Precautions
• Do not ope ate the oven when empty. It is
best to leave a glass of wate in the oven
when not in use. The wate will safely
abso b all mic owave ene gy if the oven
is accidentally sta ted.
• Do not d y clothes in the mic owave oven.
They may become ca bonized o bu ned if
heated too long.
• Do not cook food w apped in pape towels,
unless you cook book contains inst uctions fo
the food you a e cooking.
• Do not use the oven fo d ying kitchen towels
o pape p oducts. They may bu n.
• Do not use wooden containe s. They may
heat up and cha .
• Do not use ecycled pape p oducts since
they may contain impu ities which may
cause spa ks and/o fi es when used in
cooking.
• Allow the tu ntable to cool befo e cleaning.
• Small amounts of food equi e sho te
cooking o heating time. If no mal times
a e allowed they may ove heat and bu n.
• Befo e cooking, pie ce the skin of f uit and
vegetables.
• Do not cook eggs in thei shell.

which will bu st.
• Do not attempt deep fat f ying in you
oven.
• Remove the plastic w apping f om food
befo e cooking o def osting. Note
though that in some cases food should
be cove ed with plastic film, fo heating
o cooking, as detailed in mic owave
cook books.
• If smoke is obse ved, switch off o disconnect
the oven f om the powe supply and keep the
oven doo closed in o de to stifle any flames.
• When food is heated o cooked in disposable
containe s of plastic, pape o othe
combustible mate ials, check the oven
f equently due to the possibility of ignition.
- ARNING : Liquids o othe foods must not be heated in sealed containe s since they
a e liable to explode.
- ARNING : Only allow child en to use the oven without supe vision when adequate
inst uctions have been given so that the child is able to use the oven in a
safe way and unde stands the haza ds of imp ope use.
- ARNING : If the oven doo and doo seal a e damaged, the oven must not be
ope ated until it has been epai ed by a qualified se vice technician.
- ARNING : Do not attempt to tampe with, o make any adjustments o epai s to the
doo , cont ol panel, safety inte lock switches o any othe pa t of the oven.
It is haza dous fo anyone to ca y out any se vice o epai ope ation
which involves the emoval of any cove which gives p otection against
exposu e to mic owave ene gy. Repai should only be unde taken by a
qualified se vice technician.
