5. Get ready for the use
5.1 Open the box, and check equipment model is correct, accessories is complete or
not, otherwise, please contact your dealer.
5.2 SIM card choice, terminal need to insert a GSM SIM card, the choice of SIM card
please refer the the opinion of dealer.
Notice:
Please use GSM Network SIM Card;
Please power off before install or remove the SIM card;
Terminal SIM card need to open the GPRS function;
Terminal SIM card need to open the Caller Identification function.

6. Working mode
There are four work modes for this device:
Mode 1 (Standard Mode)
Terminal GPS work all the time, and upload data regularly .
Mode 2 (Power Saving Mode, defaults mode for the terminal)
The terminal immediately report data after GPS positioning, and then go to sleep
situation. 10 minutes (The Minimum time of this mode is 5 minutes) later Automatic
open GPS. Such a cycle working (If not position successfully will upload base station
location data, and need platform to support)
Mode 3 (Base Station Location Mode)
GPS do not work, gain base station positioning data and report (Need platform to
support)
GPS will be wake up when Centre number dial in or send SMS to the terminal,
working 2 minutes and then sleep.
Mode 4 (No Platform Mode, The Minimum Power Consumption)
This mode do not need platform, only reply in the use of url# SMS command queries
google the map link.
Change Working mode commands are: m1,20# m2,620# m3,20# m4#
Instructions described: m1 is Mode 1, 20 is upload interval time. The upload interval
time of Mode 1 and Mode 3 are 10- 65535 Seconds.
The upload interval time of Mode 2 is 300-65535 Seconds. (Details about the upload
interval please check command sheet)
7. Terminal operation
7.1 LED and device screen display declaration

the position without any display indicates the GPS module does

GPS and GSM two lights are normal ON, both are OFF after the
upgrade.
7.2 Power ON/OFF
Power ON: Insert effective SlM Card to the terminal. Long press the power switch,
power on status please see "light indication".

Power OFF: When power on, turn off the terminal power switch. Terminal will be
power off in soon. As long as effective SlM CARD be inserted in terminal(GPRS
function is opened already), it will be normally working after startup. Terminal will
upload the location information to server as the time interval setting. GPS working
period, the terminal will upload the location data regularly to server.
7.3 SOS call for help and remove the alarm
When in an emergency need for help, press the SOS button for more than 3 seconds
long, will trigger SOS emergency alarm for help. Terminal will loop calling pre-set
three numbers, under the condition of no one answered, maximum circulation call
twice. At SOS information to the platform, also can use platform issued instructions to
remove alarm or edit text SMS alarm# to remove alarm.
Note: Phone alarm function should be set up SOS specific number first !
7.4 Low battery alarm
Battery level divided into 4 levels, when the power level is less than or equal to 1, the
device will send SMS a low power alarm to the center number.
8. Online checking global service platform
Service platform webpage: http://www.track188.com
If you already have a log in account information in the platform, you can directly login
the server. Otherwise, please contact your dealer and ask them to open the accounts
for you. Provide login account and password.

Enter the user login platform, fill in the access to log in to your account and password
are presented after entering the service platform.
As for the operating instructions of the service platform please contact your dealer to
get "service platform operation guide".
9. Troubleshooting
1, The terminal for the first time boot unable to connect to the server, server show
offline. Please check：
1) If the SIM card is properly installed, please refer to installation instructions.
2)Check the LED indicator light condition, when it’s normal,GSM status indicator
bright every 0.1 seconds and go out for 2 seconds, GPS status indicator bright every
0.1 seconds and go out for 2 seconds.
3)Check if the GPS is located successful or not, if not please go to the outdoor at
open air place to locate for the first time.
2, If the terminal show offline on server
First observation if the 2 indicator lights of the equipment is normal, first check the
status of a card, the steps are as follows:
1) The SIM card is overdue bills
2) Whether GPRS business was canceled (at the end of each month date offline).
3) Check the parameter setting of the device. Check the equipment serial number,
GPRS transmission time interval is correct or not.
