OUTDOOR IP CAMERA
General Introduction
The ASFCAM2 is an outdoor bullet IP camera suitable for monitoring outdoor areas around the home.
Main features
Weather proof housing to withstand long hours of outdoor operation
Powered by POE (Power-Over-Ethernet) for easy installation with option for DV12 adaptor
IR LED for clear night vision
H.265 encryption for efficient image compression
The Smart Force Gateway cloud platform is required for using this camera.
Product Overview
Cables and connectors:
*Note : these wires are not used.
Powering up the camera
Method 1: By POE
Connect the camera’s Ethernet connector to a cable from a POE-compatible equipment such as hub or
switch. Ensure that this cable provides access to internet.
Method 2: By DC adaptor (not provided)
1. Connect a 12V DC adaptor to the camera’s DC jack. Note the Ampere and polarity of the DC adaptor
fits the power requirement shown on the camera’s rating label.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please ensure the camera leads and are connections are
mounted in a suitable IP rated box.
2. Connect the camera’s Ethernet connector to a router with internet access.
Learning with Smart Force Gateway
1. Log into the Smart Force account from a web browser.
2. Select “System”, then “Add a device”.
3. Select “Camera”.
4. Enter the Access Code found on a label on the camera and click “Next step”
5. The screen below will appear if the process is successful.

Mounting the Unit
The camera can be mounted on a wall or ceiling.
1. Using the wrench supplied in the package, loosen the screw as indicated below. This will loosen the
ball joint lock of the bracket.
Note: for lock, and for unlock.
2. Fasten the bracket to the ceiling or wall using the supplied screws and wall fixings.
3. Adjust the desired angle of the camera then tighten the screw to lock its angle firmly in place.
4. Power on the camera and check the viewing angle.

2. Click the snapshot image to view live video stream from the camera.
Playback recorded videos
1. To display recorded videos, go to VIDEO page. All videos are displayed with recording date and
video duration.
2. Click on any image to play the video.
3. During playback, it is possible to move forward and back the video by dragging the time bar, change
volume level, and display in full screen.

4. To download a copy of the video onto your PC, just click “Download Video”.
Troubleshooting
The troubleshooting table lists some possible causes and solutions. Please contact your original retailer
or nearest service center if the solutions below cannot solve your problem.
