avaluabletoolinhelpingyoutounderstandallthefeaturesandfunctions.
vDonotoperatetheunitinanywayotherthandescribedwithinthismanual.
Failuretofollowtheinstructionswithinthemanualwillinvalidateyour

vSAFETYFIRST!Donotinstallthedisplaywhereitmay(i)obstructthe
driver’svision,(ii)impairtheperformanceofanyofthevehicle’soperating
systemsorsafetyfeatures,includingairbags,or(iii)impairthedriver’s
abilitytosafelyoperatethevehicle.
vWhenusingthesystem,makesureyouarefirmlysecuredbyyourseat
belttoensureyoudonotaccidentallyhityourheadonthescreenduring
suddenbrakingorotherincidents.Ifyouareeverinanaccident,injuries
canbemoresevereiftheseatbeltisnotproperlybuckled.
vDonotattempttoinstallorserviceyourdisplaybyyourself.Installationor
servicingofthedisplaybypersonswithouttrainingandexperiencein
electronicequipmentandautomotiveaccessoriesmaybedangerousand
couldexposeyoutotheriskofelectricshockorotherhazards.
vBecarefulnottodrainthecarbatterywhileusingtheunitwiththecar
enginestopped.Toavoiddrainingthebattery,itissuggestedthatthe
vehicleenginealwaysisrunningwhileusingtheunit.
vDonotdisassembleoraltertheunitinanyway.Failuretodosocancause
damagetotheunitandinvalidthewarranty.
vNevercleanthesurfaceofthescreenwithchemicalsolventorcorrosive
detergent,whichmaycausepermanentdamagetotheTFTLCDscreen.
vAvoidinstallingtheunitwhereverisunderdirectsunlightornearhotair
vent.Pleasenotethatthenormalworkingtemperatureoftheunitis
between-5 to+50 .Iftheinternaltemperatureofthevehicleis
extremelyhigh,ashortcoolingdownperiodisnecessarybeforeoperating
theunit.
vIfthetemperatureinsidethecarisverylowandthemonitorisusedsoon
afterswitchingontheheater,moisturemayformonthepaneloftheunit.
Turnofftheunitimmediately!Failuretodosomaycausetheinternal
componentstoshort.Allowtheunittorestforaboutonehourtoallowthe
condensationtodisappearbeforecontinueoperation.
vInextremelycoldtemperatures,themovementofthepicturemaybeslow
andthepicturemaybedark.Itisnotamalfunction.Theunitwillwork
normallyonceitreachesitsoperatingtemperature.
vDonotdroporhittheLCDpanelwithahardobject,asitmaycause
permanentdamagetotheLCDpanel.ShouldLCDpanelbreak,avoid

touchingglassandfluid.Ifdo,pleasecleanitwithplentyofwaterandask
formedicalattentionimmediately.
vDuetodifferentcarspecifications,pleasekindlyensuethatthedisplay
monitorisproperlylocatedandnotobstructingtheair-conditioningvent.
vAvoidinsertinganyforeignobjectsintotheslotofthediscPlayer.Failure
toobservethismaycausemalfunctionduetotheprecisemechanismof
thisunit.
vProtectyourdisc.Whenyouleavethecar,besuretoejectthediscfrom
thisunitandstoreitseparatelyawayfromdirectsunlight.
vHeatandhumiditymaydamagethediscandyoumaynotbeabletoplayit

Open
the
monitor
1. PressthePanelopenbuttontolower
theoverheadmonitorscreen.
2. GentlyswingtheLCDdownandadjust
theangleforviewing.
CAUTION:TheLCDopenstoamaximum
angleof120 degrees.Donotattempttoopenitfurther.
Stow
the
monitor
Gentlypushthebacksideofthedisplaypaneluntilitclicksintotheoverhead
housing.Themonitorturnsoffautomaticallywhenyoureturnittotheclosed
position.
Note:Whenclosingthedisplaypanel,donotletcordsorotheritemsget
caughtbetweenthedisplayandtheoverheadhousing.Doingsocan
eriouslydamagethescreen.
Foryoursafety,closetheLCDpanelwhenyouarenotusingit.
Turn the player on / off
1.Usethesystemwiththevehiclerunningorwiththeignitionkeyswitchin
the"accessory"position.
2.Tolowerthescreen,pressthePanelOpenbuttonandmovethescreen
intoaviewingpositive.Thesystemwillpoweronautomatically.
