Installaon Guide
This procedure is designed as an installaon aid. Skilled tradespeople that are familiar with general construcon and electrical
installaon techniques should perform the installaon. Licensed electricians should provide electrical installaon connecons.
Installaons and connecons should be done in accordance with all naonal and local codes and permits. In no way is this
document intended to construe warranty or tness of use of the products described, nor is it intended to provide safety
instrucon for those installing the product.
WARNING
Before proceeding with installaon or service maintenance of this product:
• Disconnect power to reduce electrical shock risk.
• Review the enre Installaon Guide.
• Inspect this properly packaged product for any damage that may have occurred during transit.
• Verify product applicaon complies with manufacturer design recommendaons.
• Verify the availability of necessary tools and incidental material.
• Verify applicable code requirements. Field assembly and installaon are subject to acceptance by local inspecon authority.
• Appropriate safety equipment to be determined by end user, per applicable safety standards and precauons.

Step 1 - Install the back plate
inside the pole with top bolt.*
Step 2 - Install nut/washer
near end of bolt.

Step 4 - Hang the
luminaire on top bolt.
Step 5 - Align boom holes
in the luminaire and back
plate with closest hole
in the pole, install lower
bolt, and ghten upper nut/
washer and lower bolt.
Step 6 - Connect grounding
wire to grounding screw.

Step 8a - Connect the green conductor to the ground chassis marked “G”(shown to the right of the terminal block).
Step 8b - Connect the black conductor (Hot 1) to the input terminal marked “L”.
Step 8c - Connect the white conductor (Neutral) or second black conductor (Hot 2) to the input terminal marked “N”
according to Wiring Table.

Step 7 - Adjust Light Output
Consult with design engineer before changing. If a new light
output is required, open the connector and change the
connecon according to the output selector label installed in
the xture. Note: If the FOC (Fixed Output Code) opon or CR
opon was ordered, the light output cannot be changed.

Step 1 - The oponal wall mount accessory uses fasteners and back
plate provided with ComfortGuide. Insert the back plate inside
the wall mount with sloed hole facing up. Insert bolt provided
through the sloed hole and into threaded hole at the top center of the
wall mount. Tighten bolt so back plate is secure against the back side of
the wall mount with top of sloed hole resng on top of the bolt.

Step 3 - Open the ComfortGuide power door and
insert the bolt protruding from the wall mount through
the center top sloed hole in the mounng base of
the luminaire. Rest the xture on the bolt and secure it
with washer and nut provided.
Step 4 - Insert and ghten the second bolt provided into
the corresponding threaded hole in the back plate.

Step 2 - Drill four mounng holes in wall corresponding with
template shown. Secure the wall mount to the wall with 1/4”
anchor bolts (provided by others). Use bolts and anchors that
are appropriate for mounng surface. Use at head bolts if
ush look is desired. Wiring may be run directly through the
large center hole or through knockouts for 1/2” conduit on top,
boom and sides of wall mount to accommodate surface wiring.
