residentialfamilydwellings.Problemsoccurwhenhomeownersattempttobuildorremodel
apolebarnforaresidentialoccupancy.Issueswiththefoundationsystem,fireseparation,
plumbingandroofdesignmayoccur.Theseissuescanrequirecostlyalterationstobringthe
structureintocompliancewiththecurrentbuildingcodesadoptedbyLaramieCounty.
Inaddition,theremaybeLandUseregulationsthatprohibitasecondresidenceoraresidence
createdforarentalunit.Ifthepolebarnisbuilttobeoccupiedasaresidentialdwellingit
shallmeettherequirementsofthe2015InternationalResidentialCode,shallbepermitted
witharesidentialpermitandmeettherequirementsoftheLaramieCountyLandUse
Regulations.
