2.5Programming of the Microface controller
All values and parameters will be entered or get displayed as shown in the
example below.
The LCD Display Module allows to enter and setup any parameters of the unit
and displays any failure (warning or alarm) using individual codes.
If no key gets stroked for a while the display will return to show the parameter
P1 (first in list). In order to go through the entire list of parameters just strike
the “down” key, the next one will appear. The display always alternates to
show the value and the name of the current parameter. The system separates
3 individual groups of parameters. First those of group 0 (read only data) get
displayed, afterwards parameters of group 1 & 2 get shown. The access to the
adjustable data of groups 1 & 2 is protected by individual passwords.
The password 1 allows access to and permits to change the data of group1
only. If ones enter the password 2, however access and change of parameters
of both groups is granted.
Without or with incorrect password parameters of both groups with will be
displayed only but without the possibility to perform any modification.
To change the value of a parameter (possible only when the Password “PIN”
has been correctly inserted), scroll the list using the “up” and “down” push-
buttons until the desired parameter is displayed and press “Enter” (↵). By
pressing the “up” and “down” push buttons, it is possible to change the
corresponding value; after having obtained the required value, press enter (↵)
again. The display will show again the name of the parameter alternating with
the new value.
The Alarm section can be reached by pressing the “up” push-button when the
first parameter is on the display; alarms are pointed out according to their code
order. After having entered the alarm section, the alarm code is displayed and
every second the code is replaced by the coded description.
Pressing the “Enter” key (↵), when an alarm code is displayed on the LCD, all
the active alarms will be reset. After the reset operation, all the still active
alarms will be shown again. If there are no more active alarms, the first
parameter / value (P1) of the list will be displayed again.
