lead, Respiration, Temperature, Non-Invasive Blood
Pressure, Pulse Oximetry, Invasive Blood Pressure
(two standard and two optional channels),
Microstream Capnography (optional) and it has
external connection facility for Gas monitoring module.
Star 55 has an optional Inbuilt two channel thermal
array recorder which can record online data (any two
waveforms out of ECG waveform, plethysmograph,
respiration/capnogrpahy, O2, AA and Invasive blood
pressure w/f along with numerical values of all
parameters). Star 55 also has a feature of Drug
calculator and an Oxygen Cardio Respirograph.
Star 55 is a multi channel monitor with selectable
waveform display facility for ECG (Lead I / II / III /
aVR / aVL / aVF / V1-V6 ), Plethysmograph,
Respiration, Invasive Blood Pressure (IBP1, IBP2, IBP3
and IBP4), O2, AA and Capnography (CO2). It also
displays the digital values of HR/PR, SpO2,
Respiration Rate, Non-Invasive and Invasive Blood
Pressure (Systolic, Diastolic and Mean), Temperature,
N2O, O2, EtAA ,FiAA and CO2(EtCO2and FiCO2)
readings. Star 55 has graded and colour coded
alarms. It has 72 hours tabular and graphical trend
for 200 patients of all parameters except NIBP. Star 55
has special tabular trend for NIBP to store last 240
readings. Recall feature offers storage of last 24 critical
alarm conditions and ECG trend.
Star 55 also has a feature of SD Card (Optional).
Star 55 has different communication modules for various

Indication For Use
The Star 55 multiparameter patient monitoring system is intended to monitor a single
adult, pediatric or neonatal patient's vital signs at the bedside or during intra-hospital
transport along with the appropriate accessories mentioned / supplied with the unit.
Vital signs parameter include ECG (3/5 lead), SpO2, Respiration, Temperature ,
Capnography (CO2) and can be connected to an optional External Gas module unit.
It can also display the digital values of HR/PR, SpO2, RR, Invasive and Non-invasive
Blood Pressure (Systolic, Diastolic and Mean), EtCO2, FiCO2and temperature.
Parameters like N2O, O2, EtAA and FiAA can be displayed when connected to the
optional External Gas module unit.
The user, responsible to interpret the monitored data made available, will be a
professional health care provider. The device permits patient monitoring with
adjustable alarm limits as well as visible and audible alarm signals. The monitor is
