exposed to freezing temperatures. Formation and expansion of ice may crack the base.
Note: It is recommended to use 4 plastic bases together to properly weigh the umbrella to the ground.

Twist the cap off umbrella base (A) as below.
Fill umbrella base (A) with sand or water to increase the weight.
Warning: Only fill with water when used in warm climates. Do not fill with water if exposed
to freezing temperatures. Formation and expansion of ice may crack the base.

Replace the cap on umbrella base (A).

Step 4:
Place the water- or sand-filled umbrella bases (A) snug into a corner of the umbrella stand
as shown in the diagram. (Umbrella is not included.)
Note: It is recommended to use 4 plastic bases together to properly weigh the umbrella to
the ground.
