• As soon as components and hardware are unpacked; please remove all plastic bags from possible contact with children and recycle.

• Now that you have the front and
back fastened to the side; slide the
Bottom Panel in the panel groove
(The side with the Little Colorado
logo is the top side).
•Repeat steps 1 and 2 to attach
the remaining Side Panel.
• Be certain the bottom, front, and
back panels are fully located in the
grooves before tightening screws.

• Place Lid on top of the box and line
up existing marks located on outside
of the back panel to holes in hinge.
Attach hinge to back of box using (14)
#6 1/2 inch screws.
• Be careful not to over tighten screws.

• Using the existing holes, attach bottom of
Lid Support to inside of Back Panel using
(2) of the #8 1/2 inch wood screws.
• Be careful not to over tighten screws.

• Begin assembly with the Back Panel,
Front Panel and either one of the
Side Panels.
• Insert the Back Panel into the groove
on the Side Panel.
!Be sure to align the side and back panel
grooves so that the bottom panel will install
properly (see drawing in step 3).
• Use the Phillips head screwdriver to screw
(4) Trim Washers and (4) 1-1/4 Wood Screws
to attach both the Front and Back Panels
to the Side Panel.

Please Recycle Instructions
• Now that you have completed the assembly,
open and close the lid 10 times to break in the
lid support mechanism.
•The lid should not fall when the Lid Support is
properly installed.
• If the lid does not stay in position when raised,
please call us and we will help you. Until the lid
support is properly installed, do not allow
children to use this product.
• Carefully open lid straight up and rest it against
a stationary object (Wall, chair, etc.) Mount the
top part of the Lid Support to the inside of the
lid using the existing holes and (2) #8 1/2 inch
wood screws.
• It is very important that the existing holes line
up perfectly or the lid support may not function
properly.
•Be careful not to over tighten screws.

Use and Care Instructions
If you received an unnished (raw plywood) Big Toy Box, it is highly recommended that a good quality paint, stain or clear coat be used to seal
the wood surfaces for the longest possible life.
The nish on this product is an environmentally friendly water base acrylic made by Sherwin Williams. It may be cleaned with a furniture polish,
lemon oil or a non abrasive cleaner using a soft cloth. DO NOT USE AMMONIA or products containing ammonia such as Windex glass or
multi-surface cleaner. Scuff marks can usually be removed by using a polishing compound sold at auto parts stores.
