SMART CAMERA
Legate Smart Home Security System
Manual Guide

Let’s Get Started.
Install the app
Download the Legate Smart Home app
from Google Play or the App Store on a
compatible phone or tablet.

Register and login
Register on the app by using your contact
number or Email address.

Connect to wifi
Make sure that your mobile phone and
smart device are connected to 2.4 GHz
wifi network.

*note: The distance between the phone and smart device should not be greater
than 4meters while pairing both devices. If the signal is week you’ll need a wifi
booster. (Recommended Wifi Booster Version: TP LINK TL-WA855RE)

Getting the Smart Device Ready
Legate Smart Camera - Connecting the Smart Device to Legate Smart Home app

Insert the USB Power Cord on the
Smart Camera’s USB Port and plug
the Power Adapter into a power outlet.

Insert Micro SD Card at the
bottom part of the camera head.
(note: Maximum Micro SD Card capacity is 256GB)
(note: You’ll hear “Camera Start” voice which indicates the Smart
Camera is ready to connect to Legate Smart Home app. If there’s no
voice, press and hold the Reset Button until a voice audio comes out)

Add Smart Device

Open Legate Smart Home app,
Click “+” or Add Device.

Under “Security & Sensor” tab
Click “Smart Camera”.

Network Configuration

Enter your Wifi Password. Then
click “Confirm” button.
(note: Only 2.4 GHz Wifi network are supported)

Click “Next Step”button.

Follow the instruction and click
“Continue” button.

After scanning the QR to the Smart
Camera, you will hear a beep sound.
Then click
“I Heard a Prompt”

Wait for the Smart Device
connects to the app.

Click “Done” button when the Smart
Device is successfully added.
(note: You can change the device’s name)

Motion Detection
Enable to set the sensitivity level of the Smart Camera’s motion detection.

Push Notification will be sent to your
phone once the Smart Camera
detects any movements.

Recording Mode
Enable to set the mode of video recording.

Push Notification
Enable to turn off the notification.

Remove Device from Legate Smart Home app
The device will restore to default settings.

Click “Remove Device”
tab.
Click “Confirm” button to
completely remove the device
from the Legate Smart Home app.
