not personal installation by a user.
- Do not touch a plug with a wet hand.
- Stop to use the product if smoke comes out from camera or abnormal high heat is emitted.
- Do not install the product at humid place or the places exposed to oils or gases.

Note : For effective realization of the product's major performances, it is recommended to use DC type iris lens.
[Alien substances or fingerprints on the lens surface may cause poor image quality under low illuminance, so always keep clean].

1. Please peel off about 8mm of the outer skin of the automatic iris lens cable.

3. After removing connection plug cap from automatic iris lens, connect and solder lens cable to connector pins of connection plug.
4. After removing the lens protection cap in the
front side of the product, combine automatic
iris lens by turning it clockwise.
5. Insert the connection plug connected to
automatic iris lens cable into AUTO IRIS
connector in the back side of the product.
6. According to the automatic
iris lens used, select VIDEO or
DC mode using lens selection switch.

- Use 5 buttons in the Back side of the product to set up OSD MENU functions.

- Pressing LEFT or RIGHT button, selectable values or states are displayed in order.

4. To finish set up mode, select EXIT in OSD MENU and then press SET UP button of camera.

For the modes displaying symbol, press SET UP button to go to sub menus.
For the modes displaying - - - symbol, such mode cannot be used according to the present set up states.

If automatic iris lens is attached, the lens selection switch
in the back side of the product should be set at DC or VIDEO.
If DC lens is selected, the brightness of screen can be adjusted
within the range from 1 to 70. (Make a proper adjustment for
optimal screen brightness).

FLK : When FLICKER occurs due to the influence of lightings around the product or the discordance
in frequency, select "FLK" mode.
◎
ESC : Can automatically control shutter speed. Selecting "ESC" automatically controls shutter speed
according to the brightness of screen.
◎
MANUAL : Can manually control shutter speed.

[Notes]
If DC/VIDEO lens is selected, shutter speed is fixed at 1/60(1/50) second.
If shutter is set as "ESC" in internal synchronization method and camera directly faces fluorescent lamp,
image may become unstable. Select installation place carefully.
If SHUTTER menu is on MANUAL mode, SENS UP function does not work.

Adjustment of Shutter Mode and Speed
Selects automatic or manual control of shutter.
1. If SET UP menu is displayed, make an arrow point to "SHUTTER" item using UP or DOWN button.
2. Press LEFT or RIGHT button to select the type of lens to be used.
3. Set "SHUTTER" as "MANUAL" and press SETUP button
to manually control shutter. (Shutter speed can be adjusted
within the range from 1/60(1/50) to 1/120,000 second).
4. Press SETUP button after finishing setup.

How to Set OSD MENU SET UP Functions
■
Adjustment of WHITE BALANCE
Use this function if the color adjustment in screen is necessary.
1. If SET UP menu is displayed, make an arrow point to "WHITE BAL" item using UP or DOWN button.
2. Press LEFT or RIGHT button to select a desired mode.

ATW : Used in color temperature from 1,800˚K to 10,500˚K.
◎
AWC : To get the most appropriate state under the present conditions,
aim camera to white paper and press SETUP button.
If environment is changed, it should be readjusted.
◎
MANUAL : If selected, fine tuning is available. After selecting ATW or
AWC and switching to MANUAL mode, press SETUP button. After setting
proper color temperature, increase or decrease the values of RED or BLUE
while observing the color changes of the subject shown in the screen.
[Notes]
In the following conditions, WHITE BALANCE may not function well.
1) If surroundings of the subject have extremely high color temperature (e.g. : clear sky, at dusk).
2) If surroundings of the subject is dark.
3) If camera directly faces fluorescence lamp or is installed at the places where lights is considerably changed.

If BLC is selected for the subject under the strong backlight, both the subject and its background
can be clearly seen.

1. If SET UP screen is displayed, make an arrow point to "AGC" item using UP or DOWN button.
2. Press LEFT or RIGHT button to select a desired mode.
(The higher GAIN level is, the brighter the screen becomes but the more NOISE increases).

DNR Function (DIGITAL NOISE REDUCTION)
As GAIN increases or decreases, DNR function automatically reduces background noise of low illuminance.
1. If SET UP menu is displayed, make an arrow point to "DNR" item using UP or DOWN button.
2. Press LEFT or RIGHT button to select a desired mode.

OFF : has no noise reduction effect.
◎
LOW : has a low noise reduction effect but nearly no
residual images.
◎
MIDDLE : has the most general effect in noise reduction
with considerable decrease in noise and smaller
residual image effect.
◎
HIGH : has the greatest effect in noise reduction,
but also has the severest residual image effect.

Automatically detects darkness at night or under dim light and keeps clear images.
1. If SET UP screen is displayed, make an arrow point to "SENS UP" item using UP or DOWN button.

[Notes]
Press SET UP button in AUTO menu to adjust magnification (12 steps).
As magnification becomes higher, the screen becomes brighter but the residual image of moving object grows more.
If magnification is increased when SEN UP works, noise or spots may occur. But such phenomenon is normal.
[Notes]
If AGC is set as OFF mode, SENS UP function doesn't work.
If SHUTTER is set as MANUAL mode, SENS UP function
doesn't work.

CAMERA ID : If a user inputs an ID of installed CAMERA,
such CAMERA ID is displayed in monitor.
1) Using UP or DOWN button, make an arrow point to
"CAMERA ID" item.
2) By pressing LEFT or RIGHT button, set the present
state as "ON."
[Notes]
If CAMERA ID is set as "OFF" mode, even if input by a user, it is not displayed in the monitor screen.
If CAMERA ID is set as "ON" mode, it is displayed in the screen of installed monitor.

4) Up to 15 letters are available for CAMERA ID.
Camera ID

(1) Using LEFT or RIGHT button, move cursor to a desired letter.
(2) Using UP,DOWN or LEFT, RIGHT button, select letters out of
A to Z, a to z, or 0 to 9.
(3) Press SET UP, fix a selected letter.
※
If pressing SET UP button to fix a selected letter,
cursor moves the next space.
(4) After completing to input a desired CAMERA ID, place cursor at "END"
and press SET UP button to finish.
[Notes]
If a wrong ID is input, move cursor to CLR and press SET UP to clear all letters input. To modify a letter,
move cursor to the arrow at the bottom left corner and press SET UP. Move and place cursor to a letter
that a user wants to input, and press SET UP button.

5) If CAMERA ID is created, select the location where created CAMERA ID is displayed.
(1) After moving cursor to "POS," press SET UP.
(2) A created CAMERA ID is displayed at the upper
left corner of screen.

(3) If CAMERA ID is displayed as shown in the picture above, select the location of CAMERA ID
in the screen using UP, DOWN or LEFT, RIGHT button, and press SET UP.
(4) After the location is fixed, select "END" and press SET UP to finish ID input.

COLOR (Electronic Day & Night)
◎
AUTO : Automatically discern day or night settings and switches to the appropriate mode for the surrounding conditions.
While mode is switched to COLOR during the day, it is switched to B/W at night.
◎
ON : Mode isn't automatically switched and fixed at COLOR.
■
SYNC : In the area of 60Hz(50Hz), a user can put output phases of several units in tune using Line Lock
function without a synchronizing signal generator.

Camera is more liable to be out of focus under an infrared lighting than general ones.
INT : Internal Synchronization Method.
LL : Line Lock Method (AC 24V).

[Note]
In a product using DC 12V, SYNC is fixed at "INT" mode.

- This product can detect motions of subject in the 4 areas on screen. During the motion detection,
a message "MOTION DETECTION" is displayed, which enables a person to do his job effectively.
The motions of subject are detected by the differences in its
contour, brightness, and color.
(1) Press SET UP button
- OFF : deselects the function.
- ON : detects a MOTION occurred in a selected area.
(2) In AREA SEL, select one among 4 areas where a user does
motion detection.
(3) Change the state of a selected area to ON.
(4) Using UP, DOWN or LEFT, RIGHT button,
adjust the size of detection area.
(5) Press SET UP button to save the changed value and finish.

in the screen.
- OFF : deselects the function.
- ON : turns on PRIVACY function.
(2) In AREA SEL, select one among 4 areas that a user wants
to hide.
(3) Change the state of a selected area to ON.
(4) Using UP, DOWN or LEFT, RIGHT button, adjust the
size of an area to be hidden.
(5) Using AREA TONE, adjust the TONE
of an area to be hidden.

MIRROR
- OFF : sets the reversal of a horizontal image.
- ON : deselects the reversal.

SHARPNESS
- If a user increases its level, the contour of image becomes sharpened and clear.
Please adjust appropriately according to the image values.
If set too higher, images may be seen as unnatural or noise may occur.
(1) Press SET UP button
- A user can select a desired SHARPNESS level from 0 to 31.

RESET : Returns to ex-factory default setup values.
■
RETURN : Goes back to SETUP menu after saving SPECIAL menu.
■
EXIT : Exits from SET UP menu after saving setups.

Troubleshooting

If a trouble or disorder occurred in the product, please check the following points.
Trouble Check Points
- Is noting displayed in the screen?
- Isn't the screen clear?
- Is the screen dim?
- Isn't the color matched?
- Are black lines shown in the camera
image screen?
- Check that the power is normally connected to the constant voltage
adaptor (DC12V/500mA).
- Check that the video signal is normally connected.
- In case VIDEO (DC) lens is used, check that the selection switch for
automatic lens are properly set at DC/VIDEO.
- Check that lens is stained with alien substances or dusts.
- Check the monitor state.
- If too much bright lays are infused into the camera under the present
installation angle, please adjust such angle.
- Readjust the back focus of camera.
- Adjust the monitor state.
- If automatic iris lens is used, properly adjust the brightness of the lens.
- Check whether "WHITE BAL." is properly set in functional setup.
- Check the adaptor connected to the camera.
(Check that there is no problem in rated voltage).

Trouble
Check Points
- Does not the motion detection work?
- Is there a flicker on the screen?
- Is Line Lock mode setup unavailable?
- Doesn't COLOR (day & night) work?
- Doesn't SENS UP work?
- Check whether MOTION DETECTION function is set as "OFF"?
If so, set the function as "ON."
- Is MD LEVEL set too low?
- Is MD AREA set appropriately?
- Is camera lens directed to the sun or fluorescent lamp?
- Check the installation angle of camera.
- If DC12V/300mA is used, Line Lock function doesn't work.
- Check whether "AGC" is set as "OFF." If so, change the state of
AGC to "ON."
- Check whether "AGC" is set as "OFF."
If so, change the state of AGC to "ON."
- Check whether SHUTTER is set as "MANUAL."
If so, change such mode to ESC.
