SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Most injuries are caused by misuse and/or not following instructions. Use
caution when using this system.
Owner must ensure that all players know and follow these rules for safe operation of
the system.
To ensure safety, do not attempt to assemble this system without following the
instructions carefully. Check entire box and inside all packing material for parts and/
or additional instruction material. Before beginning assembly, read the instructions
and identify parts using the hardware identier and parts list in this document.
Proper and complete assembly, use and supervision are essential for proper
orientation and to reduce the risk of accident or injury. A high probability of serious
injury exists if this system is not installed, maintained, and operated properly.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE WARNINGS MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR
PROPERTY DAMAGE AND WILL VOID WARRANTY.
• If using a ladder during assembly, use extreme caution.
• Two capable adults are recommended for this operation.
• Check base daily for leakage. Leaks will cause system to fall.
• Assemble the pole sections properly. Failure to do so could cause the pole
sections to separate during play or transport.
• Minimum operational height is 7’6” (2.23m) to the rim.

A. Identify and inventory all parts using the checklist boxes on the Parts
List. Keep the hardware bags and their contents separate. If any parts
are missing, call our Customer Service Department.
B. Test t all Bolts by inserting them into their respective holes. If
necessary, carefully scrape away any excess powder coating buildup
from inside the holes. Do not scrape away all of the powder coating.
Bare metal may rust. You may need to pound some bolts into place
with a hammer or mallet.
POLE SECTION IDENTIFICATION
Identify the pole sections before beginning assembly. Failure to assemble
the pole sections correctly may result in severe personal injury or property
damage as described on Page One.
ONCE THE POLE SECTIONS HAVE BEEN SEATED, THEY
CANNOT BE SEPARATED.
Note: Tapers and ares are exaggerated in the illustrations.

The poles must be seated together. Even if they reach the 5-inch mark before seating, you must strike them on
the wood ve to six times! Failure to seat the poles correctly could allow the poles to separate during use, which

The instructions in the following steps must be followed exactly. Failure to properly orient the
pole sections will render the pole unusable. If the pole sections are assembled incorrectly,
you will have to purchase new ones from our Customer Service Department.

INSTALLING THE POLE JOINT
SAFETY SCREWS:
Required For This Page:

Lay the pole on the ground.
The pole joint safety Screws do not replace
proper pole seating--both are required.
Always wear safety glasses when
operating power tools.
Measure up one inch from the lower pole joint
on the side of the pole with the Spring Bracket
and begin inserting the Screw (JA). Once the
Screw has entered the pole, slow the drill down
to avoid stripping the Screw.

You must follow all instructions for pole joint safety
Screw attachment and pole seating. Failure to do
so could allow the poles to separate, resulting in
property damage or serious personal injuries such
as those listed on Page One.
WARNING
Repeat the process for the upper pole
joint with the remaining Self-Drilling
Screw (JA).

Turn the Base over so the
Wheels are on the bottom.

and insert the Pole Braces (AP) into the Collar.

3/8” Zinc Nut (LA) into the
Locking Knob (AS).

of the bolt and tighten in order to pull
the sides of the slide collar together.

After the Pole Braces (AP) are attached
to the Base, loosen one of the Knobs on
the Slide Collar and adjust the pole until
it is upright. Tighten the Knobs securely.
Tip the system forward until the pole
rests on the ground.
The bottom of the Bellows (PG)
overlaps the Spring (PA) by 1”. The
top is 1/2” from the top of the Spring.
1413 Attach the pole braces (AP) to the
base on each side.
Remove the Zinc Nut (LA)
from the end of the bolt.
