2. Deactivation
Hold a magnet over the silver spot/dimple.
When the LED lights, hold the magnet in place for about a second until the LED turns off and then remove the magnet.
The LED will flash twice to indicate the PTT is turning off.
Again the PTT test beeper can be used to confirm the PTT has been successfully turned off.
3. Checking the current PTT status
Hold the magnet momentarily over the silver spot/dimple and the LED will blink briefly.
If the PTT is active, the LED will flash ten times.
If the PTT is turned off, the LED will flash twice.
NOTE: When activated, KiwiSat®202 PTTs will transmit continuously until midnight UTC regardless of the programmed duty cycle.
KiwiSat®PTTs can be turned on and off as many times as desired. As a failsafe, KiwiSat®202 PTTs will automatically turn on when
in salt water for > 60 seconds.
